Adam Goodman (2015, Starrs Mill, GA) leads his team, Homeplate Chilidogs Maldonado over Team Elite 17's Prime and into the semis.  He threw seven shut-out innings while allowing five hits and struck out 10.  His fastball was in the low 80's and touched 84 mph. Adam Spurlin (2016, Tift County, GA) had a two-run homer.  Cole Jackson (2016, Sandy Creek, GA) singled in a run. Nick DiPonzio (2016, Tattnall Square, GA) pitched in with a triple. 

Garrett Hodges (2016, South Effingham, GA) led the Prime with two singles. Zach Graveno (2016, Lambert, GA) threw 2 2/3 innings. He struck out three while allowing two hits.  His fastball was between 82-84 mph. Griffin Jolliff (2016, Buford, GA) threw 1 1/3 innings. He struck out one and gave up three hits.  His heater was in the mid 80's and topped out at 87 mph.

In the quarterfinals, Excel Blue Wave score runs in every inning except one to beat East Cobb Astros 16U.  Cole Ibsen (2016, Fort Payne, AL) drives in two with a single. Andrew Reed (2016, Mt. Brook, AL) showed off by hitting a two-run homer. Sam Praytor (2017, Pelham, AL) pitched in with a single and a triple. Will Reaves (2016, Alexandria, AL) threw seven innings.  He allowed a five hits and struck out five. His fastball was in the low 80's and touched 83 mph. 

Patrick McNamara (2017, Blessed Trinity, GA) threw four innings.  He fanned four while walking just one. Bryan Grant (2017, Kell, GA) drove in a run with a single.

Ontario Blue Jays battle Team Elite 18's Black and came out on top 8-4.  Rayvon Barless (2015, Lorne Park, ON) had two hits including a double.  Randall Winger (2015, St. Augustine, ON) doubled in two runs.  Max Hewitt (2015, Eastview, SS) went 2 for 2 with an RBI.  Dalton Clarke (2015, Sir William Mulock, ON) pitched in with two hits including a two-baser and an RBI. Bryson Smith (2015, All Saints, ON) threw four innings. He struck out four while walking two. 

Colby Matthews (2015, Cambridge, GA) led the Black with two singles.  Ethan Heisey (2015, West Forsyth, GA) pitched in with two singles and an RBI.

Titans Baseball 17/18U scored 12 runs in the first inning with only two hits as they beat Atlanta Blue Jays. Dexter Turner (2015, Hapeville Charter, GA) led the attack with a single that drove in two runs. Jake Milkey (2016, Woodstock, GA) had the other hit and an RBI. Dalton Isley (2015, Campbell) threw three innings. He struck out three while allowing three hits.

He struck out seven while allowing two hits.

Astros TECB plated four in the fourth and went on to beat SEB 17U. Carrington Evans (2016, Cartersville, GA) led the offense with three hits including a double. He also drove in three runs.  Myles Blocker (2017, Rockdale County, GA) had two hits including a double and an RBI.  Aaron Douglas (2017, Arabia Mountain, GA) went 2 for 2 in the win. Evans also pitched four innings. He struck out three while allowing four hits. His fastball was in the high 70's and touched 80 mph.

Jason Woszcynski (2017, Woodstock, GA) started and lasted four innings, He struck out five while allowing just a hit.

He struck out two while allowing a hit.  Ben Adkinson (2015, Hiram, GA) came in next.  In three innings, he fanned five while giving up three singles.  Colin Davis (2016, Brookwood, GA) came in to finish the game. Crews Taylor (2017, Archer, GA) had three of those hits and an RBI.  Micahel Cherwenka (2017, Hebron Christain, GA) had two doubles and drove in a run.  Austin Jett (2017, Hebron Christian, GA) and Zack Richardson (2017, Mill Creek, GA) both had two hits each and drove in runs.  Davis Ray (2016, Grayson, GA) helped out with two singles. Bradley Kallgren (2017, Walton, GA) also had two singles and a run batted in. Cherwenka also pitched five innings. He struck out five while allowing a hit. His heater was in the low 80's and touched 84 mph.

Brook, AL) went 2 for 3 with an RBI.  Justin Whitley (2015, Alexandria, AL) started and lasted four innings. He struck out three while walking two.  Jacob Hulcher (2015, Montgomery Catholic, AL) pitched the rest of the game.  In three innings, he fanned three and allowed a hit. His fastball was in the mid 80's and touched 86 mph.

Jabari Richards (2015, Whitewater, GA) came in and threw the third inning. He walked two but also struck out two.

He struck out six and walked one.  His heater was recorded between 84-87 mph and touched 88. Schyler Chapman (2015, Parkview, GA) came in to pitch four innings. He struck out 10 and did not walk a batter. His fastball was in the mid 80's and reached 85 mph. Mitch McCain (2015, Collins Hill, GA) drove in three runs with two doubles.  Zach Teem (2015, Kennesaw Mountain, GA) went 2 for 4 with two RBI's.  Kent Baldy (2016, Buford, GA) pitched in with a single and a double.

In very low offensive game, Georgia Banditos and Atlanta Blue Jays could not score a run. They ended in a 0-0 tie.  Braden Zarbinsky (2015, Pope, GA) pitched for the Banditos. He struck out seven while allowing a hit and two walks. His mid 80's fastball topped out at 87 mph.

Morgan Foulks (2015, Alexander, GA) started for the Jays. He lasted four innings and struck out six. He only allowed a hit and zero walks. Shane Tucker (2015, Union Grove, GA) started and lasted three innings. He struck out four while allowing a hit.  His heater was in the high 80's and touched 91 mph. Stephenson came in next to pitched the fourth and fifth. He gave up two hits but struck out four. He also threw an impressive fastball was was between 87-89 mph and reached 90.

It was a very tight game and neither team wanted to budge but Team Elite 18's Prime came out on top in extra innings against Excel Blue Wave.  Bryce Denton (2015, Ravenwood, TN) had a great day at the plate. He went 3 for 4 with a double and a triple.  Tarez Miller (2015, Kings Ridge, GA) pitched in with two singles and an RBI.  White also had two singles and an RBI in the win. Manning Early (2017, Gardendale, AL) led the Wave with three singles and scored twice.  Sam Prayton (2017, Pelham, AL) had two doubles and plated a run.  Dalton Cobb (2015, Alexandria, AL) also doubled twice and drove in two runs.  Peyton Whitten (2015, Piedmont, AL) threw six innings. He fanned four while walking two. His fastball was recorded in the mid 80's and touched 87 mph.

In a very close semifinal game, Team Elite 18's Prime slipped past Homeplate Chilidogs Maldonado in their 2-1 win. Aaron Schunk (2016, Lovett School, GA) threw a complete game for Prime. He struck out three while allowing five hits and zero walks. His mid 80's heater reached 89 mph. Kevin Strohschein (2015, George Walton, GA) led the offense with two singles.  Trevor Brown (2015, Parkview, GA) singled in a run. 

Jake McFarland (2015, Ola, GA) had two singles for the Chilidogs. Tristian English (2015, Pike County, GA) started and lasted four innings. He struck out three while allowing five hits.  He threw his fastball between 85-87 mph and touched 89. Ethan Gillis (2015, Whitewater, GA) came in to finish the game.  He fanned one and allowed a hit in three innings of work. Gillis showed off his arm by throwing a mid 80's fastball and topped out at 87 mph.

Evan Steele (2015, Marietta, GA) led the pitching staff with four innings of work. He did not give up a run or hit. He walked one batter and struck out ten on his 90 mph fastball. He has short arm action while using his lower half. He has life on his fastball that compliments his tight rotating and late breaking slider. Connor Stephenson (2015, Fairburn, GA) tossed 1.2 innings. He did not give up a run and just one hit. He walked one batter and struck out two with his 83 mph fastball. He competes on the mound with an online delivery. He has a good curve along with a good arm side run change up.

East Cobb Baseball scored early and went on to beat Ontario Blue Jays 7-1. Brock Anderson (2016, Sparkman, AL) had a great day offensively.  He had a double, triple, and drove in four runs.  Robby Dau (2015, North Paulding, GA) went 2 for 3 and plated two runs.  Zach Goodman (2015, Kennesaw Mt. GA)  started for East Cobb. He lasted three innings and fanned two. His fastball in the mid 80's and topped out at 88.  Cameron Allison (2016, Pope, GA) pitched four innings in the win.  He fanned five and allowed just a hit. His heater was between 83-86 mph and touched 87. 

Javid Baksh (2015, Cawthra Park SS, ON) threw four innings for the Blue Jays. He struck out three and walked one.

Colin LoCurto (2015, Kennesaw Mt. GA) pitched a perfect seven inning and struck out two.  Jack Brannon (2015, Woodstock, GA) led the offense with two hits including a double.  Cole Buffington (2015, Kennesaw Mt. GA) went 2 for 3 in the win.

Kane Popham (2017, Darlington, GA) led the attack with three hits including a double and an RBI.  Brady Head (2016, Cartersville, GA) doubled in three runs.  Taylor Whitley (2017, Adairsville, GA) started and lasted three innings for the Rookies.  He fanned three while allowing four hits.  Trevor Lowe (2017, Cass, GA) threw the last three innings. He fanned five and allowed a hit.

Patrick Harrington (2016, Marietta, GA) led the Wildcats with two singles.  Zach Yancey (2017, Cartersville, GA) drove in two runs with a double. He also threw the first three innings. He allowed four hits but fanned four.

Team Elite 17's Prime slipped past Team 360 Longhorns in their 2-1 win. Christian Ryder (2016, North Paulding, GA) started and lasted four innings. He fanned four while allowing just one hit.  He threw his fastball in the mid 80's and touched 86. Luke Corbin (2016, Woodward Academy, GA) came in next.  In three innings, he struck out three and gave up a hit. His fastball was recorded between 82-84 mph and touched 85. 

Robert Kwaitowski (2016, Mountain View, GA) pitched for the Longhorns.  He k'ed five and allowed two hits in 4 1/3 innings of work. His impressive fastball was in the mid 80's and reached 88 mph.  Austin came in next to finish the game. He struck out four and gave up two hits.

The Georgia Tech commit, Tristin English (2015, Williamson, GA), led the Chilidogs offense with a pair of singles that plated three RBIs while scoring twice. Chase Allen (2015, Sharpsburg, GA) roped a single and two doubles while adding two RBIs and touching home twice. Cole Jackson (2016, Tyrone, GA) connected with a three RBI double and later scored. Adam Spurlin (2016, Ty Ty, GA) helped with a RBI single of his own.

Alijah Willingham (2015, Hiram, GA) helped with a pair of singles with a RBI and two runs. Avery Ragsdale (2017, Hiram, GA) and John Castro (2015, Marietta, GA) added a RBI single and run each.

He stays tall on his backside while staying balanced. He maintains arm speed with his change up that compliments his curveball.

Hunter Furlong (2016, Suwanee, GA) went three innings without a run to score with only one hit. He did not walk a batter and struck out four. He maxed out the gun at 81 mph. He throws all pitches around the plate with arm working well. He has a long and loose arm action. Brady Kelly (2016, Dacula, GA) went another three innings without a run to score without a hit to fall. He did not walked one as well with three strike outs. He ran the gun up to 79 mph. He has good command with a solid arm action. He stays tall on his back side with a good hip rotation.

Blake Simmons (2016, Macon, GA) connected with the only extra base hit for the Titans with a double. Randal Heller (2015, Marietta, GA) drove in one RBI, and Jacob Davenport (2016, Acworth, GA) scored than run off his one hit.
