He ran an event best 6.84 sixty, recorded accurate throws up to 84 mph during outfield drills and showcased a simple line drive stroke with budding power during BP. On the mound, he ran it up to 82 MPH with ride through the zone. He paired it with two distinct breaking balls with good traits and shape. He finished his arsenal with a well-replicated changeup that he killed spin on well.

Darling is an immensely projectable prospect with sky high upside. He recorded a 7.12 sixty, showcased a loose, leveraged stroke with power upside. Defensively, he showed smooth actions in the grass, while producing accurate throws with developing arm strength up to 78 mph.
