Spiller is an uncommitted senior with the ability to play at the next level. He's a very athletic middle infielder on defense with some juice in his bat at the plate. He was also up to 85 mph on the mound with the potential for more there.
The long and lean Gonzalez was excellent in the middle infield on defense both in drills and the games, making every play look easy. He also stood out on the mound, with a lively 83 mph fastball from a low 3/4's arm slot to go with a 2500+ rpm curveball in the low 70's.
Ahrens is a projectable 6-2 southpaw with a solid three-pitch mix that will keep improving as he gets stronger. He topped out at 85 mph on his fastball with good life and also threw a slider and change up.
Phillips is a versatile and very projectable 6-3/185 athlete who can play all over the field and has plenty of hitting potential as well. He was also up to 84 mph on the mound with more there.
Meyer is a strong bodied catcher with good strength in his hands that creates jump off the barrel. He showed two-way talent as well, throwing lots of strikes with a fastball up to 84 and a low 70's curveball he landed very consistently.
Sido has a strong 6-0/190 build and uses his strength well to create bat speed from the right side and he was very consistent squaring up balls. He's a 7.29 runner with 83 mph arm strength from the outfield.
Woda has an outstanding set of physical tools for a young catcher. He ran a 6.90 sixty, threw 78 mph from behind the plate in drills and took the best batting practice of the event. He's a young player to follow carefully.
Cozad and Alex Gonzalez (above) were very similar players as projectable athletes with the ability to play middle infield at the next level as they continue to get stronger. Cozad's defense especially stood out in the games.
Drinkwine is a big and strong athlete who ran a 7.06 sixty and threw an impressive 88 mph from the outfield. He probably had more solid barrels than any player at the showcase and did a great job of driving the ball gap to gap.
Dierks looks bigger than his listed 6-3/195 has the strength to go with it. He has a lively 84 mph fastball and a sharp breaking 2600+ spin rate curveball that will be a major weapon when he learns to command it. Dierks also showed lots of power with his bat at the plate.
McNair really needs to add strength to his 6-0/145 frame but he's very athletic with 6.90 speed. His right handed swing is very fluid and he has "hitterish" athletic actions in the box.
Munchel is an athletic and projectable middle infielder who had a nice combination of offensive and defensive skills and has plenty of room to get stronger at 6-1/160.
