2027 Top Prospects
Brayden Driscoll  LHP - 2027 - Redondo Beach, CA
Uncommitted

Driscoll established himself as one of the premier pitching performers of the group, turning in three impressive innings with seven strikeouts. The southpaw operates with a quick tempo and an aggressive mentality, consistently attacking the strike zone while showing the ability to miss bats with his entire arsenal. The heater worked in the upper 70s, topping at 82 mph, with some carry through the zone and occasional arm-side run. He showed advanced confidence in his changeup, a quality offering with fading action that he was comfortable deploying in virtually any count. A slurvy breaking ball rounded out the mix, giving him another weapon capable of generating empty swings. There's plenty to like about the overall pitchability and ability to sequence three offerings effectively.

Aidan Gogley  C - 2027 - Tustin, CA
Uncommitted

Gogley separated himself as the top catching prospect of the group, pairing standout defensive ability with some of the louder offensive impact on display. Behind the plate, he showed advanced catch-and-throw skills, producing an event-best 1.90-second pop time with efficient actions and quality arm strength. The offensive upside was equally encouraging, as he consistently drove the baseball with authority during batting practice and carried that production into gameplay. There's legitimate present strength in the profile with the potential to develop into a power-oriented backstop who brings value on both sides of the ball.

Andrew Martin  RHP - 2027 - Glendora, CA
Uncommitted

Martin offered one of the more appealing long-term pitching profiles of the weekend, standing at an imposing 6-foot-6, 205 pounds with plenty of room to continue developing. Despite the extra-large frame, he moves down the mound with impressive ease, generating above-average extension without having to manufacture much effort. His fastball climbed into the mid 80s with traditional four-seam shape, and there's reason to believe additional velocity could be on the way given the physical ingredients and ease of operation. He also demonstrated the ability to create quality depth and separation with his changeup while showing feel to spin a bigger, 12-to-6 breaking ball.

Kainoa Sturm  RHP - 2027 - Redondo Beach, CA
Uncommitted

Sturm flashed some promising ingredients during his two innings on the mound, collecting three strikeouts while showcasing a well-rounded three-pitch mix. He works with a balanced, repeatable delivery that allows him to get down the slope consistently and maintain his stuff. The fastball reached 85 mph and showed flashes of quality riding life through the zone. His slider featured distinct sweeping action, giving him a different look horizontally, while the splitter stood out for his ability to kill spin and generate late depth. There's a solid foundation here with some encouraging pitch characteristics that could continue to develop as he matures.

2028 Top Prospects
Joshua Johnson  OF - 2028 - Bakersfield, CA
Uncommitted

Johnson checked plenty of boxes throughout the weekend, showcasing an impressive collection of athleticism, strength and two-way ability. He opened with a 7.07-second 60-yard dash before moving comfortably through both the outfield and infield workouts, where his athletic actions allowed him to access his arm strength with ease. At the plate, he displayed a powerful, uphill stroke with clear intent to get the barrel out front and drive the baseball with authority. His most impressive work came on the mound, where he turned in a dominant outing behind a fastball that reached 88 mph and featured legitimate carry through the zone. He paired it with two sharp breaking balls that gave hitters different looks while also flashing feel for a changeup. A strong overall showing with plenty of tools to build upon.

Isaac Elizondo  SS - 2028 - Camarillo, CA
Uncommitted

Elizondo emerged as a favorite among our staff, putting together one of the more complete workouts of the weekend with an impressive combination of athleticism, defensive polish and offensive ability. He started things off with a 6.93-second 60-yard dash before delivering one of the cleanest infield showings of the event. His footwork and glove actions were particularly impressive, displaying the coordination, body control and overall defensive instincts that should allow him to remain on the dirt long term. The switch-hitting ability adds another layer of appeal, as he showed a fluid stroke from both sides with quick hands and an ability to work the barrel on an uphill path. He drove several balls with authority during batting practice and carried that same quality of contact into gameplay. A well-rounded prospect with a lot of ingredients to be bullish on moving forward.

Robbie Worms  OF - 2028 - San Diego, CA
Uncommitted

Worms stood out as one of the better athletes in attendance, opening his workout with a 6.89-second 60-yard dash that ranked among the stronger times of the group. His outfield actions are still developing, but he showed clean hands and the ability to get off accurate throws with average present arm strength. There's some rawness to the offensive operation as well, with an aggressive, intent-driven swing that can lose barrel control through the turn. However, the strength and impact potential are evident, and he provided a glimpse of that during gameplay when he drove a ball deep over the center fielder's head for a triple.

2029 Top Prospects
Kade Monica  RHP - 2029 - Simi Valley, CA

Monica was another two-way performer who made his presence felt throughout the weekend, particularly with his work on the mound. Defensively, he showed sound fundamentals on the dirt, fielding each ground ball cleanly despite some stab to his glove actions. At the plate, he employed a short-to-long stroke with developing impact and an encouraging feel for finding the barrel. His loudest showing came on the bump, where he punched out eight across three dominant innings. There’s athleticism to the delivery with a loose, quick arm that produced a fastball up to 84 mph. He complemented it with a sweeping breaking ball that proved to be a legitimate swing-and-miss weapon, generating plenty of chase outside the zone.

Nicolas Petrone  RHP - 2029 - Clayton, CA

Petrone put together a well-rounded two-way showing, displaying a quality blend of skill and athleticism throughout the workout. On the dirt, he showed natural feel for his glove actions working to both sides, pairing clean defensive movements with arm strength in the low 80s across the diamond. Offensively, there’s present strength and impact potential with an aggressive approach geared toward catching the ball out front and doing damage. He later jumped on the mound during gameplay, running his heater into the mid 80s while mixing in an upper-60s sweeper that he demonstrated the ability to land for strikes.

Alec Leon  2B - 2029 - San Ysidro, CA

Leon was among the more athletic underclass prospects in attendance, with a collection of defensive and offensive traits that make him a name worth following. His athleticism translates naturally to the dirt, where he plays with light feet, covers ground comfortably in either direction and shows soft, confident glove actions while coming in on the baseball. There are also plenty of components to buy into offensively, starting with a compact, direct entry into the hitting zone that allows him to turn the barrel tightly before creating length through contact. He finishes high and gets the barrel working on a quality path, giving him a functional swing foundation with room for additional impact as he continues to develop physically.
