2029 Top Prospects
Josh Stowers  RHP - 2029 - Alum Creek, WV

Stowers looked strong on the mound in simulated games, running the fastball up to 80 mph while showing confidence turning over the changeup to both handed hitters. Along with looking strong on the mound, he showed good athletic tools that translated in the infield workout with athletic actions and a real bounce to the first step. He was also on the barrel throughout the round of batting practice as well.

Thiers Voskuhl  RHP - 2029 - Lexington, KY

Voskuhl really shined on the mound in the simulated game actoin. He has a real looseness to the arm and works down the mound with athletic movements. The fastball worked in the mid-70s and that should only continue trending up in the coming years. It was a heavy fastball diet but he flashed some big raw spin numbers on the breaking ball, up into the 2500 RPM range on the low-60s hook.

2030 Top Prospects
John Benson  OF - 2030 - Lexington, KY

Benson ran one of the quicker 60's to kick off the day, posting a 7.01. He then jumped on the mound and worked comfortably in the mid-70s with natural cutting action to the fastball. He also showed similar arm strength in the outfield, recording throws up to 77 mph.

Andrew Heuckroth  SS - 2030 - Lexington, KY

Heuckroth strung together one of the better rounds of BP throughout the day in the Prospect Gateway. He was on the barrel a decent amount and showed good feel matching plane and played pepper with the back of the cage. He also showed clean hands on the infield workout with feel to change arm angles and a solid internal clock getting the ball across.

Keagan Shane  C - 2030 - Bardstown, KY

Shane was one of the better catcher workouts for the younger group as he showed easy arm strength with carry to the bag. He's athletic out of the crouch and gains plenty of ground. He also showed fundamental actions in the infield workout along with stringing together a solid round of batting practice as well.

2031 Top Prospects
Luke Powell  LHP - 2031 - Louisville, KY

Powell showed real promise as a young left-handed arm, running the fastball into the low-70s with a real feel to spin the baseball already. It's advanced spin numbers on the breaking ball as he routinely got it into the 2500 RPM range with feel to land it in zone. He should continue growing into more velocity and will be a name to monitor in the region in the '31 class.

Haiden Blackburn  SS - 2031 - Paintsville, KY

Blackburn was an arm that really stood out in simulated games and for such a young pitcher, has a real understanding of mechanics. It's extremely simple working down the slope and showed easy arm speed, working the fastball in the mid-70s. He has three pitches that he can throw for strikes and also put together a solid round of infield as well.

Ryker Nantz  RHP - 2031 - Newburgh, IN

Nantz stands out physically at 6-foot-2, 150-pounds with plenty of room to continue adding on strength in the coming years. He has plenty of time to do so and is already showing a bunch to like. He showed good defensive versatility, was on the barrel a good amount in the round of BP and also showed upside on the mound running it into the mid-70s with a true downer CB at 60 mph.
