Trent Cornell is a 2024 SS/MIF with a 5-9 183 lb. frame from Eau Claire, WI who attends Altoona. Medium frame with some present stocky strength to the build. Ran a 7.05 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows solid range to either side receiving with good hands and getting rid of it quickly from a short arm action that produces some carry across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide and balanced; shows very quick hands generating solid bat speed and explosiveness through the zone. Swings hard with good intent and shows strong impact to all parts of the field when he finds the barrel. Good student. Named to 2021 March Northern California Workout Camp Top Prospect List.
