2020 Top Prospects

Andrew Dusablon  RHP - 2020 - Palmdale, CA
Virginia Tech

Dusablon has a young 6-4/180 build and a whippy right arm that produced a fastball that topped out at 90 mph with some nice late running life at times. Improving his secondary pitches will be key to his success at the next level.


2021 Top Prospects

Konrad Bohnert  SS - 2021 - Carlsbad, CA
San Diego State

Bohnert is a primary shortstop with plenty of tools both offensively and defensively to be solid at that position at the next level, as he's committed to San Diego State. But he was even more impressive on the mound, with a 87-90 mph fastball that really projects to go with a power slider that is close to being a plus present pitch right now.

Chase Valentine  SS - 2021 - Phoenix, AZ
Tennessee/Central Arizona CC

What Valentine lacks in size at 5-10/150 he more than makes up for with athleticism and skills. He has outstanding defensive actions in the middle infield to go with some surprising pop in his bat. He'll have a chance to contribute right away at Texas A&M.

Daniel McElveny  SS - 2021 - Chula Vista, CA
San Diego State

McElveny has a plus combination of tools across the board. The 6-0/190 right handed hitter has bat speed and power at the plate, big arm strength from both the infield and outfield and even ran a 6.81 sixty. He's committed to San Diego State.

Isaiah Pruitt  OF - 2021 - Lancaster, CA
Uncommitted

Pruitt is a projectable 6-2/175 uncommitted senior with very good athleticism to go with a plus outfield throwing arm and plenty of right handed bat speed.

Jace Avina  OF - 2021 - Sparks, NV
Nevada

Avina is a pretty tooled up athlete who is committed to stay in his home state and play for Nevada. He ran a 6.85 sixty whole showing big 93 mph arm strength from the outfield. The right handed hitter also laced multiple 90+ mph exit velocity hits in the games.

Austin Puett  RHP - 2021 - Acton, CA
Grand Canyon

Puett is a big and strong 6-4/210 uncommitted right-hander with a big 90 mph fastball from a high 3/4's to over the top arm slot that gets frequent cutting action. He'll keep improving with continued development of his slider and curveball.

Justin Smith  RHP - 2021 - Las Vegas, NV

Smith is an uncommitted senior who definitely has the talent to pitch at the next level. He worked in the 83-86 mph range for four innings while throwing plenty of fastball strikes and also showed a 74 mph breaking ball that flashed big tilt and depth.

Zack Bauer  RHP - 2021 - Covina, CA

Bauer is another uncommitted senior right hander with next level talent. He has a strong and mature 6-2/200 build and worked in the 84-87 mph range for his entire outing while showing depth to his curveball.


2022 Top Prospects

Karson Bowen  C - 2022 - Anaheim Hills, CA
TCU

Along with being one of the strongest players at the event, Bowen is also an extremely polished defensive catcher who can control the game with his skills while also showing big tools. He's committed to Texas Christian.

Caiden Wilson  RHP - 2022 - Pasadena, TX
Ranger College

Wilson has a strong right handed bat at the plate with plenty of offensive potential but he might have a higher ceiling on the mound. He has a very sound low effort delivery that produced an 86-90 mph fastball to go with a nice sharp slider that reached 80 mph.

Prince Deboskie  OF - 2022 - Chandler, AZ
Central Arizona CC

DeBoskie is a very good athlete with lots of quick twitch in his game. He's a 6.65 runner in the sixty with sound outfield tools/skills and shows bat speed at the plate.

Gabriel Watson  RHP - 2022 - Hewitt, TX
Amarillo College

Watson is a quick twitch athlete with some strength who can do lots of things on the baseball field. He has big arm strength with a 94 mph OF velocity to go with an 88 mph fastball on the mound, runs a 6.79 sixty and an aggressive right handed swing with bat speed at the plate.

Tate Shimao  SS - 2022 - Honolulu, HI
Southern California

We've seen Shimao frequently this summer and fall and are always impressed with his overall athleticism, speed and quick hands at the plate. The Hawaii native is a Division I level uncommitted ball player who always performs.

Sebastian Edwards  RHP - 2022 - Lincoln, CA
Sacramento State

Edwards is a Sacramento State commit with a big and strong 6-4/210 body and outstanding pitching mechanics on the mound. He topped out at 87 mph, with more there in the future, and threw a solid slider as his secondary pitch.

Shai Robinson  SS - 2022 - Olympia Fields, IL
Illinois State

Robinson is a smooth and projectable athlete who really stood out on defense in the middle infield. The Illinois State commit has snatchy quick hands and mature footwork and actions that will keep improving with repetitions and more strength.


2023 Top Prospects

Grant Smith  RHP - 2023 - Phoenix, AZ
Arizona State

Smith is a young athlete who hasn't even turned 15 years old yet but has very high ceiling potential on the mound. He topped out at 90 mph with a very loose arm action from a low effort delivery that enabled him to fill up the strike zone while also showing a promising true slider. Smith is also a quality athlete already, running a 6.8 sixty at 6-3/200.

Will Matuszak  SS - 2023 - Los Angeles, CA
UC Santa Barbara

Matuszak has outstanding actions in the middle infield on defense and already has the ability to play the position at the next level. He showed some real pop and bat speed for a young right handed hitter as well.

Zachary Justice  C - 2023 - Bend, OR
Oregon

Justice is an Oregon commit who really stands out for his defensive tools and skills behind the plate. He has present arm strength to go with mature receiving skills and footwork for a sophomore.

Paxton Fenberg  RHP - 2023 - Kirkland, WA
Gonzaga

Fenberg's big present tool is his arm strength. The Washington native threw 91 mph from the infield and 86 mph from mound and has strength and projectability in his athletic 5-11/170 frame.

Jackson Kemmerer  OF - 2023 - Trabuco Canyon, CA
Nevada

Kemmerer's best tool is his speed, as he ran an event best 6.59 sixty. With a strong arm from the outfield, he has a chance to become an impact defensive centerfielder in the future.
