2023 Top Prospects
Jesus Mosegue  OF - 2023 - Miami, FL
Uncommitted

Mosegue started off the weekend by running 6.92 60-yard dash which was the second fastest from the workout. He showed off the strength and athleticism in the outfield, throwing 85 mph during the workout. He swung it well in game. Has some strength in the hands, getting on plane to drive the ball well to the middle of the field. Drove one to deep center, burning the centerfielder over his head and was able to hustle out a triple on the play.

Marlon Bravo Jr.  1B - 2023 - Miami, FL
Missouri Valley College

Bravo Jr. had perhaps the best round of BP from the workout portion of the showcase and he carried that hitting ability into the games as well. He uses a quick weight shift with a ton of strength present in the bigger frame. Made it clear he could lift the baseball during his round and left the yard to right-center. He also threw 84 across the infield from short with intent to his actions. Smooth operator at first base with good turns and good moves to the ball, throwing 85 mph across to third base during his round of defense. Bravo Jr. picked up a few knocks in game, getting the barrel out front and driving pitches to both sides of the infield, respectively. Produced 93 mph exit velocity.

Luis Morera  2B - 2023 - Miami Lakes, FL
St. Thomas University

Morera had one of the quicker 60-yard times from the weekend, running a 6.92 to kick things off. He worked out at shortstop, throwing 81 mph across the diamond with athletic actions showing throughout. Produced an 86 mph exit velocity and was able to produce loud contact during his round of BP when he got extended and rotated through the swing to drive the ball. Picked up an easy single in-game after sending a fastball back up the middle for an easy single.


2024 Top Prospects
Jose Roig  RHP - 2024 - Miami, FL
Pasco-Hernando CC

Roig was solid all around this weekend. He started by showing a smooth round of infield defense, throwing 81 mph across the diamond with some snatch to the glove. Had good bat speed wit the ability to produce line-drives to both sides of the field, rotating well through contact. Picked up a pull-side home run on a pitch he crushed to deep left field. Stayed compact but still engaged the lower half and got it done. Roig also pitched, working 77-81 mph with an 11-5 breaking ball that was problematic for the opposition. Punched out 5 hitters over his 3 innings of work.

Alejandro Ludeiro  C - 2024 - Pembroke Pines, FL
Lipscomb

Ludeiro was a stud behind the plate this weekend. He posted the best pop time of 1.86 and threw 79 mph down to second base during his round of throws. He was smooth behind the plate, receiving well, and overall having a good baseball-IQ. He swung it well in BP with one of the best rounds, leaving the yard pull-side and showing off serious juice pull-side. Almost went yard in game, driving one off the wall down the left-field line for a double.

Gabriel Carvajal  3B - 2024 - Miami, FL

Carvajal found barrels all weekend long. Did a good job being able to drive the ball to all fields, especially pull-side. Picked up a couple of base hits in-game and looked the part in the box with some strength showing. Also pieced together a smooth inning on the mound on Sunday. Produced 86 mph exit velocity.

Jael Hernandez  RHP - 2024 - Coral Springs, FL
Palm Beach State

Hernandez started the weekend off by running a 7.18 60-yard dash. He worked out at shortstop with smooth hands and a good funnel into the throws which came out hot at 86 mph across the diamond. Hernandez swung it well with loose hands and the ability to match planes with pitches to do damage. Picked up a solid base hit pull-side in-game after getting the hands to a pitch and driving it into left. Paired that with another base knock on Sunday. Also jumped on the mound working up to 86 mph on the fastball. Had a slurvy-breaking ball in the low-70s that had good shape to it. Punched out four hitters over two innings of work.


2025 Top Prospects
Jonathan Vazquez  3B - 2025 - Miami Lakes, FL
Northwest Florida State College

Vazquez shined on both sides of the ball flashing huge upside on the mound and at the plate. The left-handed hitter showed a loose, fluid stroke with big strength at the point of contact in batting practice. He carried over the power he showed in BP to game action with a towering pull side homerun that got out in a hurry. Vazquez arm strength was evident on the bump with a fastball that topped out at 87 mph from a quick arm and explosive delivery. Lots to like here from the two-way standout.

Christopher Sosa  RHP - 2025 - Hialeah, FL

Sosa impressed in his two-inning outing racking up swings and misses with his entire repertoire. The right-hander has a desirable pitchers frame with long levers and plenty to project on. His delivery was uber-athletic with an efficient, shorter arm action that added deception to his operation. Sosa’s fastball topped at 89 mph showing natural cutting life that missed barrels both in and out of the zone. Both secondary pitches flashed potential with the changeup showing low spin and velocity separation in the low-70s and a well-tunneled breaking ball with big sweeping action.

Marcelo Rodriguez  RHP - 2025 - Miami, FL
Arizona State

Rodriguez came out and worked 85-87 mph on the fastball, throwing strikes and being efficient. Showed a breaking ball in the mid-70s with good shape to it, the pitch got whiffs and set him up for success. Elevated the fastball late for success and was able to have plenty of success early on. Pounded the zone and was able to find ways to get hitters out. Dominant outing from the right-hander who struck out 7 over 3 innings of work.

Alfrin "AJ" Rosario  RHP - 2025 - Miami Lakes, FL
Western Oklahoma State College

Rosario jumped on the mound and worked up to 84 mph on the heater, spinning up to 2,169 RPMs, being able to miss bats with good arm-side carry on the pitch. He worked out at shortstop, throwing 88 mph across the diamond which was the fastest recorded at the event. Rosario's operation was smooth at shortstop, being able to adjust arm slots as needed and be an athletic mover. Picked up a nice base knock in-game as well.

Justin Mercado  OF - 2025 - Miramar, FL

Mercado had a great workout portion of the showcase. He ran a 6.68 60-yard dash which was the fastest at the event. He worked smoothly in the outfield, charging the ball with intent and carrying momentum through throws that were at 83 mph. Also worked out at shortstop, throwing 80 mph across the diamond with a smooth arm action across. Showed off bat speed and strength in the hands during BP round. Produced 83 mph exit velocity to round out his workout.


2026 Top Prospects
Michael "MJ" Hough  RHP - 2026 - Lake Placid, FL
North Florida

Hough was a smooth operator on the mound. Working 77-80 T81 mph on a fastball from a challenging three-quarters slot. Showed good feel for the breaker, spinning it for strikes and missing bats. Punched out 3 over his 3 innings of work. He had a good workout as well, throwing 82 mph from the outfield and showing projectable actions at shortstop.
