PG Upstate Summer 2026 Mound Visit Rule For the Summer 2026 season, PG Upstate will continue using its current mound visit rule: Coaches are allowed one mound visit per inning. On the second mound visit to the same pitcher in the same inning, the pitcher must be removed from the pitching position. PG Upstate will adopt the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) mound visit rule beginning in the Fall 2026 season. Maintaining the current rule through the summer will allow coaches, umpires, and staff adequate time to prepare for the transition and help avoid confusion during the season.
