Troy Ford (2025 SS, Fayetteville, GA) had a strong showing in the box as the switch hitter found barrels from both side. Short and simple while proving he could find the barrel consistently. Proved to have some juice to the pull-side while swinging it left-handed.
Robert Hoffman (2025 SS, Hurst, TX) proved he could create separation as he drove the baseball to all fields. Natural lift in the swing generates power as he gets extended out front. Advanced bat on ball skills showing.
Griffin Booth (2025 C, Cincinnati, OH) found plenty of barrels as he squared the baseball up with a strong pair of hands. Sprayed it to all fields as he stayed short and simple to the baseball.
Gabe Boyd (2025 SS, Memphis, TN) worked with a spread out stance as he threw hands at the baseball. Proved he could find the barrel and showcased some power to the pull-side.
William Applegate (2025 C, Fruita, CO) took some big hacks as he looked to do damage with every cut. Drifted into swing and then crushed the baseball to the pull-side.
Walker Roberts (2025 SS, Greensboro, GA) utilized a linear swing path as he impacted the baseball out front. Looked to drive it gap to gap and proved to have some power in the middle of the field.
Thomas O'Connell (2025 C/OF, Harointon, CT) stayed short to the baseball as he looked to stay inside of it as he squared it up. He peppered the middle of the field during his round with hard line drives.
Ethan Barnes (2025 C, Olive Branch, MS) proved to have strength in the hands as he fired the hips and got the bat head through the zone with authority. Pulled the baseball as it jumped off the bat.
Nick Owens (2024 C, Oxford, OH) took a great round of batting practice as he proved to have some upside as a switch hitter. Impacted out front and drove it to all fields on a line from both sides.
Jalon Page (2025 RHP, Charlotte, TN) took an interesting round of batting practice as he was all or nothing. Created some loud contact late as he ran into one drive it deep to the warning track.
Eddie Tanner (2025 SS, Hamilton, OH) did a great job using the lower half as he stayed short to the baseball as well for a recipe that generated barrels. Drove it back up the middle and proved to have some pop to the pull-side gap.
Trey Hicklin (2025 1B, Urbandale, IA) utilized a big, powerful body as he had the loudest round of batting practice today. He knows how to leverage the baseball and his power was on full display as he crushed one over the pull-side fence during his round.
