Carter Pedersen  RHP - 2030 - Austin, TX

Really impressed off the bump working up to 82 with his fastball with heavy arm side run from a quick arm. Showed a slider with promising 2-plane bite. Projectable frame and velo should tick up. Also produced an exit velo of 85.

Ethan Cisneros  SS - 2030 - Midland, TX

Strong showing both sides of the ball. Showed a ton of upside off the mound working up to 80 with fastball and could spin it. Was 81 from the outfield and 80 from infield. Also had a strong round of BP impacting the baseball.

Jace Cardinal  1B - 2030 - Lubbock, TX

Showed well on both sides of the ball throughout the weekend. Fastball worked up to 79 with life. Was up to 79 from infield workouts and 77 from first base with actions on the dirt. Also produced an exit velo of 82 and had a good round of BP.

Connor Janysek  C - 2030 - Poth, TX

Really strong showing in workouts and in game action on both sides of the ball. Fluid actions on the dirt and easy mover. Was up to 77 from infield workouts and 80 from the outfield. Also recorded a 1.91 pop time. Was on the barrel often throughout BP and carried that over in game action; hitting a lot. Good feel for the barrel was on full display.

2031 Top Prospects
Brian Wesley  LHP - 2031 - Desoto, TX

Showed a lot to like as a lefty off the bump. Worked up to 76 with fastball and could land curve. Uber projectable 6-2 frame with room to fill out with added strength. Velo should trend up and plenty to unlock.

Foster Jakovich  RHP - 2031 - San Marcos, TX

With a strong showing on both sides of the ball. Hit in BP and in game showing good bat speed and impact off the barrel. Worked up to 75 with fastball from a repeatable delivery. Was also up to 73 from first and showed good comfort and actions around the bag.

Johnathan Garcia  LHP - 2031 - Rio Rancho, NM

Was on the barrel often throughout his round of BP and showed a smooth lefty swing with good feel for it in the box. Also produced an exit velo of 80. Curve showed a lot of promise off the bump as well getting upwards of 2300 RPM.
