Roman Furuta (2023 SS, Union, KY) took some violent cuts and proved he could generate easy power. Short to and long through it as he flashed power into the gaps.
Davis Johnson (2023 SS, Mount Sterling, KY) took a mature round of batting practice. Delivered the barrel on time and stung the baseball when he squared it up. Drove it on a line with every cut and took one of the best rounds of the day.
Will Schirmer (2025 MIF, Mason, OH) flashed a short cut as he stayed direct to the baseball. Total barrel control as he sprayed it on a line to all fields showing feel for the swing.
Evan Scott (2024 RHP, Liberty Township, OH) utilized his strength in the box with a fluid cut. Impacted out front and drove it deep to the middle of the park. Power projection in the box.
Tate Queen (2025 1B, Portsmouth, OH) proved to have natural loft to the swing while finding the barrel often. Also showcased the power to the pull-side during the round.
Charlie Scholvin (2023 SS, Galena, OH) worked into a hanging leg lift to stride before firing the bat head through the zone. Athletic in the swing and found some really loud barrels.
Luke Vingren (2023 RHP, Bonn, NW) didn’t get cheated as he took some big hacks in the box. Middle of the field power present when he timed it up properly.
Gavin McBeath (2023 3B, Indianapolis, IN) took one of the more impressive rounds as he found a loud barrel with every cut. Does a good job using the lower half strength as he drove the baseball with authority to the middle of the field.
Connor Barber (2024 3B, Toledo, OH) peppered the middle of the field with line drives. Short to the baseball and knows how to generate backspin. Barrel accuracy being the name of his game.
John Baumel (2024 RHP, Dublin, OH) staying compact in the cut as he works through the zone with a linear path. Loud end of the round proving to have some power in the swing as well.
Max Dunaway (2023 SS, Tipp City, OH) had a quick set of hands as he whipped the barrel through the zone. Scattered line drives into the middle of the field and also had some pull-side pop when he got it out front.
Charlie Hall (2023 LHP, Cincinnati, OH) leveraged the baseball and drove it deep. Pretty left-handed cut being guided with a solid set of hands. Played peppered with the gaps.
Ben Veletean (2026 SS, Lebanon, OH) longer cut while impacting with some thump. Heaviness to the hands as the baseball jumped off the barrel. Power projection.
Joey Heenan (2024 1B, Mason, OH) taking some violent cuts as he looked to drive it as far as possible. Succeeded multiple times with loud, deep fly balls to the middle of the field.
Nehemiah Toles (2025 OF, Canton, OH) fires the hands early and gets the bat head out front. Impacting to the pull-side while showing off some pop in the swing. Athletic cut.
Seth Ellis (2024 1B, Loveland, OH) juice in the swing present with a controlled, vicious cut. Ambushed the baseball and drove it deep into the middle of the field.
Rodney Rachel (2023 OF, Cincinati, OH) was simple in the cut as he threw the hands through the zone. Really loud barrels when he timed it up properly. Gap to gap type pop.
Chase Van Ameyde (2024 SS, Lake Orion, MI) went after it with intent during his round. Pop in the swing when he finds the barrel and has a power projection going forward.
