2024 Top Prospects

Rafael Furcal Jr  3B - 2024 - Weston, FL

Furcal Jr. showed some big things in the workout portion throwing 88 mph across the diamond while showing great actions and putting on a show in batting practice. He continued this trend in game action hitting a homer on Saturday and two doubles on Sunday.

Lenin Nuñez  OF - 2024 - Miami, FL
St. Petersburg College

Nuñez may have had the loudest tools in attendance, running a 6.78 60-yard dash, throwing 95 mph from the outfield and upper-80s across the infield. He also showed intriguing things with the bat, showing good feel for the barrel from both sides.

Jean Carlos Garcia-Chicano  SS - 2024 - Miami, FL
Bethune-Cookman

Garcia-Chicano got the event started off on the right foot, running one of the fastest sixties early on Saturday and then throwing mid-80s across the diamond while also showing easy impact at the plate. The bat continued to stay hot in game action with a home run in game one and a double in game two.

Jonathan Fernandez-Andrew  LHP - 2024 - Cutler Bay, FL
Erskine College

Fernandez-Andrew's arm talent was on display throughout the event. The primary left-handed pitcher ran the fastball into the upper-80s with a loose arm and feel to spin it while also throwing 88 mph from first base and showing some power in the left-handed bat.

Abraham Contreras  OF - 2024 - Blainville, QC CAN

Contreras may have had the loudest round of batting practice at the event. The big and physical primary outfielder showcased some big power in the right-handed bat, hitting the ball hard to all fields. He also threw 85 mph from the outfield with good actions.

Aaron Groeneveld  SS - 2024 - Pembroke Pines, FL
Eastern Kentucky

Groeneveld showcased great actions in the infield workout with a good internal clock and a solid arm across the diamond, getting up to 81 mph. He's also a good runner and controls the barrel nicely in the left-handed swing.

Daniel Reyes  OF - 2024 - Homestead, FL
Florida Southwestern State College

Reyes showed a number of tools to love throughout the event, especially on day one. He's a physically built outfielder with obvious strength, ran a 6.97 60-yard dash and has a good arm from the outfield. The swing is compact with easy strength off the barrel too.

Christopher Conde  RHP - 2024 - Lakeland, FL
St. Petersburg College

Conde showed great arm strength across the diamond and it translated onto the mound in his outing. He ran the fastball up to 86 mph with a tight breaking slider that he could throw for strikes. He has good feel for the two pitch mix and rolled through the relief appearance.

Tony DiChiara  C - 2024 - Toms River, NJ
Monmouth

Dichiara shined in the defensive workouts behind the plate. He's a strongly built backstop with bend in the lower half and athleticism coming out of the crouch. He has a good arm, recording throws up to 77 mph and showed power in the round of batting practice.

Miguel Gonzalez  SS - 2024 - Miami, FL
Florida Southwestern State College

Gonzalez showed great range in the round of infield with easy arm strength across the diamond, recording throws up to 84 mph. He also performed well in game with a home run to the pull-side in Saturday's action.


2025 Top Prospects

Hogan Nelson  OF - 2025 - Fort Worth, TX
Dallas Baptist

Nelson was all over the barrel in game action while also shining in the workout portion early on in day one. The Dallas Baptist commit showed good arm strength from multiple positions and sound footwork and easy pull-side strength in his round of batting practice.

Orlando Cruz  OF - 2025 - Juncos, PR
Uncommitted

Cruz was one of the more athletic players in attendance, running the fastest 60-yard dash of the event to kick things off, a 6.54. He followed that up throwing 90 mph from the outfield with accuracy and also showed a bunch of things to like in the swing. He performed well in game action too.

Kai So  C - 2025 - Gainesville, FL

So showed easy pull-side impact throughout the event in the left-handed swing. He's a physically built catcher with a solid arm and accurate throws with easy strength off the barrel shown throughout the round and game action.

Garcia had a great showing in the infield workout, showing athletic actions with ability to change slots. He then followed that up with an impressive workout behind the plate showing big arm strength and impressed in the batting practice, hitting hard liners to both sides.

Orozco strung together an impressive round of batting practice and also showed a lot to like behind the plate and on the mound. The strength really stood out in the round, hitting balls hard consistently to the pull-side while also throwing 78 mph from behind the plate and mid-80s on the mound.

Cabrera lived on the barrel throughout the round of batting practice and showed the ability to impact to both sides. He's a good runner too, running a 6.76 60 while also showing good actions and footwork in the outfield workout with a solid arm.

Fulton showed big strength in his round of batting practice, hitting balls hard to the pull-side. He also showed good arm strength on the infield workout and it translated onto the mound as he ran the fastball into the mid-80s with a solid breaking ball.

Ethan Trivison  LHP - 2026 - Jupiter, FL
Clemson

Trivison shined on the mound in the start on Saturday. The tall and lean left-handed ran the fastball into the mid-80s with a bigger shaped breaking ball and good feel for a changeup to right-handers. He pounded the zone with the three pitch mix and it's easy to project more velocity down the road.

Emanuel Hernandez  SS - 2026 - Ponce, PR

Hernandez showed a ton of great things in the infield workout. He has athletic movements with easy range to both sides and a big arm across the diamond, recording throws up to 88 mph. He showed a contact oriented approach at the plate and sprayed liners all over the diamond.

Colon showcased some big arm strength throughout the event from multiple spots. He recorded accurate throws from the outfield up to 85 mph and also ran the fastball up to 85 mph on the mound. He's an athletic player with good tools across the board.

Alston showed great arm strength on the mound, running the fastball into the mid-80s. The arm strength translated to the outfield workout well as he threw 86 mph from there with carry out of the hand. He also showed the ability to find the barrel in the round of batting practice.

Flynt, a primary outfielder, really shined on the mound in his appearance. He has a long and loose arm action with easy projection to the frame. He ran the fastball into the mid-80s with sinking action.
