2021 Top Prospects

Cameron Calvillo  SS - 2021 - Castro Valley, CA
Gonzaga

Calvillo showed off his athleticism and arm strength from the shortstop position, then jumped on the mound and ran his fastball up to 85 mph to go with a very good curveball. He uses his legs well at the dish to generate bat speed and power, driving the ball to the pull side part of the field with authority.

Diego Garcia  3B - 2021 - San Jose, CA
Uncommitted

Garcia is overall a good athlete and showed off good glove work during drills with a mature presence on the field and carry on strong and accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, he looked very relaxed and confident barreling the ball hard to the middle of the field.

Cameron Calomese  OF - 2021 - Danville, CA
Uncommitted

Calomese is an excellent athlete who showed projectable tools on both sides of the ball. He has strong actions in the outfield with a solid arm clocked up to 82 mph that produced low and accurate throws. Offensively, he has quick hands allowing him to whip the barrel through well and square the ball consistently out front.

2022 Top Prospects

Darrell Mays  OF - 2022 - Oakley, CA
Ohlone College

Mays was excellent in the outfield with arm strength clocked easily up to 83 mph and took what might have been the most impressive round of batting practice at the event. He's explosive through impact and very comfortably gets the barrel out front with lift at the contact point which allows him to drive the ball a long way to the pull side when he squares it.

Caden Wooster  RHP - 2022 - Oakland, CA
Santa Clara

Wooster stands at a physically imposing 6-7/230 and has good present tools in his game. There's undoubted strength in his swing as he works short to the ball with some lift and he was clocked up to 89 mph across the diamond from first base, but on the mound he works in the mid-80s with good feel for the slider and a workable changeup.

Dillon Goetz  RHP - 2022 - Redwood City, CA
Uncommitted

Goetz showed well in the infield with good hands and a strong arm across, while also getting some leverage from the left side at the dish, but impressed the most from his primary position on the mound where he was up to 86 mph with a quick arm and feel for a pair of quality secondary offerings.

Kai Price  RHP - 2022 - Santa Cruz, CA
Uncommitted

Price showed off his arm strength in the outfield with low and accurate bullets and then jumped on the mound and worked his fastball up to 85 mph. He hides the ball from a low three-quarter arm slot generating good life to the fastball and getting good late bite on his breaking ball. He also showed good strength with the bat driving the ball hard to all parts of the field.

Keith Shelton  C - 2022 - Sheridan, CA
Uncommitted

Shelton was excellent behind the plate during drills displaying a strong receiving hand and a quick transfer while popping down to a 1.95 down to second base. Offensively, he showed projectable bat speed and strength that produced good jump off the barrel.

Griffin Williams  SS - 2022 - Menlo Park, CA
Uncommitted

Williams once again showed a solid foundation of tools that project well as he continues to mature physically. He's a good athlete who moves around the infield well with a good internal clock while showing great upside on the offensive end with a long and loose swing that he can good impact into the air consistently with.

Ellias Rubio  OF - 2022 - Antioch, CA
Uncommitted

Rubio is a long and athletic outfielder who has the actions that project well defensively, but shows bigger upside on the offensive end where he whips the barrel very well with excellent present bat speed and is able to spray the field with a good bit of strength at just 5-11/170.

2023 Top Prospects

Tanner Donner  SS - 2023 - Parker, CO
Yavapai College

Donner came in as a talented in-game producer and showed tools that reflect that. He moves around the left side of the infield easily with good intent, while working on time and under control with a clean arm across. Offensively, he has good strength and length to go with an innate feel for the barrel that projects well as he uses his hands to get it out front more often.

Samuel Gomez  OF - 2023 - Napa, CA
Uncommitted

Gomez is another individual who took an excellent round of batting practice. He has some length to the path through the zone, but there is good feel for the barrel and a great deal of strength behind the swing which showed in his ability to drive the ball a long way to both the pull and back side.

Carl Rice  OF - 2023 - Pleasanton, CA
Uncommitted

Rice showed some of the best pure physicality at the event in his 6-1/205 frame, but is a solid athlete as well. He has a long and strong swing at the plate as he explodes hard through impact and gets a good bit of jump off the barrel when he's squaring it.

Trevor Young  RHP - 2023 - Bothell, WA
Uncommitted

Young is a highly projectable 6-2/160 right-hander who has some athletic components to his delivery. He works quick and controlled while showing good arm speed and good feel for a pair of secondaries, including a sharp vertical breaking ball, that complement the low-80s fastball well.

Dalen Tinsley  3B - 2023 - Suisun City, CA
Uncommitted

Tinsley is a versatile athlete defensively, but was best on the offensive end where he showed he could get the barrel head out and lean on some pitches with the physicality in his 6-0/195 frame to drive the ball hard to the pull side part of the field.

2024 Top Prospects

Trent Cornell  SS - 2024 - Eau Claire, WI
San Francisco

Cornell handles the shortstop position well for his age with some twitch to the actions and carries that quick-twitch profile over to the offensive end where he was excellent hand speed and explosiveness which allows him to drive the ball hard on a line to the middle of the field.
