2019 Top Prospects

Kordell Brown  SS - 2019 - Sacramento, CA

Brown is an outstanding defensive middle infielder with quick hands and feet and a very accurate throwing arm and that defensive ability was the standout tool of the showcase. He's also a switch-hitter with a short and quick swing from both sides of the plate.

Peyton Jones  LHP - 2019 - South Jordan, UT
Cal State Fullerton

Jones has an ideas young pitcher's body at 6-3/175 and is very projectable on the mound. He worked consistently in the 83-85 mph range and showed tight spin and biting action on his low 70's curveball. Jones also showed his athleticism well as the highest graded defensive outfielder.

Cole Gilbert  1B - 2019 - Escalon, CA

Gilbert is an extra strong 6-3/230 right handed hitter with a nice short swing for his size and strength. He hit the ball to all fields with authority and is the type of player whose bat can sit in the middle of a line up at the next level.

Alejandro Soto  C - 2019 - Benicia, CA

Soto has an athletic and projectable 6-1/175 build and lots of looseness and fluidity to his actions. He showed tools in all areas both offensively and defensively and should continue to improve in all areas as he gets stronger.

Gibson has a very athletic 6-2/175 build and showed his overall ability well on defense and at the plate. He really stood out on the mound, where he filled up the strike zone with lively 83-85 mph fastballs that hitters couldn't handle.

Max Moore  C - 2019 - Oakdale, CA
Modesto Junior College

Moore has a strong prototypical catcher's build at 5-11/205 but he also has lots of quickness defensively and gets out of his crouch very well. Moore also showed next level arm strength and posted a 1.91 pop time.

Luke Mingham  RHP - 2019 - Clayton, CA

Mingham stands out for his 6-5/210 pound build and is projectable on the mound as he physically matures and works out some mechanical issues. He was steady from 80-82 over his outing to go with a short 73 mph slider.


2020 Top Prospects

Robert Ciulla  SS - 2020 - San Francisco, CA
Yale

Ciulla has a nice balance of tools in addition to a projectable 6-2/185 build. He ran a sub-7.0 sixty, showed good arm strength in the infield and plenty of right handed bat speed and should continue to improve in all areas.

Caleb Jeske  C - 2020 - Angwin, CA

Jeske showed solid tools in the drills and batting practice but really shined in the games both offensively, where he consistently lined the ball hard all over the field, and defensively, where he threw and blocked well.

Anthony Manuel  SS - 2020 - Antioch, CA

Manuel has good strength in his 5-10/185 build and has solid middle infield tools on defense to go with his strength. He threw 86 mph across the infield with nice footwork getting to the ball and working into his throws.

Riley Sinclair  RHP - 2020 - Camas, WA

Sinclair has a very young and projectable 6-4/175 build and a fast arm that gives him lots of potential on the mound. He threw a very lively 80-82 mph fastball that is sure to keep improving and flashed the ability to spin the ball hard.

Jared Quandt  C - 2020 - Los Gatos, CA

Quandt was very sound mechanically and athletically on defense, including posting a 1.95 pop time. He is also a switch-hitter who showed good bat speed, especially from the left side.

Torpay was another player who really stood out in the games both offensively and on the mound. He pounded the strike zone with a fastball up to 83 mph and a good curveball and picked up 5 hits during the games, many on solid line drives.

Mateo Roberts  3B - 2020 - Martinez, CA

Roberts has a very long and still projectable 6-2/205 build and there is plenty of power potential in his right handed bat as he learns how to get to it. He showed very quick actions defensively at third base and made a couple of very nice plays.


2021 Top Prospects

Elvin Delic  SS - 2021 - Elk Grove, CA
San Francisco

Delic has very good strength for his age and a nice balance of athletic tools. He runs a 6.95 sixty and can play multiple positions and was even up to 83 mph on the mound. A right handed hitter, Delic has a strong right handed swing and the bat speed to make the ball jump.


2022 Top Prospects

William Wentworth  LHP - 2022 - Livermore, CA

Wentworth has a very projectable 6-1/165 pound build and showed very good athleticism and a sound delivery for his age. He dominated for 4 innings, throwing strikes with a mature 3-pitch mix of a mid-70's fastball, a nice curveball and a fading change up.

Ethan Pack  OF - 2022 - Sacramento, CA
Ottawa University

Pack is a very young left handed hitter with a strong swing for his age and lots of projectability. His outfield fundamentals were surprisingly advanced for a player his age and he also ran a 7.06 to highlight his athleticism.
