Easy to say Maeder's pair of legit plus breakers were my favorite thing I saw throughout the California Prospect Showcase. He ripped one 2800 rpm after another. There's more velo left in the tank here and when he taps into it, watch out . The breakers will play up even further. Really promising stuff from the Nor-Cal product.
Big physical kid that found a bunch of in game barrels. The swing is shows controlled violence with enough loft to say that he's going to leave the yard at least a handful of times in his senior campaign
Actions behind the dish in defensive workouts stood out. The arm plays and the footwork has improved since last showing. Batting practice was loud at time deep to the pull side. There is potential for a promising future on the mound as well. Easy operation with plenty of feel to spin.
Legit in game impact on both sides of the ball. Nabbed multiple would be base stealers with above average arm and foot work behnd the plate. At the dish, advanced feel for the barrel with direct path. A combo that lead to quite a few loud line drive base knocks. Impressed all weekend. Someone to keep tabs on going into the highschool season.
Really quality showing for Park. The swing is so easy and fluid you don't expect him to lay down the kind of impact he does. Creates easy leverage to the pull side with sound rhtyhm and whippy barrel through the zone. Absoulutely rock solid in game work for the uncommited 2024. The loud BP was carried over well to say the least.
Repeatable delivery with feel to force a ton of weak contact. He utilizes a cut fastball to get in on the hands of right handed bats with frequency. The breaker is round and depthy but should sharpen up as the velocity increases. All in all, we were impressed by the command and the feel to pitch.
