5/12/2024

William "Cohen" Tyre (2027 SS, Jesup, GA)- Nationally ranked and easy to see why, athletic with a good body and has made good strides since this time last year. Got on the mound and ran it up to 84-mph, collected a few hits in game and tested out well metrically across the board. Continue to keep an eye on Tyre.

Aaron Bailey (2026 3B, McCalla, AL)- Big bomb off the shed in left-field for Bailey in this one, crushing a lower half fastball and just touching off on one. Strong two-way prospect showed off extremely well on both sides of the ball, making for an interesting follow over the coming years here.

Douglas Sample (2027 OF, McDonough, GA)- Little inside the park homerun from Sample in this one off the back of a solid barrel. Got on the slope and ran it up to 80-mph as well.

Carson Sosebee (2027 C, Dawsonville, GA)- Did nothing but hit this weekend, collecting multiple hits across all games of the single and extra base variety. Strong prospect with a good handle of the stick and can use all fields with no issue, real hitting traits to project on here long term and should be a name to pencil in for this '27 class.

Nicholas Youngblood (2025 C, Pinson, AL)- Hitterish is the best way to describe him... four hits on the weekend and none of them were cheap. Consistent barreled up contact, worked all fields and collected three extra base hits in the gaps. Hit tool is real and it showed in game... athlete to follow that picked up some steam on the recruiting trail after this performance here.
