Sunday Game Highlights

6/7/2023

Kaden Crane (2024 OF, Memphis, TN) was seeing the ball extremely well in today, as he finished a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate. In his first at bat, he fought off a tough pitch on the hands and went the other way with it, sneaking one down the left field line for a double. He also made a heck-of-a-play in left field, covering a lot of ground and catching a fly ball on the run to save an extra base hit.

Nolan Ramoley (2026 OF, Palos Park, IL) capped off an impressive Showcase performance with a good look on the mound in this one. The right-hander has a clean delivery delivery with definite arm speed, and he ran his fastball up to 82 mph. The arm speed and ease of operation project very well moving forward, and there is certainly more there to unlock. He also collected a well-struck single into left field at the plate.

Bradley Stubbs (2026 RHP, Collierville, TN) seemed to hit the ball hard in each of his at-bats today, and he was rewarded with a 3-for-3 stat line. In his second at-bat of the day, he smoked a line drive down the left field line for an RBI double. He would then follow it up by hammering another one into left field for a single. The right-handed hitter proved that he can make sharp contact to his pull side when on time and squared.

Gabriel Lewis (2024 OF, Merigold, MS) proved to be a defensive asset in the outfield in this one, and he certainly looked the part of an everyday centerfielder. He covered a ton of ground out there, making a couple of excellent plays, and making them look easy in the process. He is a fluid and effortless runner, and he gets good reads/jumps off the bat. The left-handed hitter would also add a hard-hit single up the middle to boot.

Kannon Ring (2026 C, Paragould, AR) put together a solid showing behind the dish, making multiple throws on the money to second base, and doing a good job of keeping the ball in front of him. Not only does the rising sophomore have a strong arm, but he also shows advanced receiving and blocking skills. He showed some upside at the plate as well, where he collected a couple of singles and an RBI.
