2028 Top Prospects
Damion Goode  C - 2028 - Houston, TX

Goode was one of the better overall performers where he stood out defensively, offensively and on the mound. He worked out in the OF, INF and behind the plate and showed skill at all spots with quality arm strength as well. At the plate, it looks like a future middle of the order bat flashing present/future impact especially to the pull side. Pitching wise, it was an athletic operation down the mound with a loose/fast arm that ran the fastball into the upper 70s while mixing in a sharp low 70s breaker.

2029 Top Prospects
Brody Cook  C - 2029 - Omaha, NE

Cook was a standout defensive catcher of this gateway group while also being one of the faster players (4.03 30-yd) and top bats. Behind the plate, he was tied for an event best 1.97 pop time showing a quick exchange and an above avg. arm for his level (75 mph). Offensively, he showed noticeable strength and big intent to each swing which translated to several loud barrels to the pullside which translated into live ABs as well.

Logan Hurn  OF - 2029 - Neosho, MO

Hurn was an easy favorite at the plate both during BP and live ABs while also showing speed (3.87 30-yd), solid defensive skill and pitching ability. It’s an athletic LH swing with easy balance and barrel feel where he pounded LDs to all fields. In the OF, showed athleticism to his actions with a quality arm that got off accurate/downhill throws to the bag. On the mound, that athleticism translated with his delivery. Got the FB up into the mid 70s and flashed a developing low 60s breaker.

Noah Keifer  SS - 2029 - Fort Smith, AR

Keifer showed quality athleticism running a solid 4.10 30-yd dash while also displaying good skill at the plate and on the mound. Simple stroke showing a direct barrel path with some leverage at the impact. Contact stayed through the middle of the field with flashes of some above avg. bat/hand speed. On the pitching side, it was a clean delivery with a fast arm that worked to a lower ¾ slot that led to some running action on his upper 70s, T79 fastball. Mixed in a developing sweeping SL and spin killing CH.

Landon Nickell  LHP - 2029 - Lees Summit, MO

Nickell displayed a ton of upside on the mound. A tall/slender frame that moves athletically down the mound with a loose and fast arm that worked the FB into the upper 70s, T80. Also showed some ability to spin it for strikes along with a quality depthy changeup. The arm also played from the OF while also flashing some ability with the bat where he found barrels both in BP and during live ABs.

Shane Wells  1B - 2029 - St Louis, MO

Wells’ strength translated to both arm talent and impact at the plate with flashes of athleticism defensively showing well at multiple positions. At the plate, he swung it with intent, getting extended and crushing balls in the air to the middle-pullside. Was also a decent mover down the mound with a quick arm. His fastball got up to 80 which showed some natural cutting action while mixing in an effective 11-5 breaker.

Nolan Clark  RHP - 2029 - San Diego, CA

Clark was solid during his position player workout, showing quality defensive actions and flashes of some bat speed at the plate, but he really stood out on the mound. Strong operation down the mound with a compact arm stroke that ran the fastball up to 80 that had some subtle running action which he paired with a breaking ball that exhibited some late depth.

Chase Wisdom  SS - 2029 - Liberty, MO

Wisdom found himself near the top of a couple of leaderboards, running the 3rd best 30-yd dash (4.07) along with showing one of the better arms (78 OF, 77 INF). At the plate, he flashed a fast bat which translated to some quality pullside barrels. On the mound, he displayed a clean repeatable operation down the mound. FB worked in the low 70s, T74 that had some natural cut to it. Mixed in a developing 10-4 breaker and depthy changeup.

2030 Top Prospects
Bijan Kamerzell  RHP - 2030 - Overland Park, KS

Kamerzell was one of the better arms and impact bats we saw this past weekend. Flashes of above avg. armspeed within a clean arm action which helped run his fastball up to 81 that had some running life to it. Mixed in a developing upper 60s slider as well which he showed strong feel for. At the plate, he swung it with intent, producing hard contact through the gaps.
