Archer Ellis  SS - 2028 - Cape Coral, FL
Uncommitted

Ellis is listed as a primary shortstop, but it was on the mound where he opened the most eyes. The young right-hander ran his fastball up to 77 mph with consistent running life, peppering in the strike zone while showing whip to his arm with a compact stroke in the back.

Ethan Baker  3B - 2028 - Sunbury, OH

Baker showed plenty of things to like as the 2028 Ohio native displayed athleticism in both the infield and outfield, while producing plenty of present bat speed and the ability to backspin the baseball. He produced developing arm strength up to 77 mph from the outfield and will continue to expand his tools with additional physical maturity.

Braeson Estilette  RHP - 2028 - Carencro, LA

Estilette did a little bit of everything throughout the Main Event, beginning with his performance on the mound as a primary arm where he showed running life on his heater and feel for his slider in the zone. There's real strength in his right-handed swing as well, getting extended out front with jump to the middle and pull side parts of the field.

Joseph Banquer  C - 2028 - Norco, LA

Banquer provided defensive value at multiple spots during his event, starting behind the dish as a primary catcher displaying clean transfers and on-line throws. He was efficient on the mound and sequenced the arsenal well with spin profile developing in the arsenal. Offensively, the 5-foot-8, 145 pound righty flashed strength in the hands with good intent present in the stroke.


2029 Top Prospects
Paris Head  SS - 2029 - Chicago, IL

Head impressed defensively from both the OF and IF, topping out at 78 mph from both spots with plenty of projection remaining in the 5-foot-10, 150 pound frame; also topped out at 81 mph on the mound. He produced solid impact to all parts of the field offensively and will continue to be one of the premier 2029 names for years to come.

Ivan Carballo  2B - 2029 - Riverview, FL

Carballo put on a show in each facet of his game, as the 2029 Florida native started things off by running a 7.37 second sixty-yard dash. He used his athleticism to maneuver seamlessly in the outfield and produced arm strength up to 81 mph during drills. He followed it up by showcasing good lateral range and fluidity in the infield, while displaying a real handle for the bat. He generates tons of present bat speed, impacts it authority to all fields and has strength to display legitimate power potential.

Leo Kelly  3B - 2029 - Evanston, IL

Kelly utilized the strength in his frame well to generate quality bat speed through the zone, impacting the baseball well while generating separation within his swing. While the bat is the big tool, he also showed well both in the infield and outfield with sound, balanced actions and a strong arm on his throws.

Antonio Marino  OF - 2029 - North Fort Myers, FL

Marino led the event with a 7.10 in the 60-yard dash before impressing with his actions all over the field, particularly behind the plate and in the outfield. He lived on the barrel throughout his round of BP, staying simple in his approach while remaining compact through the zone.

Austin Burton  C - 2029 - Kitchener, ON CAN

Burton showed promising traits at the plate, as the left-handed hitting backstop impacted the baseball through the middle-of-the field pretty frequently. He ran his fastball up to 74 mph on the mound and used that same arm strength behind the plate to deliver accurate throws during drills

Christian Mumford  SS - 2029 - Madison, MS

Mumford's 7.24 time in the 60-yard dash came in as second best in the event, a strong time for a player at the 13u level. He moved around with some fluidity in the infield, showing cleanliness to his hands and also ran his fastball up to 75 mph on the mound. There are things to like in his swing too moving forward with extension out front, especially as he continued to add strength.

Hayes Ressler  2B - 2029 - Colorado Springs, CO

Ressler made the trip out from Colorado and showed nicely across the board. He ran a 7.54 60-yard dash with smooth actions in the outfield where he showed quickness both to his footwork and arm stroke. He worked on a line with his right-handed swing as well, spraying line drive contact around with some feel for the barrel.

Jackson Roy  SS - 2029 - Natick, MA

Roy displayed present athleticism on both sides of the field, showcasing natural actions from his primary SS spot with lateral range displayed. Arm strength should continue to see improvements as the 5-foot-7, 120 pound frame is filled out. He repeated the offensive stroke well with evident bat speed through the zone, generating consistent impact back up the middle of the field.

Gavin Teeter  OF - 2029 - North Fort Myers, FL

Teeter showed attributes on both sides of the baseball and flashed some two-way upside. He ran his fastball up to 75 mph on the mound, while flashing feel for spin and projection. At the plate, he produced present bat speed and the ability to deliver the barrel with authority. He completed his tool set with defensive acumen and athleticism in both the infield and outfield, producing throws up to 76 mph (IF) and 77 mph across the diamond.

Bennett Whitcomb  OF - 2029 - York, PA

Whitcomb displayed two-way upside and plenty of things to like moving forward throughout. He displayed fundamentally sound footwork in the outfield and produced throws up to 74 mph during drills. On the mound, he ran his fastball up to 74 mph and flashed a potential three-pitch mix to attack hitters. Lastly,, at the plate he used his present bat speed and created some leverage to impact the baseball.

Bradley Zadlo  SS - 2029 - Hickory, NC

Zadlo impressed all over the place with his skills during the weekend in Fort Myers, showing nice potential moving forward. He showed a clean arm on the mound and showed a slider that proved to be a separator on the mound. A primary third baseman, he moves around well in the dirt with the ability to adjust and worked around to all fields throughout his round of BP.
