IMPORTANT: Schedules are NOT FINALIZED until the final schedule email has been sent. Please do not make plans based on the brackets until you receive that email. Some age groups still have teams playing at other parks, while all remaining games at Heritage Park have been canceled for the day. Affected brackets will follow the Perfect Game SEC rainout seeding policy. Brackets will be updated after all remaining games at the other complexes have been completed. PERFECT GAME SEC – INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES Bracket Placement • 2-0 and 1-0 Teams: Placement will follow pool standings, with all 2-0 teams seeded ahead of 1-0 teams. • 1-0-1 Teams: A 1-0-1 team will always be seeded ahead of a 1-1 team. • 1-1 Teams: A 1-1 team will always be seeded ahead of any team without a win (0-1 or 0-2) and any team with no games played (0-0). • 0-0-1 Teams: A 0-0-1 team will always be seeded ahead of 0-1 and 0-2 teams. • 0-2 and 0-1 Teams: Placement will be determined first by average runs allowed and then by average runs scored. • 0-0 Teams: Placement will be based on the team’s current-year winning percentage. A 0-0 team cannot be seeded ahead of an undefeated team, regardless of winning percentage. A 0-0 team will be seeded ahead of any 0-1 or 0-2 team in the tournament. If two or more teams have the same winning percentage, a coin flip will determine seeding. • Tie vs. Loss Rule: A team with a tie will always be seeded ahead of a team with a loss, regardless of other factors. TOURNAMENT CREDIT POLICY 3-Game Guarantee • No games played: 100% credit of the entry fee • 1 game played: 66% credit of the entry fee • 2 games played: 33% credit of the entry fee • 3 games played: No credit—the guarantee has been fulfilled Thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete the remaining games and update Sunday’s brackets.
