Zavior Esquivel (2025 LHP, Fremont, OH) found a lot of strikes with the fastball working ahead of hitters and getting quick outs. He generates enough movement on the fastball to keep it out of the middle of the plate and pairs it with a curveball at he does a nice job working on top of pitch with some later depth.
Jake Martin (2023 C, St. Clair Shores, MI) showed well in his round of batting practice finding the barrel regularly and carried that over to the game action with a single down the line in right in his first at bat. He added a second hit in game two lifting a fastball on the inner half over the short stop for another single into left field.
Emerson Foldenauer (2023 OF, Howell, MI) carried over his loud round of batting practice with a loud out in game two. His right-handed swing shows some feel for the barrel with a mostly linear path. He showed some projectable bat speed allowing him to get the bat head to all parts of the zone and spray the ball around the field.
Kaden Jominy (2026 RHP, Kalamazoo, MI) has a young projectable build that will only get stronger with maturity. He ran the fastball up to 81 mph sitting the upper 70’s and getting some swing and miss above the zone. He used the breaking ball well off of the fastball throwing it on the same plane with 12-6 shape showing consistent hand speed.
Kellen Roberts (2023 RHP, Monroe, MI) ran the fastball into the mid 80’s with a lot of strikes getting to both halves of the plate when needed. He has some quickness to the arm and maintains it on the breaking ball throwing it at the bottom of the zone and allowing it to break below the zone to create swing and miss.
Peyton Ganda (2025 C, Medina, OH) smoked a line drive to right-field doing a nice job of taking advantage of a bet high fastball on the outer half. His simple compact swing projects well for a balanced approach allowing him to spread the ball around the field with hard line drive contact. He added a base hit in game two driving a fastball back up the middle.
Logan Tammerine (2024 SS, Lambertville, MI) ran his fastball up to 86 mph with good riding life through the zone resulting in a lot of swings and misses. The breaking ball showed late sharp break creating awkward swings and misses from hitters as they tried to hunt the fastball.
Dominic Sintic (2025 C, Chardon, OH) found a loud barrel in his first at bat of game two with a sharp line drive back up the middle of the field. He showed good feel for the barrel all day with a short compact stroke that allows him to attack the inside part of the baseball creating hard line drive contact.
Brayden Dowd (2023 OF, Clarkston, MI) put the two best swings on a ball all day with two extra base hits. Swinging it from the left side he continued to show the power he displayed in batting practice with well struck line drives in the gaps. His first double spilt the left-center field gap for a double and then followed that up with a pull side triple in game two.
Parker Tippery (2023 1B, Waterford, MI) showed some arm strength on the mound running his fastball up to 85 mph while sitting in the low 80’s throughout his inning. The fastball comes out of the hand well and shows good life through the zone with hitters showing up tardy more often than not. He flashed a breaking ball in the mid 70’s that showed real potential when the hand speed is consistent
Maxwell Salas (2024 RHP, Zeeland, MI) pounded the zone with the fastball topping out at 86 mph sitting in the low to mid 80’s while mixing a sinker with heavy arm side action that he was able to burry under the hands of right-handed hitters for swings and misses. The movement on the sinker works well enough that it has the potential to become an out pitch for him down the line.
Bowen Beshears (2024 1B, Novi, MI) jumped all over a fastball in game two for a long double in the pull side gap. He did a nice job of getting the bat head out front on time allowing the natural loft in the bat path to get the ball in the air carrying it over the heads of the outfielders.
Drew Dawson (2023 OF, Plymouth, MI) found multiple loud barrels in game action showing an ability to use all fields. In game one he made some loud outs hitting the ball the other way and then followed that up with a single to the pull side sneaking a ball just inside the first base bag.
