5-Green vs. 4-Purple Game Highlights

Owen Beatrice (2026 2B, New Brighton, PA) found a loud barrel early in the with a single up the middle. Easy, simple cut firing the barrel through the zone with authority. 

Cole Van Ameyde (2025 SS, Lake Orion, MI) sat back on a breaking ball and ripped it back up the middle. Sees spin early and goes after the baseball with intent. 

Jace Pittser (2026 RHP, Clarksville, OH) ripped a double into the right-center gap during the action. Doesn't try to over power the baseball and drives it where pitched, proving to have a mature approach. 

Kyle Binder (2024 SS, West Chester, OH) was dominant on the mound during his outing. Fastball up to 78 mph while punching out two on just one hit. Also picked up a base knock during the game.

8/7/2022

Cash Van Ameyde (2025 OF, Lake Orion, MI) had a solid outing on the hill as the southpaw struck out five on no hits in three innings of work. Fastball up to 79 mph. Also mixed in a breaking ball and changeup that he landed for strikes. 

Adam Czarnik (2025 RHP, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI) got the bat head out front and smoked a double down the leftfield line. Has found a bunch of barrels on the week and is seeing the baseball well at the plate. 

Kenyon Miller (2025 OF, Toledo, OH) proved to have some two-way upside. Drove a single to rightfield in the box and was also up to 80 mph on the mound. Athletic in all facets of the game. 

4-Green vs. 3-Black Game Highlights

8/7/2022

Connor Davis (2025 OF, Cincinnati, OH) found a loud barrel early in the action. Smoked a base hit to the pull-side while knocking in an rbi. Strength in hands and has some thump in the bat. 

Ben Veletean (2026 SS, Lebanon, OH) took an outer half pitch and flicked it down the rightfield line for a double. Well-rounded cut doing a good job covering the entire dish. 

Noah Collier (2023 SS, Cincinnati, OH) has impressed in a big way in the box. Violent cut from the left-handed hitter. Tripled down the rightfield line during the action to cap off a strong showing.

Batting Practice Highlights

8/6/2022

Roman Furuta (2023 SS, Union, KY) took some violent cuts and proved he could generate easy power. Short to and long through it as he flashed power into the gaps. 

Davis Johnson (2023 SS, Mount Sterling, KY) took a mature round of batting practice. Delivered the barrel on time and stung the baseball when he squared it up. Drove it on a line with every cut and took one of the best rounds of the day. 

Will Schirmer (2025 MIF, Mason, OH) flashed a short cut as he stayed direct to the baseball. Total barrel control as he sprayed it on a line to all fields showing feel for the swing. 

Evan Scott (2024 RHP, Liberty Township, OH) utilized his strength in the box with a fluid cut. Impacted out front and drove it deep to the middle of the park. Power projection in the box. 

Tate Queen (2025 1B, Portsmouth, OH) proved to have natural loft to the swing while finding the barrel often. Also showcased the power to the pull-side during the round. 

Charlie Scholvin (2023 SS, Galena, OH) worked into a hanging leg lift to stride before firing the bat head through the zone. Athletic in the swing and found some really loud barrels. 

Luke Vingren (2023 RHP, Bonn, NW) didn’t get cheated as he took some big hacks in the box. Middle of the field power present when he timed it up properly. 

Gavin McBeath (2023 3B, Indianapolis, IN) took one of the more impressive rounds as he found a loud barrel with every cut. Does a good job using the lower half strength as he drove the baseball with authority to the middle of the field. 

Connor Barber (2024 3B, Toledo, OH) peppered the middle of the field with line drives. Short to the baseball and knows how to generate backspin. Barrel accuracy being the name of his game. 

John Baumel (2024 RHP, Dublin, OH) staying compact in the cut as he works through the zone with a linear path. Loud end of the round proving to have some power in the swing as well. 

Max Dunaway (2023 SS, Tipp City, OH) had a quick set of hands as he whipped the barrel through the zone. Scattered line drives into the middle of the field and also had some pull-side pop when he got it out front. 

Charlie Hall (2023 LHP, Cincinnati, OH) leveraged the baseball and drove it deep. Pretty left-handed cut being guided with a solid set of hands. Played peppered with the gaps. 

Ben Veletean (2026 SS, Lebanon, OH) longer cut while impacting with some thump. Heaviness to the hands as the baseball jumped off the barrel. Power projection. 

Joey Heenan (2024 1B, Mason, OH) taking some violent cuts as he looked to drive it as far as possible. Succeeded multiple times with loud, deep fly balls to the middle of the field. 

Nehemiah Toles (2025 OF, Canton, OH) fires the hands early and gets the bat head out front. Impacting to the pull-side while showing off some pop in the swing. Athletic cut. 

Seth Ellis (2024 1B, Loveland, OH) juice in the swing present with a controlled, vicious cut. Ambushed the baseball and drove it deep into the middle of the field. 

Rodney Rachel (2023 OF, Cincinati, OH) was simple in the cut as he threw the hands through the zone. Really loud barrels when he timed it up properly. Gap to gap type pop. 

Chase Van Ameyde (2024 SS, Lake Orion, MI) went after it with intent during his round. Pop in the swing when he finds the barrel and has a power projection going forward. 


6-Red vs. 7-Royal Game Highlights

8/6/2022

Davis Johnson (2023 SS, Mount Sterling, KY) took a firm outer half fastball and smoked it into the right-center gap for a standup double. Short, simple cut delivering the bat head on time consistently. 

Carter Sellers (2025 LHP, Maineville, OH) is a projectable southpaw who had a solid outing on the mound. Fastball up to 84 mph while sitting low-80's. Also mixed in a solid breaking ball in mid-60's. Struck out three in two innings of work. 

Gabe Fouch (2024 RHP, Leesburg, OH) proved to have some two-way upside. Fastball up to 85 mph on the mound with a lively arm. Also tripled during the action at the plate. Athleticism plays here in all facets of the game. 

 

3-Black Vs. 5-Purple Game Highlights

8/6/2022

Connor Barber (2024 3B, Toledo, OH) barreled up a solid line drive single at the plate today. Then showed some ability on the mound throwing two innings with a fastball and knuckleball. 

John Baumel (2024 RHP, Dublin, OH) swung the bat well all day today. And had the highlight at-bat of the showcase when he launched an opposite field home run over the high wall in left field. Showing some true all fields pop at the plate. 

Connor Davis (2025 OF, Cincinnati, OH) hit an opposite field triple on a line drive to the right centerfield gap. Swung the bat well with some feel for the barrel today. 

Charlie Hall (2023 LHP, Cincinnati, OH) showed some intriguing ability as a LHP today. Up to 85 on the mound with feel for a change up and breaking ball. Missed bats, kept hitters off balance and showed some next level ability today.

4-Green Vs. 5-Purple Game Highlights

8/6/2022

Zane Stahl (2025 RHP, Spring Lake, MI) dominant performance on the mound today with three perfect innings, striking out six. The 6-6 right hander got the fastball up to 88 today, showed two distinct breaking balls and the feel for a change up.

Chase Van Ameyde (2024 SS, Lake Orion, MI) up to 89 with the fastball on the mound today with a slider in the low 70's. Intriguing ability to change arm slots on the mound and still throw strikes. A lot to like as a potential 2-way player at the college level. 

Dylan Toler (2023 OF, Sellersburg, IN) got to the barrel for an opposite field RBI double to the gap today. Handled upper 80's velocity and showed some ability to really impact the baseball. 

Kyle Binder (2024 SS, West Chester, OH) an athletic middle infielder that showed the ability to handle the bat well today. Collecting two hits in game including an opposite field double. Has some real feel for the barrel at the plate.


Owen Beatrice (2026 2B, New Brighton, PA) one of the youngest players in game today, collected two hits, showed some bat control at the plate and some polished all fields hitting ability while facing some quality pitching.

 

 

3-Black Vs. 4-Green Game Highlights

Noah Collier (2023 SS, Cincinnati, OH) barreled up a fastball for a triple to right field in his first at-bat today. Showed some bat speed on the swing and some speed on the bases getting to third. Made a couple athletic plays in the field as well charging in on slow rollers and making quick accurate throws on the run.

Mac McCormick (2023 C, Cadiz, KY) showed some polished skills defensively behind the plate today. Making a couple strong accurate throws to bases with a quick pop. Moved his feet well defensively blocking ball in the dirt and showed some feel for framing pitches while working under the baseball.

Mari Hegenberger (2023 RHP, Plain City, OH) threw three efficient innings on the mound today, striking out six batters. Mixed speeds in his outing today with a fastball that got up to 84 and a breaking ball that showed it can miss bats.

Quinten Kaylor (2023 RHP, Mason, OH) tossed three dominant innings on the mound today, striking out six and allowing just one base runner. Fastball consistently in the mid 80's and up to 87 today with a curveball that showed consistent depth and was a true swing and miss out pitch today.

Joey Heenan (2024 1B, Mason, OH) barreled up a fastball for a loud double to the centerfield fence today. Swings the bat with some intent and followed up an impressive BP round with a solid game performance today. 

Connor Barber (2024 3B, Toledo, OH) Showed some all fields hitting ability today with a solid opposite field line drive double to drive in a run. Another hitter that had an impressive BP round and followed it up in game.

Connor Jarvis (2026 OF, Charleston, WV) one of the youngest players in todays game, got to the barrel for a line drive triple to the left centerfield gap. Impressive ability to handle the bat and impact the baseball for the age.
