Parents & Players,

As I mentioned today, the players CAN WEAR regular cleats on Sunday, either metal or molded cleats are fine (pitchers and catchers absolutely SHOULD wear cleats). The mound is dirt and the plate area is dirt, so turfs and flats are not suitable for the players on dirt.

2025 Top Prospects
Ellis Fuller  OF - 2025 - Richmond, CA
Uncommitted

Run tool stood out amongst his peers as he was a menace on the base paths. Clocked a fast 6.70 60-yard dash and is a switch hitter that can mirror the swing. Solid foundation to build on.

Takoda Newman  OF - 2025 - Redwood Valley, CA
Uncommitted

Newman is a good young athlete and his athleticism translates across the board and gives him a good foundation moving forward. He ran a 6.80 in the 60, moves around the outfield well with arm strength up to 85 mph and has athletic movements in how he swings the bat with plenty of projectable components at present

Nicholas Overton  RHP - 2025 - Pasadena, CA
Belmont Abbey

Overton is on the physical end at 6-2/215 and he's got a full repertoire of pitches that certainly stood out as he mixed them all for strikes. Up to 84, he sank the fastball in the mid 80's with high spin and little effort to create it and while the secondaries are slightly behind the quality of the fastball, he's got healthy shape and spin on the curveball/slider combo

August Cuneo  C - 2025 - Petaluma, CA
Uncommitted

Cuneo is another young prospect who didn't post overly loud tools but has plenty to like, fitting the mold of a talented young player. Offensively it's a really connected right-handed stroke with the makings of true bat speed and barrel whip while he can already use the whole field and has flashes of being able to impact the ball when really squared.

2026 Top Prospects
Jack Owen  RHP - 2026 - Centerville, UT
Colorado Mesa

Owen pounded the zone in his outing on the mound as he worked with confidence and allowed one hit while striking out six in two innings. He ran the fastball up to 87 mph while working backwards and pitching off a solid 12-to-6 breaking ball that he can land at will.

Gabriel Felix  LHP - 2026 - San Jose, CA
Uncommitted

Felix was a bulldog on the mound racking up eight strikeouts over three innings of work. Was missing barrels all afternoon and attacking hitters constantly. Ran the FB to 87 and dropped in a curveball/changeup that had hitters off balance

Ryan Hubbard  C - 2026 - El Dorado Hills, CA
Santa Clara

Hubbard showed a veteran approach and squared it up consistently in his BP round and in-game. Has a level swing that stays long through the zone and demonstrates over the fence power potential.

Ka'ipo Matsushima  C - 2026 - Seattle, WA
UNLV

Matsushima had a solid weekend offensively and defensively. He took a strong batting practice showing a solid middle of the field approach transferring on time and using good bat speed and strength to create jump off the barrel, which translated over to game action where he smoked an opposite field triple. He's an excellent receiver behind the dish and shows the desire to block balls in the dirt.

Dominic Delaney  OF - 2026 - San Francisco, CA
Nevada

Delaney was one of the more impressive players for the age group. He showed above-average bat speed and a balanced swing to find the barrel often. The barrel fires through the zone and produced an exit velocity of 91 mph. He showed twitchy actions in the outfield while throwing 87 mph. The athleticism helped him run a 6.99 sixty as well.

Sam Lakey  OF - 2026 - Pleasanton, CA
Uncommitted

Lakey saw the ball well at the event picking up a couple hits in game. It's a short and compact swing with good bat speed as he shifts his weight well in the process while showing the ability to stick in the outfield defensively with athletic actions and an arm up to 81=3 mph.

2027 Top Prospects
Kaden Paris  OF - 2027 - Oakley, CA
Uncommitted

Paris was known to be one of the top players in attendance coming into the event and certainly didn't disappoint. Took a solid outfield round with athletic actions and a plus arm tool, then proceeded to barrel just about every ball in batting practice before producing some loud in game barrels with hard impact to all parts of the field.

Gabriel Coca  OF - 2027 - Danville, CA
Uncommitted

Coca showed the ability to stick as a two-way player. Was a standout at the plate going 2-for-4 and punched out 3 in one inning of work. Ran the FB to 83 and dropped in a serviceable curveball/changeup combo producing swing and miss.

Michael Scarpa  1B - 2027 - Saratoga, CA
Uncommitted

Scarpa saw the ball well at the event picking up a couple hits. Just missed a HR by inches showing off his power tool. It's a short and compact swing with good bat speed as he transfers his weight well in the process while showing the ability to stick on the dirt defensively at first base with solid actions and an arm up to 75 mph.
