Douglas provided plenty of value on both sides of the field this weekend, starting on the mound where the 6-foot-1, 191 pound righty displayed a controlled and repeatable operation ultimately topping out at 83 mph. He touched 86 mph across the diamond and also provided value on the offensive end, flashing present bat speed with consistent loud impact to the pull side of the field, posting an exit velo of 89 mph.
Miller showcased intriguing tools as a two-way prospect on the event, topping out at 81 mph on the mound as a primary RHP while also touching 84 from the OF and 83 mph across the diamond. The 6-foot-4, 185 pound prospect flashed feel for spin in the arsenal, registering a vertically shaped breaker at 2246 rpm. He displayed clear strength in the hands offensively and impacted the baseball to the middle of the field, posting an exit velo of 89 mph.
Davis put on of the more impressive displays of power during his round of BP and consistently flashed plenty to like offensively, generating carry to all fields with clear jump off the barrel. The 6-foot-2, 215 pound prospect incorporates the lower half effectively and posted an exit velo of 96 mph.
Hicks was a defensive standout in the OF, displaying natural, athletic actions with a clean arm path that saw throws up to 82 mph. There's plenty of room for additional arm strength to develop in a projectable frame currently standing at 5-foot-10, 140 pounds.
