2027 PG 9U PGI National Championship (Major)
Welcome to the 7th Annual 9U Perfect Game Invitational National Championship (PGI), one of the premier events and the crown jewel of Perfect Game’s 9U Major national tournament schedule! The 2027 championship returns to Southaven, Mississippi, July 5–11, at the beautiful Snowden Grove Park, featuring 17 outstanding fields with all-turf infields that will provide the ultimate stage for some of the most talented and competitive 9U Major teams in the country.

This prestigious national championship is DESIGNED FOR THE TOP 9U MAJOR TEAMS IN THE COUNTRY, bringing together an elite field of programs ready to test themselves against the nation’s best. Participation is selective, with teams evaluated based on their competitive accomplishments, tournament performances, and overall level of play. The PG National Tournament Committee will review team requests and help assemble a championship field that represents some of the strongest 9U Major competition in youth baseball. This is not your average weekend tournament. This is where the best come to compete against the best!

The tournament features a 6-game guarantee with a double-elimination championship bracket, delivering an incredible week of high-level competition where every pitch, every inning, and every game matters. The excitement begins July 5 with Opening Ceremonies, bringing together talented young athletes, coaches, and families from across the country for an unforgettable kickoff to championship week. Tournament play begins July 6, with competition continuing through July 11. From the opening round of pool play to the final out of the National Championship, teams will be tested against some of the strongest competition in the country. The ultimate goal is simple: Compete against the nation’s best, battle your way through the championship bracket, and leave Southaven as a Perfect Game National Champion!

As Perfect Game’s flagship 9U event, the PGI is designed to provide a true national championship atmosphere while creating an unforgettable experience for young athletes and their families. Players, coaches, and fans can expect an exciting week featuring extensive social media coverage, DiamondKast live scoring and statistics, championship excitement, and the premium tournament experience that separates Perfect Game from the rest. We want every young athlete to experience the thrill of competing on a national stage, representing their team, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

While the level of competition will be extremely high, we also believe that youth baseball should be FUN! This is an opportunity for young players to challenge themselves, build friendships, enjoy the game they love, and experience something truly special. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where the competition is fierce, the memories are unforgettable, and every player leaves with an experience they will remember for years to come.

Six years of champions have helped establish the PGI as one of the most prestigious and competitive events in youth baseball. Programs such as WFBA Hammerheads, ZT National Prospects, TBT National, DG29 Baseball Academy, and HTX Wildcatters have all left their mark on this championship. In 2027, another team will have the opportunity to join this exclusive list and etch its name into Perfect Game history.

The road to a National Championship starts long before the first pitch in Southaven! Build your résumé, compete against top-level competition, and show why your program deserves to be part of the nation’s premier 9U Major championship. If you believe your team belongs among the best in the country, this is your opportunity to prove it! Request your invite today!
