2029 Top Prospects
Tucker Pelser  C - 2029 - Marysville, WA

Pelser displayed quality actions in both the INF and behind the plate and showed some offensive upside. Developing footwork but clean glove actions and an above avg. arm across. Behind the plate, flashes of quickness out the crouch and got off downhill accurate throws to the bag. At the plate, it's a longer swing but showed some strength at impact, especially through the middle of the field.

2030 Top Prospects
Ronan Wu  SS - 2030 - Olympia, WA

Wu was another player who put together a complete two-way workout. Athletic actions in the INF where the feet work quick and light to the baseball with sure hands and an accurate arm. At the plate, his hands worked inside it well with quickness producing quality contact through the middle of the field. On the mound, it's a repeatable operation down the mound where he ran his fastball into the low 70s and mixed in an effective changeup.

Trajan Kaplan-Thompson  C - 2030 - Kent, WA

Trajan was one of the better athletes of the group. Ran a solid 4.94 40-yd dash. Worked through the baseball with aggressive intent and got off strong and accurate throws (79 mph). It's developing actions behind the plate but showed quickness out the crouch and a decent exchange. At the plate, the hand speed was noticeable in throwing the bat on a shorter path where he found several barrels through the middle of the field.

Graham Bugbee  SS - 2030 - Seattle, WA

Bugbee was one of the more impressive two-ways of the gateway group. Proper fundamentals with clean glove actions from both the INF and OF. Was on-barrel a ton during BP, showing off a balanced swing on an uphill path with decent bat speed and leverage. On the mound, displayed sound mechanics and a loose arm that ran the heater up to 77 while mixing in secondaries he had feel to land.

Tiernan Barron  C - 2030 - West Linn, OR

Tiernan put together a solid position player workout but showed upside on the mound. Showed glove skill in the INF and a quality compact exchange behind the plate. Flashes of strength and quickness to the hands at the plate where he impacted a few baseballs during BP. On the mound is where he showed athleticism and strike throwing ability. Ran it up to 74 and mixed in two solid secondary options.

Luke Hopwood  MIF - 2030 - Renton, WA

Hopwood showed well in the INF and OF and got off a ton of strong hacks during BP. Showed light feet that play through the baseball well from both spots with an accurate arm. At the plate, used a simple and balanced swing that impacted balls into the gaps with decent strength.

Boden Miller  1B - 2030 - Bonney Lake, WA

Miller had one of the better defensive rounds at 1B. Good feet around the bag and got off quick and accurate DP feeds. At the plate, flashed some whip to the barrel where he impacted it well through the middle of the field. Showed an athletic operation down the mound as well where he ran his fastball into the low 70s, T73 and mixed in two effective secondaries in a CB and SPLT.

Beckham Sizemore  OF - 2030 - Seattle, WA

Sizemore showed athleticism and projection in everything he did. Worked low to the ground with quickness and clean glove actions in the OF. At the plate, it's a short and compact LH stroke that worked level into contact producing low liners during his round. On the mound, it's a clean operation down the mound where his fastball came out easy in the low 70s while showing an ability to land the breaker for strikes.
