2023 Top Prospects

Easton Shelton  1B - 2023 - Las Vegas, NV
UNLV

Shelton's skillset stood out in a big way throughout the weekend in every facet of his game. Physically advanced, Shelton moves well on his feet and shows a strong arm as well as some of the best bat speed on the weekend with loose wrists and whip to the barrel.

Sean York  RHP - 2023 - Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Long Beach State

York demands the hitter's attention when he gets to the mound as he already stands at 6-foot-5, 215-pounds. Despite his size York showed coordination and balance on the mound while running his fastball up to 79 mph, missing plenty of bats along the way. He also used his strength well offensively to impact the ball during BP.

2024 Top Prospects

JJ Moran  SS - 2024 - Carlsbad, CA
Stanford

Moran showed off all of his tools throughout the weekend, running a 7.20 in the 60-yard while also also performing well defensively with balanced actions, soft hands and carry on his throws across. He possesses present quickness to his righthanded swing, looking to lift at the point of contact and shows carry off the barrel when squared.

Noah Andersen  RHP - 2024 - Glendale, AZ
Phoenix College

Andersen impressed during his time on the mound, sitting regularly in the mid-70s while topping out at 78 mph. He showed nice quickness to his arm and generating life to his fastball and bite to his curveball. He also showed some looseness and carry off the barrel from the left side, both in BP and live action.

Ford Puplava  OF - 2024 - Scottsdale, AZ
Uncommitted

A young Arizona native, Puplava has an array of tools that project well as he continues to mature, showing athleticism all over the diamond as well as arm strength that stood out over the weekend. At the plate he did a nice job of generating quickness to his hands and barrel, impacting the ball to the left-center gap and like his other tools, projects very well with added strength.
