All American Prospects Score Final 4 Runs, Win

7/9/2014

All American Prospects trailed 2-1 through two and a half innings, but scored the final four runs of the game to claim a 5-2 victory over IBAHS Knights 14U in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Reid Bass (2017, Vero Beach HS, FL), Ches Goodman (2018, Port St. Lucie HS, FL), and Case Howell (2017, Martin County HS, FL) each drove in one run to lead the Prospects. Justin Bryan (2018, Martin County HS, FL) recorded two hits, including a double, and also scored a team-high two runs. Chase Ross also added a double in the victory.

Trevor Thomas (2017, Okeechobee HS, FL) tossed a complete game for the Prospects, allowing one earned run over five innings with four strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 74 mph.

Juan Lopez (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) drove in both Knights runs, which were scored by Angel Normandia (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) and Kevin Gomez (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR). Daniel Figueroa (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) supplied a double in the losing effort.

IBAHS Knights Advance with 5-2 Victory

IBAHS Knights 14U scored the first five runs of the game, and moved on with a 5-2 victory over Georgia Seminoles in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Yadier Ortiz (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) drove in two runs to lead the run production for the Knights. Daniel Figueroa (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) scored two runs, and added a stolen base in the victory. Jan Luis Torres (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR), Kevin Reyes (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR), and Vicente Castro (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) each added one hit and a run scored.

Brian Rodriguez (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) tossed a complete game over the five innings for the Knights. He allowed two runs on four hits with two strikeouts, and his fastball topped out at 78 mph.

River Dixon (2017, Fannin County HS, GA) and Jamal Simpson (2018, West Lake HS, GA) each had one run batted in for the Seminoles, and the team’s two runs were scored by Jordan Heath (2018, Dade County HS, GA) and Trevor Proctor (2018, Rome HS, GA). Dixon also added a double in the losing effort.

643 DP Jaguars Score 4 in Seventh for Win

643 DP Jaguars scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie, and claimed a 7-5 victory over FBH Angels in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Bradly Riopelle (2018, Lassiter HS, GA) drove in two runs to lead the run production for the Jaguars. Billy Zinnershine (2018, Lassiter HS, GA) and Patrick Taylor (2018, Marist HS, GA) each added one run batted in. Riopelle, Zinnershine, Taylor, and Gregory Boland (2018, Allatoona HS, GA) had the four hits for the Jaguars, and seven players each scored one run in the victory.

Jack Polhemus (2018, The Westminster Schools, GA) did not allow a run or a hit over 4.1 innings, picking up the victory. He struck out three hitters, and his fastball topped out at 74 mph.

Davon Terry (2019, Blake HS, FL) led the Angels with three runs batted in, and Addison Barger (2018, Homeschool, FL) added one. BJ Carter (2017, Blake HS, FL) led the team with two runs scored, and Tate Whatley (2017, Plant City HS, FL) had the only extra base hit, a double.

Drew Minter Tosses No-Hitter for Banditos

Drew Minter (2017, Clear Springs HS, TX) tossed a five inning no-hitter, as he led his Banditos Black to a 5-0 victory to advance over 9 Stars Saints on Wednesday.

Minter struck out seven hitters with two walks over his five innings of work. His fastball topped out at 82 mph, and he also showed a good curveball and changeup.

Alerick Soularie (2017, Atascocita HS, TX), Nicholas Northcut (2018, William Mason HS, LA), and Leonel Perez (2017, La Joya Palmview HS, TX) each drove in one run for the Banditos. Soularie led the hitting with two hits, including a double. Five players each scored one run in the Banditos victory.

Banditos of Austin Advance with 4-0 Win

Banditos of Austin 14U scored two runs in the top of the first inning, and claimed a 4-0 victory over Bergen Blue Crew on Wednesday in Fort Myers.

Justin Moore (2018, Vandegrift HS, TX), Kyle John (2017, Vista Ridge HS, TX), and Rorik Maltrud (2018, Westwood HS, TX) led the Banditos offense with one run batted in each. John’s two singles led the way for the offense, Jaylen Williams (2018, Stony Point HS, TX) and Adrian Torres (2017, Manor HS, TX) each added a double in the Banditos win.

Maltrud was the winning pitcher for the Banditos, who struck out five with three hits allowed. His fastball topped out at 81 mph.

The three Bergen hits were recorded by Aydon Chavis (2017, Allentown HS, NJ), Drew Watts (2019, Bibb County HS, AL), and Luis Cabrera (2017, Gateway HS, FL).

SBA Canes Win 4-1 Over Team Elite

The SBA Canes 14U Black beat Team Elite Steel by a score of 8-1. 
Tyrese Hearst, (2017, Westchest Country Day HS, NC) had a big day for the SBA Canes, going 2-3 from the late, including a double, three RBIs and a run scored. He also pitched a solid inning on the mound where he only allowed one hit and struck out three. His fastball averaged between 76-79 mph and maxed out at 82 mph. Jonathan Ransom, (2018, Randleman HS, NC) pitched two innings, only allowing one run on one hit, unearned, and struck out one to earn the win. Jason Garfinkle, (2017, Providence HS, NC) went a perfect 2-2 with a double, two RBIs, a walk and two runs scored. 
Zachary Boyd, (2018, Stephens County HS, GA) pitched 2.2 innings, only allowing three runs on four hits. Drew Brady, (2017, Oconee County HS, GA) hit a double for Team Elite Steel. 

Wolfpack Edge Out Chain Stealth 3-2

After scoring three runs in the first inning, the Connecticut Wolfpack 14U held off Chain Stealth in a close 3-2 game. Chain Stealth scored two in the 3rd but could get no closer. 
Ryan Meury, (2017, Hopkins HS, CT) pitched 2.2 innings, only allowing two runs on three hits to earn the win for the Wolfpack. Dillon Lifrieri, (2018, Wilton HS, CT) and Will Lucas, (2018, Fairfield College Prep, CT) each contributed offensively with one RBI. Both players also had good outings on the mound too as Lucas pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, only allowing two hits while striking out one. Lifrieri pitched a perfect inning and had one strikeout. 
William Spalinger, (2018, Westover HS, GA) pitched 3.2 perfect innings and struck out two. Malik Spratling, (2017, Lee County HS, GA) and Leyton Pinckney, (2018, Veterans HS, GA) each had an RBI for Chain Stealth. Spratling also hit a double 

Astros Best Canes in Pitcher's Duel 2-0

The East Cobb Astros 14U made the most of their two hits and received stellar pitching in a tight knit game to beat the SBA Canes 14U Black 2-0. The Astros scored their runs on a wild pitch and a bases loaded walk. 
Darius Pope, (2017, Westlake HS, GA) was dominant on the mound for the Astros, only allowing two hits the entire game and struck out three. Pope's fastball clocked in between 77-79 mph and maxed out at 82 mph. He was effective throwing to both sides of the plate and flashed curveball potential. Lane Keylon, (2017, Rhea County HS, TN) and Josiah Futral, (2018, Kell HS, GA) scored the only two runs of the game for either side. 
Justin Guy, (2017, Southeast Guilford HS, NC) pitched two scoreless innings and didn't allow a hit for the SBA Canes. Guy also had one of his team's two hits. Chad Treadway, (2018, AC Reynolds HS, NC) had the other base hit. 

Early Lead Carries Astros to 6-1 Win

The East Cobb Astros 14U scored all six of their runs in the first two innings and received a stellar pitching performance in a 6-1 win over the Banditos of Austin 14U. 
Jacob Cabe, (2018, Cambridge HS, GA) pitched a complete game for the East Cobb Astros 14U, going 4.2 innings and only allowing one run on four hits while striking out five. His fastball ranged between 74-77 mph and maxed out at 82 mph. He showed control to both sides of the plate and good slider potential. Josiah Futral, (2018, Kell HS, GA) went 1-2 with a triple, two RBIs and a run scored for the Astros. Jarrett Ford, (2018, Decatur HS, GA) and Will Banfield, (2018, Brookwood HS, GA) each had two hits. One of Banfield's hits was a double, and he also drove in a run. Ford also had an RBI and scored a run. 
Kyle John, (2017, Vista Ridge HS, TX) pitched 3.2 innings and didn't allow any runs on three hits and struck out three. Andrew Chapa, (2018, Vista Ridge HS, GA) was the offensive leader for the Banditos, going 1-2 with a single and an RBI. 

Crawley walks Elite Squad into the Quarters

Patrick Crawley (2018, American Heritage, FL) of the Elite Squad 14U team drew a walk in the bottom of the 7th inning to give his team the victory. The Elite Squad would win over the Central Florida Gators 14U team by a final score of 10-9. This victory sends the Elite Squad into the Quarterfinals round where they will face the winner of game #370.

Crawley, as mentioned before drew the game winning walk, but also went 1 for 2 on the day with a double. He'd drive in two and of course, walk once. His teammates Cory Acton (2018, Westminster Academy, FL), and Julio Cortez Sanz (2018, American Heritage, FL) would also drive in two for the day in an all around impressive offensive performance by the Elite Squad 14U team. Michael Marin (2018, Doral Academy Charter, FL) was the winning pitcher for Elite, pitching 1 and 1/3 innings, with a strikeout and a walk.

Seth Caddell (2017, Pinecrest, NC) was impressive at the plate for the Central Florida Gators today, going 2 for 2 at the plate with a double, a walk, and 3 RBI's. Elijah Cabell (2018, Winter Park, FL) had a nice game as well, going 1 for 3 with a triple and an RBI.

Both Gators pitchers showed nice velocity in this one. Mason Denaburg (2018, Merritt Island, FL) sat 83-85/87 with his fastball and Gunnar Hoglund (2018, Dayspring Christian Academy, FL) sat 84-86/87 with his.

East Cobb Astros advance with ease

The East Cobb Astros 14U squad defeated the C2 Dirtbags on Wednesday to improve to (7-1) for the tournament thus far, advancing to the quarterfinals round. The Astros jumped out to an early lead scoring 2 runs in the very first frame. C2 however, would make a come back in the bottom of the 3rd to tie the game up before the Astros finally pulled away for good.

Austin Moody (2018, Locust Grove, GA) led the way at the plate for the Astros by going 3 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. Moody's teammate, Will Banfield (2018, Brookwood, GA) also hit well today by going 2 for 3. Josiah Futral (2018, Kell, GA) was the game leader in RBI's with 2 as he finished the day 1 for 2.

Ty Thacker (2018, Ridgepoint, TX) played well for the Dirtbags in this one. He finished the day 1 for 1 with an RBI double.

Cincinnati Spikes wins in a close one.

Single in opening act fuels 6-2 Cincinnati Spikes victory over Orlando Baseball Academy 14U. AJ king (Indian Hill, Cincinnati, OH 2018) racked up four RBIs on two hits for Cincinnati Spikes. Reece Lisle (Lake Mary, Lake Mary, FL 2018) was the other hot hitter for Orlando Baseball Academy 14U. He went 1-3 for the game and had one RBI.

Braedon Norman (Butler, Vandalia, OH 2019) recorded the win for Cincinnati Spikes. He allowed two runs over six innings with striking out two, walked three and gave up four hits. Brandon Ussrey (Apopka, Apopka, FL 2017) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

Chain Stealth wins big with 12 runs.

All-around effort leads Chain Stealth past the Florida Royals 14U 12-0. Austin Thompson (South Effingham, Rincon, GA 2017) powered Chain Stealth at the plate and hill. He had two extra-base hits for Chain Stealth. He doubled in the first inning and tripled in the third inning. Joey Hendrix (Coral Springs Charter, Coral Springs, FL 2017) was hot at the plate today for the Florida Royals 14U. He went 1-2 with a single in the fourth inning.

The Florida Royals 14U couldn't get anything going as long Thompson was on the mound. The Florida Royals 14U managed just one hit off of the Chain Stealth's pitcher. He allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work. Hendrix was in control on the mound. He held Chain Stealth hitless over one-third of an inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none, and struck out none. Thompson fastball range for the game was 80-84 mph.

Jack Harris's (Stanton College Preparatory, Jacksonville, FL 2018) pitching leads Jacksonville Warriors 14U past East Cobb Pride 14U 3-0. Jacksonville Warriors 14U was led by Rickey Hartless's (Bishop Kenny, Jacksonville, FL 2018) hitting. He went 2-3 and scored one run with triple in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Harris kept East Cobb Pride 14U off the boards during his seven innings of work. He struck out one and and allowed no walks and four hits. Ethan Myers (The Kings Academy, Canton, GA 2017) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.

South Miami Baseball wins a close one.

Gabriel Partridge (La Salle, Miami Beach, FL 2018) not deterred by lack of offense from South Miami Baseball in 2-1 victory over Team DeMarini of Wisconsin 14U. Eric Estevez (Miami Coral Park, Miami, FL 2017) got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning. Team DeMarini of Wisconsin 14U's lone run of the ballgame came in the first inning on an RBI single by Anthony Calarco (New Trier Township H S Winnetka, Wilmette, IL 2018).

Partridge showed his stuff today on the mound. Six 2/3 innings strong innings by Partridge carried South Miami Baseball to a victory. Logan Bakkila (Zion-Benton Twnshp Hi, Winthrop Harbor, IL 2017) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three and allowed one run.

No-hitter leads Bergen Blue Crew past the Grove City Titans 11-0. Dylan Scasserra (St Joseph Regional, Westwood, NJ 2017) and Ryan DeMille (St John Vianney, Millstone Township, NJ 2017) was the two hot hitters for Bergen Blue Crew. Scasserra went 1-2 for the game with scoring two runs. DeMille went 1-2 for the game with scoring one run.

Ben Diaz (Teaneck, Teaneck, NJ 2018) was untouchable today on the mound. He threw a no-hitter, striking out three batters and walking four. Lou Burns (The Columbus Academy, Westerville, OH 2017) couldn't get it done on the mound for the Grove City Titans with taking the loss. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked one and struck out one.

Team Rawlings Moulton take out CFBL 2018 Select with help from Kade Self (Dale, Shawnee, OK 2018), 8-5. He drove in three runs with a double in the second inning and single in the fourth inning. Team Rawlings Moulton stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring one run on an RBI single by Jacob Burton.

Travis Hester (College Station, College Station, TX 2018) had an impressive outing against CFBL 2018 Select's lineup. CFBL 2018 Select managed just one hit off of the Team Rawlings Moulton's pitcher. He allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work. Dakoda Grove (The First Academy, Orlando, FL 2018) took the loss for CFBL 2018 Select. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out two. Hester fastball range for the game was 74-81 mph. Grove fastball range for the game was 69-80 mph.

The Connecticut Wolfpack 14U scored twice in the bottom of the 4th after being held scoreless up to that point to beat Elite Squad 14U 2-1. 
Justin Jordan, (2018, Darien HS, CT) pitched four innings, allowing only one run on four hits while striking out two. Will Lucas, (2018 Fairfield College Prep, CT) pitched the last inning and struck out the side to preserve the win for the Wolfpack. Lucas also had a good game at the plate going 1-2 with a single and a run score. Dillon Lifrieri (2018, Wilton HS, CT) added a a single and an RBI. 
Jake Holland, (2019, FL) and Jared Defaria, (2018, Pine Crest HS, FL) led the Elite Squad offense. Holland had two hits, including a double, and a run scored. Defaria added a double and an RBI.

Third-inning rally sparks blowout win for Bronx Bombers, 9-2. David Yourke (Curtis, Staten Island, NY 2017) went perfect 3-3 at the dish for Bronx Bombers. He singled in the second, third, and fifth innings. Darian Rorabeck (Trinity Christian Academy, Lake Worth, FL 2018) was the hot hitter for Palm Beach Select Green. He went 1-2 for the game with scoring one run and one RBI.

Kennee Torres (Yonkers Motessori Academy, Yonkers, NY 2017) got the win for Bronx Bombers. He allowed one run over 3 2/3 innings with striking out none, walked four and gave up three hits. James Cecil (Bartram Trail, St. Johns, FL 2018) boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate. He singled in the second and fifth innings.

CBC 14U Riverhawks' lineup had no answer for Ryan Baumann (Bellprt Senior, Brookhaven, NY 2018) CBC 14U Riverhawks managed just one hit off of the Long Island Lookouts' pitcher. He allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work. Chase Wilson (Bartram Trail, Switzerland, FL 2018) was the ace pitcher for CBC 14U Riverhawks. He tossed four innings worth while giving up five hits, two runs, walking one and striking out two.

Brett Traficante's pitching leads the RI Rays past Home Plate Chilidogs 8-0. Jordan Carvalho (Bishop Hendricksen, Reehobeth, MA 2017) racked up three RBIs on three hits for the RI Rays. He went 3-3 with scoring two runs. RI Rays as a offense had eight runs scored with ten hits.

He allowed one hit, three walks and struck out five during his six innings of work. Will Evans (Starrs Mill, Peachtree City, GA 2017) took the loss for Home Plate Chilidogs. He allowed eight runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out two. Evans fastball range for the game was 73-78 mph.

Kendall Simmons (Tattnall Square Academy, Macon, GA 2018) and Dylan Minghini (Gordon Lee, Rock Springs, GA 2018) was the hot hitters for the Titans Sports Academy. Simmons went 2-2 for the game with scoring two runs and had one RBI. Minghini went 2-2 for the game with scoring one run and had four RBIs.

No PBC PAL 14U batter was able to locate Joseph Mannelly's (Marist, Atlanta, GA 2017) pitches during the game. He threw a no-hitter, striking out seven batters and walking two. After beating the 643 DP Jaguars 3-1, Chain Stealth improved to 9-0 in the 14U BCS Finals. With the pitching duo of Nicholas Mitchum, (2018, Westover HS, GA) and Colt Buckingham, (2017, Niceville Senior HS, FL), the Jaguars were limited to one run on three hits while Chain Stealth's offense provided enough runs for the win. 
Mitchum pitched four innings, only allowing one run on two hits while striking out three. His fastball was electric during his outing as it averaged between 73-75 mph and maxed out at 78 mph. Buckingham pitched a scoreless inning, only allowing one hit and struck out one. Cameron Gray, (2018 Marianna HS, FL) had a triple and a run for Chain Stealth. Geoffrey Lancaster, (2018, A. Crawford Mosely, FL) and Malik Spratling, (2018, Westover HS, GA) contributed offensively with a single and an RBI.

Early lead not enough for Banditos Black, drop 4-2 decision to the Coast Titans. Nicholas Northcut (William Mason, Baton Rouge, LA 2018) racked up two RBIs on one hit for Banditos Black. He homered in the third inning. A sacrifice fly by Reece Ewing gave the Coast Titans the lead in the fifth inning.

Team Elite Steel scored 6 runs in the first two innings and never looked back as they defeated the Florida Canes by a final score of 6-1. This win improved Team Elite Steel's record to (6-2) for the tournament thus far.

Phillip Suiter (2018, Lee County, GA) pitched well for Team Elite and was credited with the W for his efforts. Suiter was able to pitch 4 and 2/3 innings in which he struck out 9 while only allowing 4 hits and 1 earned run. He also showed nice fastball velocity, sitting at 76-80/83. Bradley Price Jr. (2018, South Forsyth, GA) and Drew Brady (2017, Oconee County, GA) stood out offensively for Team Elite. Prince Jr. finished the game 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. SBA Canes 14U Black Advance with 2-1 Win

SBA Canes 14U Black scored two runs in the top of the first inning, and those two runs were enough to defeat Jacksonville Warriors 14U, 2-1, on Wednesday.

Jason Garfinkle (2017, Providence HS, NC) and Gavin Williams (2017, Cape Fear HS, NC) drove in the two runs for the Canes, which were scored by Justin Guy (2017, Southeast Guilford HS, NC) and Garfinkle. Williams led the team with a double and a single, while Garfinkle, Guy, Zachary Tanner (2017, Lakewood HS, NC), and Logan Jarosz (2018, Eastern Alamance HS, NC) added one hit each.

Zachary Knapp (2017, Jack Britt HS, NC) tossed three innings and allowed one run on four hits to pick up the win. He struck out one, and his fastball topped out at 77 mph.

Connecticut Wolfpack 14U broke a scoreless tie with four runs in the bottom of the third, and advanced to the quarterfinals with a 5-2 victory over Wake Rays 14U on Wednesday.

One run each was driven in for the Wolfpack by Will Lucas (2018, Fairfield College Preparatory School, CT), Dillon Lifrieri (2018, Wilton HS, CT), James Edwards (2018, Sacred Heart HS, CT), and Sam Loda (2017, East Haven HS, CT). Lucas and Edwards led the team with two hits each, including a double for Edwards. Mike Torniero (2018, Notre Dame HS, CT) and Ryan Meury (2017, Hopkins HS, CT) also added one run scored in the win.

Lucas tossed a five inning complete game, allowing two runs on three hits with six strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 79 mph.

Evan Poole (2017, Athens Drive HS, NC) drove in both Rays runs, driving in Ty Birling (2017, Panther Creek HS, NC) and Connor Lane (2018, Clayton HS, NC). Birling, Lane, and Poole each had one single in the losing effort.

Banditos of Austin 14U advanced to the quarterfinals with a 7-1 victory over All American Prospects in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Jaylen Williams (2018, Stony Point HS, TX) scored a game-high two runs, outscoring the Prospects by himself. Adrian Torres (2017, Manor HS, TX) added a run scored and a triple in the victory. Cade Jones (2018, Lake Travis HS, TX) and Justin Moore (2018, Vandegrift HS, TX) added a run scored, a run batted in, and a hit in the win.

Kyle John (2017, Vista Ridge HS, TX) tossed a complete game over five innings with five strikeouts and no earned runs. His fastball topped out at 77 mph.

Charlie Bennett (2017, The Westminster Schools, GA) and Bradly Riopelle (2018, Lassiter HS, GA) drove in the two runs for the Jaguars, runs that were scored by Billy Zinnershine (2018, Lassiter HS, GA) and Ryan Miller (2018, The Westminster Schools, GA). Miller, Bennett, Riopelle, and John Staton (2017, The Lovett School, GA) recorded one hit each to provide the four Jaguars hits.

The Chain Stealth team improved to (8-0) for the tournament this morning after a 3-1 victory over the Coast Titans. Starter Cameron Gray (2018, Marianna, FL) went 4 strong innings striking out 3, while allowing 5 hits and 1 earned run. Gray sat 69-75 with his fastball and topped out at 79.

Austin Thompson (2017, South Effingham, GA) of Stealth came in to relieve Gray in the 5th inning and threw a perfect frame, striking out a batter in the process. He showed impressive velocity sitting at 78-83/86. The star on offense for Stealth was Leyton Pinckney (2018, Veterans, GA) who had an RBI triple.

Chain Stealth jumped out to an early lead and rode the defense to the shutout win over the Diamond Jacks Super 14 2-0. Chain Stealth needed only three hits to get their two runs and were led by Tyler Simon (2017, Lee County HS, GA) and his perfect 2-2 game at the plate with an RBI, a triple and a run scored. 

William Spalinger (2018, Westover HS, GA) picked up the win for Chain Stealth for his full game on the mound, allowing one hits and no runs or walks while striking out three, logging a strike on 74 percent of his pitches. Spalinger showed control around the plate with his pitches and a easy, smooth follow through while changing speeds and working fast with a four pitch rotation featuring a curveball with good sink and a fastball averaging 71 mph and topping out at 73 mph.

Nick Maldonado (2019, Short Hills, NJ) is credited with the loss for the Jacks for his full game on the mound, allowing three hits and two runs, both earned, while walking one and striking out two. Team Rawling PSA scored two runs in the bottom of the first, which was enough for a 2-0 victory over Illinois Pythons on Tuesday in Fort Myers.

Harrison Norman (2018, Dalton HS, GA) drove in a run for Rawling, and the two runs were scored by Norman and Cade Gabriel (2018, Dalton HS, GA). Two hits from Gabriel, and one hit each from Norman and Trenton Collins (2017, Coahulla Creek HS, GA) supplied the offense in the victory.

Collins fired a complete game two-hitter with ten strikeouts for Rawling. His fastball topped out at 81 mph.

The Central Florida Gators edged by the Carolina Bruins, 2-1, thanks to a late game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

T. Lee III (2018, Providence HS, FL) went 1-2 in the game, with one run, and one RBI.  Andrew Roberts (2019, Trinity Preparatory, FL) also went 1-2 in the game with one run.  Max Clark (2017, Lake Highland Preparatory, FL) pitched 3.2 innings of work, giving up three hits, and struck out two, while displaying an impressive fastball that topped out at 86 mph.  He also mixed in a couple of curveballs for his off-speed pitch.

Home Plate Chilidogs needed just one hit to score one run and defeat East Cobb Nine, 1-0, in Fort Myers on Tuesday.

The game’s lone run was driven in by Ryan Dyal (2019, East Coweta HS, GA) and scored by Nathan Gick (2017, East Coweta HS, GA). The only hit was a single recorded by Dawson Sweatt (2018, Landmark Christian School, GA) in the victory.

Cody Rodgers (2017, East Coweta HS, GA) tossed a complete game and allowed four hits with three strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 70 mph.

The four hits for the Nine were supplied by Jack Friedman (2018, Paideia HS, GA), Charlie Ludwick (2018, Lakeside HS, GA) and two from Joshua Mayo (2018, Cartersville HS, GA).

Caleb Strickland clubbed a walk-off single in the bottom of the fifth inning to give NF Young Guns a 7-6 victory over CFBL 2018 Select on Tuesday in Fort Myers.

Austin Harris (2018, Columbia HS, FL) doubled, scored two runs, and drove in three runs to lead the Young Guns offense. Cody Robinson (2018, Williston HS, FL) also added a run batted in, and Sage Kramer (2018, Gainesville HS, FL) supplied two hits.

Alex VanWert (2018, Buchholz HS, FL) was the winning pitcher for the Young Guns, surrendering three runs with five strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 74 mph.

Randy Scheker (2018, East Ridge HS, FL) led CFBL with two runs batted in, and Dakoda Grove (2018, The First Academy, FL) added one. Grove also led the team with two hits, and scored two runs in the loss.

South Oakland A's Claim 2-1 Victory

South Oakland A’s Horvath scored a run in the top of the fourth inning to break a 1-1 tie and claim a 2-1 victory over East Cobb Pride 14U at City of Palms Park on Tuesday.

Maxim Musyj (2018, Cranbrook Schools, Canada) and Austin Brown (2019, Madison HS, MI) drove in the two runs for the A’s, while Colin Gardner (2019, Catholic Central HS, MI) and Santos Guzman (2017, Warren, MI) scored the two runs. Musyj led the team with two hits in the 2-1 victory.

Brown tossed a complete game for the A’s, allowing one run on three hits. He struck out four, and his fastball topped out at 80 mph.

The Pride run was driven in by Michael Ferguson (2018, Walton HS, GA) and was scored by Ethan Myers (2017, The Kings Academy, GA). Myers, Ferguson, and Jackson Fleming (2018, Lambert HS, GA) each had one hit in the loss.

The Wake Rays 14U grabbed two late runs in the top of the sixth inning, as they went on to defeat Dallas Tigers-Watten, 2-0, in the second round of the playoffs.

Chris Tarpey (2017, Harnett Central HS, NC) went 1-3 in the game, with a double and two RBIs.  Wes Noles (2018, Fuguay-Varina HS, NC) went 1-2 with a single and one run scored.  Adam Capps (2017, Triton HS, NC) pitched 4.1 innings, giving up no hits, and struck out six.  He showed the ability to throw strike with a fastball that peaked at 76 mph.  Jonathan Peacock (2018, Rosewood HS, NC) pitched the other 1.1 innings, and gave up no hits and struck out two.

Mid-Atlantic Red Sox opened the game with a 4-0 lead, and held on for a 4-3 victory over Busty Bulls-Black 14U in Fort Myers on Tuesday morning.

Javon Fields (2018, Appoquinimink HS, DE) and Abraham Mow (2017, Milford HS, DE) drove in one run each for the Red Sox, and Trevor Collins (2018, Sussex Central HS, DE) led the team with two hits. Bryce Greenly (2018, Milford HS, DE) scored two runs to lead the Red Sox in the win.

Mow was the winning pitcher for the Red Sox, allowing one run on one hit. His fastball topped out at 81 mph with three strikeouts.

The Coast Titans defeated the Palm Beach Select Gold, 5-4, thanks to three early runs in the bottom of the third inning, that proved to be the difference.

Jeremiah Jackson (2018, St. Lukes Episcopal, AL) led the way going a perfect 2-2 with a homerun, single, two runs, and one RBI in the game.  Christian Waltman (2017, Faith Academy, AL) and Jack Cushman () each contributed with a double in the game.

Angel Vargas (2018, Labelle HS, FL) drove in three runs to lead the Cats, also adding a double. Trace Burchard (2020, Labelle, FL) added one run batted in. The team’s three hits were recorded by Bryce Hall (2019, Labelle HS, FL), Vargas, and Tyler Burton (2018, Labelle HS, FL).

Tyler Nesbitt (2019, Labelle HS, FL) allowed one run and three hits over five innings. He struck out three hitters, and his fastball topped out at 71 mph.

Carson Kemp (2018, Calhoun HS, GA) went 2-3 to lead the offense, with two singles.  Parker Young (2018, Calhoun HS, GA) went 1-2 with one RBI and one run.  Kyler Pelfrey (2018, Adairsville HS, GA) pitched a complete game, going five innings, giving up just three hits and struck out one.  He had a good fastball that topped out at 74 mph.

For the Manatee, Garrett Cook (2017; Osceola, FL) also pitched a complete game, giving up one earned run on four hits, and struck out two.  He had a fastball that peaked at 75 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.  At the plate, Gray Ellis (2018; Cardinal Mooney, FL) went a perfect 2-2 with two singles.

643 DP Jaguars took a 7-0 lead through three innings, and held off a hard charge from Team DeMarini of Wisconsin 14U to claim a 7-6 win in Fort Myers on Tuesday.

Ryan Miller (2018, The Westminster Schools, GA) led the run production for the Jaguars with two runs batted in. Billy Zinnershine (2018, Lassiter HS, GA) and Trevor Brooks (2018, Mount Paran Christian School, GA) added one run batted in each. Miller, Brooks, and Charlie Bennett (2017, The Westminster Schools, GA) had one hit each, and Bennett led the team with two runs scored.

Connor Stephens (2017, Marist HS, GA) tossed a complete game with five strikeouts for the Jaguars. His fastball topped out at 73 mph.

Stone Lasseter (2017, Houston County HS, AL) led the So Cal offensive effort with two runs batted in and one run scored. Austin Thrasher (2018, Emmanuel Christian School, AL) and Cameron Mahorn (2018 Palm Beach Central HS, FL) added one run batted in. Steven Grable (2017, Lincoln HS, FL) led the run scoring for So Cal with two runs scored in the win.

Levi Shuck (2018, Cape Coral HS, FL) led the Iron Pigs with two runs batted in. Trey Cruz (2018, Newsome HS, FL), Garret Duson (2018, Charlotte HS, FL) and Tom Wilander (2018, Canterbury School, FL) each had one hit, while Warnner Rincones (2018, Lemon Bay HS, FL), Cooper Weiss (2019, Gulf Coast HS, FL), and Joshua Kinker (2019, Venice HS, FL) scored the team’s runs.

Tyler Callagy (2018, Emerson HS, NJ) and Justyn-Henry Malloy (2018, St. Joseph Regional HS, NJ) drove in one run each to lead the Ravens run production. Correl Caddle (2018, St. Peter’s Preparatory HS, NJ) and David Estevez (2018, River Dell Regional HS, NJ) added one hit each, and Malloy led the team with two runs scored in the Ravens victory.

Malloy earned the win, tossing four scoreless innings with just two hits allowed. He struck out four hitters, and his fastball topped out at 78 mph.

White also recorded a double and a triple in the victory, while Joe Smith (2018, Brunswick HS, GA) and Bailey Vickers (2018, Washington County HS, GA) added one hit each. Smith led the team with two runs scored.

Colt Munsey (2018, Kokomo HS, IN) and Kyle Gardner (2018, New Palestine HS, IN) led the run production for Indiana, driving in one run apiece. Munsey also recorded a team-high two hits. Jacob Reiber (2017, Roncalli HS, IN), TaRell PeRine (2017, Bloomington South HS, IN), and Munsey scored the three Indiana runs in the win.

Casas tossed 3.1 innings, and allowed an unearned run with three strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 71 mph. Keenan recorded the final two outs with a strikeout.

643 DP Jaguars scored six of their seven runs in the final three innings, pulling away for a 7-4 victory over Texas Hardball Navy in Fort Myers on Monday.

Billy Zinnershine (2018, Lassiter HS, GA), Ryan Miller (2018, The Westminster Schools, GA), Charlie Bennett (2017, The Westminster Schools, GA), and Connor Stephens (2017, Marist HS,GA) each drove in one run for the Jaguars. Bradly Riopelle (2018, Lassiter HS, GA) led the team with two hits, including a triple. Seven players added one run scored in the victory.

Brett Potts (2018, Calhoun HS, GA) tossed a complete game for the Jaguars with six strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 78 mph.

Reed Hodges (2018, Round Rock HS, TX) and Cody Vannoy (2018, Summit Christian Academy, TX) were the only players to drive in a run for Hardball, driving in one each. Ethan Ruiz (2018, Cedar Ridge HS, TX) added two hits and two runs scored, both team-highs.

Late Run Forces Tie

Georgia Seminoles scored a run in the top of the sixth and final inning to force a tie with Florida Pokers 14U in Fort Myers on Monday.

Tavion Jackson (2018, Brookwood HS, GA) and Luke Camp (2017, McEachern HS, GA) drove in one run each for the Seminoles. Six players had one hit each, while Cameron Hill (2018, Woodbury Forest HS, GA) scored two runs. Jhy Foster (2018, Douglas County HS, GA) added the other run scored.

River Dixon (2017, Fannin County HS, GA) worked two scoreless, hitless innings for the Seminoles, striking out one. His fastball topped out at 74 mph.

Anthony Rodriguez (2018, Somerset Academy Charter, GA) had the lone run batted in for the Pokers, and the team’s three runs were scored by Earl Semper (2017, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL), Christian Scott (2018, Calvary Christian Academy, FL), and Jose Varela (2017, Terra Institute, FL).

Rodriguez did not allow an earned run over three innings, striking out five. His fastball peaked at 75 mph.

Team Rawlings Bests Dallas Tigers-Watten 4-3

In this five inning game, Team Rawlings Moulton defeated the Dallas Tigers-Watten by a score of 4-3.

Winning pitcher Connor Gage (2017, Mt Pleasant, TX) threw four innings, giving up two runs--one earned--on two hits and two walks. His fastball ranged from 76-80 mph and he recorded four strikeouts. Dalen Hall (2018, Ardmore, OK) gave up one run in his inning of work. His fastball ranged from 78-82 mph. 

Diego Muniz (2018, Rockwall, TX) singled twice and added two runs batted in for Team Rawlings. Kade Self (2018, Dale, OK) ripped a double to left field in the fourth inning.

For Dallas, Logan Thomazin (2018, Walnut Grove, MO) gave up two runs in 2.2 innings on the mound. His fastball sat 77-81 mph and he topped out at 83 mph. He also kept hitters off balance with his late breaking curveball. Samuel Boese (2018, Prosper, TX) gave up one earned run in 1.2 innings of work. His fastball topped out at 78 mph. Matt Foster (2018, Plano Senior, TX) recorded one out with his 74-77 mph fastball.

Jaden Fowler (2018, Lubbock Christian, TX) singled and scored a run. Joshua Lewis (2018, Roff, OK) added a run scored and a run batted in.


Zarate Leads Bruins to Victory

The Carolina Bruins got an all-around standout game from Angel Zarate (2017, Rockingham County HS, NC) and powered past the FBH Angels 14U 5-1 taking advantage of four fielding errors. Zarate powered the Bruins offense to ten team hits with three of his own, finishing 3-4 with two RBIs and a run scored while spending two innings on the pitching mound and tossing a no-hitter with no walks and four strikeouts with a strike percentage of 71 percent. 

Kyle Blendinger (2017, Southwest Guilford HS, NC) is credited with the win for the Bruins for his four innings on the mound to start out the game. Blendinger allowed three hits and one unearned run while walking none and striking out six with a four-pitch rotation featuring a fastball averaging 80 mph and topping out at 84 mph. 

Canes Roll to 9-1 Win

The SWFL Canes Elite rolled to an easy 9-1 win over the SBO Puerto Rico, doubling their hit count 8-4 and forcing seven fielding errors. The Canes logged eight hits from four different players and were led on offense by Luke Endsley (2017, Ida Baker HS, FL) and his 2-4 game at the plate with an RBI, two runs score, two doubles and two stolen bases.

Blaze Alexander (2018, Bishop Verot HS, FL) took home the win for the Canes for his two innings on the mound. Alexander allowed two hits and one unearned run while walking one and striking out six, finding the strike zone on 74 percent of his pitches. Alexander showed good extension out front and a well-working arm with a fastball averaging 77 mph and topping out at 79 mph. 

Saints, Knights Battle to Tie

The 9 Star Saints and the IBAHS Knights 14U battled to a 3-3 tie after six innings of play. The Knights struck first, scoring all three of their hits in the third inning to answer a single run from the Saints, who rallied with two runs in the fifth. Logan Millsaps (2018, Pickens County HS, GA) led the offense for the Saints with a 1-2 game at the plate with two RBIs and a walk as Jan Luis Torres (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) sparked the Knights with a 1-2 batting effort with a walk and a double with two double plays on defense. 

Elite Cruise To Blowout Win

Elite Baseball Training- Chicago 2018 scored early and often as they cruised to an easy 11-0 win in five innings over the GCBA Black Sox 14U. The Elite powered their way to 13 team hits and were led by perfect performances by Kevin Garcia (2018, Notre Dame High School For Boys, IL) and Anthony Deconcilis (2018, Lake Park HS, IL). Both players went 3-3 at the plate with an RBI as Garcia picked up three runs scored as Deconcilis added two runs scored and a stolen base. 

Parker Aquino (2018, St. Laurence HS, IL) took home the win for the Elite for his full game on the mound. Aquino allowed two hits and no runs while walking none and striking out eight with a four-pitch rotation featuring a fastball averaging 76 mph and topping out at 79 mph. 

Palm Beach Rallies, Wins 2-1

The Palm Beach Select Gold picked up both of their runs late in the sixth inning as they rallied back to take a 2-1 win over the Houston Banditos. Andrew Johnson (2018, Oxbridge Academy, FL) led the Select offense to five hits with two of his own, going a perfect 2-2 at the plate with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base. 

Peter Cowley (2018, Jupiter HS, FL) picked up the win for the Select for his six innings on the mound, throwing 84 pitches and allowing seven hits and one earned run while walking one and striking out none. Cowley showed command all around the plate with all his pitches and uses his lower half, but has stiff arm action and short arms the ball with limited arm speed. 

Zayne Watson (2018, The Woodlands HS, TX) is credited with the loss for the Banditos for going all seven innings on the mound, throwing 86 pitches and allowing five hits and two runs, both earned, while walking one and striking out six. Waston showed control on both sides of the plate while changing speeds and attacking hitters with good command of a 12/6 curveball as his out pitch. 

Wild Pitch Gives Astros Win

The East Cobb Astros 14U needed a wild pitch to score the winning run and take the win 3-2 over the Mid-Atlantic Red Sox despite being outhit 2-3 and committing two fielding errors. Anthony Seigler (2018, Cartersville HS, GA) provided the late-game heroics, getting on with a single to right field, advancing on two errors before scoring thanks to the wild pitch. Abraham Mow (2017, Milford Senior HS, DE) sparked the Red Sox offense with a 2-3 game at the plate with a run scored and a stolen base.

The Astros bullpen dug deep to find success on the mound, putting five different pitchers on the mound before Seigler took the win, tossing one and a third innings and allowing one hit and one unearned run while walking none and striking out two. Seigler found the strike zone on 78 percent of his pitches and used a fastball averaging 76 mph and topping out at 79 mph.

Banditos Black Rout So Cal NTT

The Banditos Black scored early and often, routing the So Cal NTT 14U 15-0 in two and a half innings. The Banditos knocked in seven hits from six different players and was led by Hunter Watson (2018, Denison HS, TX) and his 2-3 game at the plate. Watson added a game-high four RBIs and two runs scored with a double. 

The Banditos bullpen had three pitchers come together for a no-hitter with Thomas Burbank (2018, Legacy Christian Academy, TX) taking the win for pitching the first inning. Burbank threw 19 pitches and allowed no hits or runs while walking one and striking out one, showing good command and mound presence with a fastball averaging 79 mph and topping out at 81 mph. 

Fifth Inning Spurt Gives Moulton Win

Team Rawlings Moulton used a six-run fifth inning to spark a blowout win over the Florida Royals 14U, taking advantage of three fielding errors while limiting the Royal offense to only three hits. Team Rawlings had six different players knock each of their six hits with Jacob Houlton (2018, Bacon County HS, GA) knocking his over the fence to finish 1-3 with two RBIs and a run scored thanks to a two-run shot in the fifth. 

Jacob Burton (2018, New Diana HS, TX) took home the win for Team Rawlings for his five and a third innings, allowing three hits and two runs, one earned, while walking five and striking out nine. Burton showed mound presence with a balanced delivery, effortless arm action and pinpoint command of a five-pitch rotation featuring a 11/5 or a 1/7 curveball, a good sink change-up that flashes potential, a splitter that is his out pitch, and a fastball averaging 74 mph and topping out at 78 mph.

The game was a pitchers duel, with Jared Cox (2018, Atlantic Coast HS, FL) leading the way for the Warriors win from the mound. Cox tossed five and a third innings to start out the game, allowing four hits and one unearned run while walking two and striking out four with a three-pitch rotation featuring a curveball, change-up and a fastball averaging 71 mph and topping out at 79 mph. The South Louisiana Select blanked the SWFL 14U to take their first win of the tournament 8-0 taking advantage of three fielding errors and logging nine stolen bases. The Select offense knocked nine hits from six different players and was led by Mason Kilgore (2017, Central Lafourche HS, LA). Kilgore had a perfect game at the plate, finishing 3-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases. 

Mason Turner (2018, Terrabonne HS, LA) picked up the win for the Select for his four innings on the mound to start out the game. Turner threw 41 pitches and allowed no hits or runs while walking one and striking out two with a fastball averaging 74 mph and topping out at 77 mph.

Connor Pavolony (2018, River Ridge HS, GA) and Caleb Harris (2018, North Paulding HS, GA) led the way on offense for the Pride with both players going 2-3 at the plate with two RBIs with Pavolony adding a run scored and two stolen bases and Harris picking up a stolen base. Kendal Riley (2018, Terra Haute North Vigo HS, IN) sparked the Prospect offense with a perfect 3-3 game at the plate with an RBI and a run scored.

Harris picked up the win for the Pride for his three innings on the mound to start out the game, allowing three hits and three runs, all earned, while walking four and striking out two with a fastball averaging 70 mph and topping out at 74 mph.

Next Level 14U put up eight runs in the sixth inning on their way to a 13-1 rout of the CFBL 2018 Select in six innings. The Next Level offense put up 11 runs from eight different players and was led by Jozesf Rohrbacher (2019, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) and Caleb Boutwell (2018, Bainbridge HS, FL). Both players went 2-4 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored with Rohrbacher knocking a triple and Boutwell adding two stolen bases. The Select offense went down swinging, logging seven hits of their own as Marcos DeJesus (2018, East Ridge HS, FL) sparked the offense with a 2-3 game at the plate with an RBI.

JD Gladden (2019, Maclay HS, FL) picked up the win for Next Level for his three innings on the mound to start out the game. Gladden allowed two hits and no runs while walking one and striking out none with a fastball averaging 70 mph and topping out at 73 mph.

Cendoya finished 2-3 at the plate with three RBIs and two runs scored as Dejuan VanDyke (2017, Mundy's Mill HS, GA) turned his single into three RBIs. 

Kelvin Smith (2018, Fayette County HS, GA) took home the win for DeMarini for his three innings on the mound to start out the game. Smith allowed two hits and one earned run while walking two and striking out four with a fastball averaging 76 mph and topping out at 79 mph. 

Canes, Jaguars Battle to 7-7 Tie

The Jaguars offense showed it's potency with 12 team hits from eight different players while being led by Billy Zinnershine (2018, Lassiter HS, GA). Zinnershine provided a consistent bat with a perfect 3-3 game at the plate with two RBIs. Ihosvany Castaneda (2017, Monsignor Edward Pace HS, FL) provided the power behind the Canes offense, knocking out a three-run homer in the third and a sac fly in the fourth to finish 1-2 with a game-high four RBIs and a run scored. 

Chain Stealth Rally Late for Win

Chain Stealth needed a furious rally late, scoring all four of their runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the 4-3 win over the Diamond Jacks Super 14 remain undefeated and take sole possession of first place in the Pool BB standings.

Caleb Flores (2018, Frostproof HS, FL) provided the late game heroics for Chain Stealth, knocking out a bases-loaded triple to tie the game up and scoring the winning run himself off a sacrifice fly to finish 1-2 at the plate with a game-high three RBIs, a stolen base and a run scored with a triple and a walk. Christian Hlinka (2018, Delaware Valley HS, NJ) sparked the Jacks with a 2-2 game at the plate with a double and an RBI 

Flores also picked up the win from the mound after tossing three and two-thirds innings for Chain Stealth, allowing four hits and no runs while walking two and striking out five with a fastball averaging 74 mph and topping out at 78 mph.

The Florida Pokers 14U picked up the shutout win after six runs in the sixth inning iced the game to take the 8-0 over the West Florida Elite Baseball Club in six innings. The Pokers logged eight hits from seven different players and were led on offense by Earl Semper (2017, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL). Semper finished 2-3 at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored with a triple and a 0-2 solo homer to spark the rally in the sixth inning. 

Eddie Ayala (2017, J. P. Taravella HS, FL) took home the win for going the distance on the mound and tossing all seven innings for the Pokers. Ayala allowed four hits and no runs while walking one and striking out five after finding the strike zone on 75 percent of his pitches with a fastball averaging 71 mph and topping out at 75 mph.

Kiernan Tosses No-Hitter in Wolfpack Win

The Connecticut Wolfpack 14U got a no-hitter shutout from pitcher Danny Kiernan (2017, Fairfield College Preparatory, CT) and took the win 8-0 in five innings. The Wolfpack jumped on the board early after putting up five runs in the first inning.

Kiernan ran the show from the mound with a help from his defense, throwing 36 pitches with 11 groundouts, three flyouts and having a strike percentage of 70 percent while both walking and striking out one. Kiernan worked fast from the mound and showed good command on both sides of the plate with a balanced delivery and sound mechanics on a fastball averaging 67 mph and topping out at 69 mph.

Offense Shines in Titans Win

The Coast Titans flexed it's offensive might as it routed the NF Young Guns 9-1, holding the Young Gun offense to three hits, turning six double plays and forcing two fielding errors. Seven Titans logged 13 team hits and were led on offense by Jarret Eaton (2018, St. Paul's Episcopal HS, AL) and Oliver Willman (2018, St. Paul's Episcopal HS, AL). Both players had perfect 3-3 games at the plate with Eaton picking up two runs scored, a double and a stolen base with a double play on defense as Willman picked up an RBI, two runs scored and a triple.

The Wake Rays 14U shutout the East Cobb Nine and took the win 3-0 after scoring all of their runs in the first two innings. Seven players logged eight team hits for the Rays and were led on offense by Evan Poole (2017, Athens Drive HS, NC) and his 2-3 game at the plate with an RBI and a double.

Chris Tarpey (2017, Harnett Central HS, NC) provided the bulk of the defense for the Rays from the mound, tossing six and a third innings and picking up the win for his efforts. Tarpey threw 87 pitches and allowed five hits and no runs while walking none and striking out five with a fastball averaging 72 mph and topping out at 76 mph.

Draw For Seminoles and Banditos

The Georgia Seminoles and the Houston Banditos ended their battle in a 4-4 draw.

The Seminoles were led by Cameron Hill (2018, Mableton, GA) at the plate.  Hill went 2-3 with two singles and scored two runs.  Luke Camp (2017, Powder Springs, GA) had two RBIs and Tavion Jackson (2018, Snellville, GA) and Trent Jamison (2017, Eastpoint, GA) both recorded one.  Jackson also pitched 4.0 innings and finished with two strikeouts and one walk.  

Justin Collins (2017, Magnolia, TX) recorded five strikeouts on the hill for the Banditos.  Collins threw 47 fastballs and topped the gun at 77 mph.  Joshua Rodriguez (2018, Spring, TX) helped out his pitcher by hitting a RBI double in the bottom of the 3rd.  

GC Titans too much for Team Elite Black

The Grove City Titans defeated Team Elite Black by a score of 10-4.  Tristin Siemer (2018, Columbus, OH) had a big day for the Titans.  Siemer went 3-4 with a double and one RBI.  From the mound, Siemer recorded three K's in 2.0 innings.  Chris Bruce (2018, Grove City, OH) went 2-3 with two RBIs and Branden Hopper (2018, Orient, OH) went 2-4 with one RBI.  Bruce also tossed 4.0 innings and allowed just one walk and struck out four.  

Ty King-Richards (2018, Snellville, GA) went 2-3 for Team Elite Black.  Parker Hildebrecht (2017, Cumming, GA) and Parker Freeman (2017, Cumming, GA) both had RBIs. 

South Miami Escapes Bonne Paws

South Miami Baseball edged the Bonnie Paws by a score of 6-5.

Jordan Arroyo (2018, Miami, FL) had two of the four South Miami hits in the contest.  Arroyo tallied two RBIs, two runs, and one stolen base.  Zachary Rivero (2017, Homestead, FL) and Daniel Irisarri (2018, Miami, FL) both had hits for the victors. 

Robert De Paz (2017, Miami, FL) picked up the win on the bump.  De Paz allowed just one hit and struck out three in his 3.1 innings of work.  His fastball sat at 71-72 mph and touched 75 mph.  

For the Bonnie Paws, Jose Martinez (2018, New York, NY) had two hits and Octrayvyn Boucaud (Brooklyn, NY) had two RBIs.  Cesar Santana (2017, Brooklyn, NY) had four K's from the bump for the Paws.

The C2 Dirtbags defeated PBC PAL 14U by a score of 6-2.  The C2 Dirtbags improved to 3-0, while PBC PAL 14U fell to 0-3.  

Jaren Burks (2018, Houston, TX) had a big day for the Dirtbags.  Burks went 2-3 with a RBI and recorded two stolen bases.  Andrew Rash (2017, Houston, TX), Peter Geib (2018, Houston, TX), Kyle Croft (2018, Missouri City, TX), Blake Ehlinger (2018, Sugar Land, TX), Ty Thacker (2018, Missouri City, TX), and Owen Meany (2018, Houston, TX) all had hits for Burks.  

Tyler Reinhardt (2018, Lake Jackson, TX) was the winning pitcher in the contest.  Reinhardt went 4.0 innings and struck out six PBC hitters.

Team Dugout 14U handled the South Oakland A's Horvath by a score of 4-1. Luke Gutos (2018, Cherry Hill, NJ) went 2-3 with two singles and a RBI for Team Dugout.  Shane McCafferty (2018, Philadelphia, PA) contributed by going 1-2 with one RBI.

Nick Oday (2018, Coatesville, PA) was impressive in his 1.2 innings on the hill.  Oday's statistics include 0 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, and 5 K's.  His fastball sat at 83-84 mph and touched 86 mph.  

Pitching was solid throughout he contest for Team Dugout.  Andrew Brady (2018, Landenberg, PA) also allowed no hits, no runs, and struck out four.  

Ryan Knutson (2018, Lake Orion, MI) had the lone hit for the A's.

The Home Plate Chilidogs fell to the IBAHS Knights by a score of 6-2.  

Hamilkar Medina (2017, Trujillo Alto, PR) picked up the win on the hill for the Knights.  Medina went 5.0 innings and allowed three hits, three walks, and struck out one.  His fastball touched 76 mph.  Yadler Ortiz (2017, Trujillo Alto, PR) threw the final 2.0 innings and allowed no walks and struck out three. 

Vicente Castro (2017, Trujillo Alton, PR) went 3-4 with two RBIs.  Juan Lopez (2017, Trujillo, PR) recorded a triple and a RBI.  The Knights improved their record to 2-1 with the win.  

Alex Cawood (2018, Sharpsburg, GA) went 1-3 with two RBIs for the Chilidogs.  Dawson Sweatt (2018, Fayetteville, GA) was impressive in his 3.1 innings on the hill.  Sweatt allowed no earned runs, one hit, and struck out six.  

Elite Squad 14U Gets Shutout Win

The Elite Squad 14U defeated the Texas Hardball Navy by a score of 8-0.  

Jared Defaria (2018, Fort Lauderdale, FL) was the winning pitcher in the contest.  Defaria went 4.0 innings and allowed no earned runs, two walks, and struck out one.  His fastball sat at 71-74 mph and touched 76 mph.  Defaria helped out himself in the 2nd by smashing a RBI double to centerfield.  

Alexandro Belio (2018, Miami Lakes, FL) went 2-3 with a RBI for the Elite Squad.  Belio showed good speed on the base path, as he stole two bases.  

Jake Holland (2019, Miami Lakes, FL) went 1-3 with a RBI.  Holland also pitched the final inning for the Elite Squad and recorded three straight outs.  

Reed Hodges (2018, Round Rock, TX) led the Navy squad in hits with two.  

Caloosa Cats vs CBC 14U Riverhawks

The CBC 14U Riverhawks dropped the Caloosa Cats by a score of 4-2 Saturday.

Jack Merrifield (2018, St. Augustine, FL) recorded two RBIs in the contest for the Riverhawks.  Merrifield had a sac fly in the bottom of the 2nd to score John Amell (2018, St. Johns, FL).  In the bottom of the 4th, Merrifield singled to left field to score Amell again.  Amell also tossed 2.1 innings and struck out two Cat hitters.  Amell was also disruptive on the base path, as he finished with three stolen bases.  

Tyler Flemming (2018, St. Johns, FL), Matthew O'Brien (2018, St. Johns, FL), and Jake Fisher (2018, St. Johns, FL) all had hits for the Riverhawks.  

Angel Vargas (2018, Labelle, FL) went 2-3 and Jaxon Purvis (2018, Labelle, FL) had the lone RBI for the Cats.

The Tigers scored five runs off five hits.  Gabriel Kurtzhals (2018, Fort Worth, TX) led the Tigers by going 2-2 with one RBI.  Tanner Lawrence (2018, Tulsa, OK) went 1-2 with one RBI and Logan Layer (2018, Rowlett, TX) went 1-2 with a double. 

Joshua Lewis (2018, Fitzhugh, OK) tossed 3.0 innings for the Tigers.  Lewis allowed no hits, no walks, and struck out two.  His fastball maxed out at 77 mph.

Jordan Bustabad (2017, West Palm Beach, FL) went 2-3 with two RBIs for the Busty Bulls.  Alex Rao (2018, Hobe Sound, FL) went 1-2 and scored one run.  Rao has an athletic frame and hits the ball to the gaps.

The Carolina Bruins defeated the MVP Elite Squad by a score of 6-0 Saturday at Terry Park.  

Angel Zarate (2017, Reidsville, NC) went 3.0 innings on the hill for the Bruins.  Zarate allowed no hits, one walk, and struck out six.  His fastball sat at 74-77 mph and touched 78 mph.  From the plate, Zarate went 2-4 with a double and three RBIs.

Kier Meredith (2017, Winston-Salem, NC) went 2-3 with two stolen bases for the Bruins.  Kyle Blendinger (2017, High Point, NC) went 1-3 with one RBI and Darrell Smith (2017, Danville, VA) recorded a single and two stolen bases.  Blendinger also picked up the W on the hill for the victors.  The right-hander struck out three in 2.0 innings of work.  His fastball sat at 80-84 mph and touched 85 mph.

Turner Pushes Select to Narrow 2-1 Victory

The East Cobb Select defeated the Elite Baseball Training-Chicago 2018 2-1 in seven innings. 

Noah Turner (2017, Powder Springs, GA) provided a lot of the offense for the Select. He finished a perfect 3-3 with two singles and a double. He drove in one of the two RBIs for the team. Sam Kuchinksi (2017, Powder Springs, GA) connected with the other RBI off his double. Ethan Underwood (2018, Kennesaw, GA) contributed with a pair of singles and later scoring for his team.

Kuchinski also took the mound for his team by going the complete game. He scattered 11 hits and only let one run to score on him. He only walked one batter and struck out seven opponents. He ran the gun up to 81 mph with his fastball. 

Kevin Garcia (2018, Yorkville, IL) led the Elite Baseball team by going a perfect 3-3 with a solo home run, double, and a single. Noah Ernst (2018, Naperville, IL) and Anthony Deconcilis (2018, Bloomingdale, IL) each helped with a pair of singles, and Cameron Falk (2018, Yorkville, IL) and Niko Pozzi (2018, Schererville, IN) added on a single of their own. Jake Miller (2018, Yorkville, IL) and Nicholas Wells (2018, Apopka, FL) contributed singles to help out their team. 

Pozzi took the mound for an inning. He did not allow a hit, walk, or a run to occur. He led the team with two strikeouts in the game. He maxed out the radar at 78 mph. Wells pitched the longest with four innings. He scattered six hits with both runs to score on him. He did not walk a batter and struck out one. He maxed out the gun at 76 mph with his fastball. 

Errors Hurt Giants in Shortened Game

The Central Florida Gators 14U defeated the Gotham Giants 14U 5-0 in three innings.

Elijah Cabell (2018, Winter Park, FL) led off the the Gators and went a perfect 1-1 with a double. He tacked on a RBI and a pair of runs. Andrew Roberts (2019, Altamonte Springs, FL) also helped by going 1-2 with a RBI single and a run. Mason Denaburg (2018, Merritt Island, FL) contributed a double and a run for his team, and Leo Alfonzo (2018, St. Cloud, FL) knocked a single and later scored.

Tyler Callihan (2019, Jacksonville, FL) tossed 1.1 innings for his team. He let one hit fall without a run to score. He walked two and struck out one batter. He ran the gun up to 85 mph with his fastball. Gunnar Hoglund (2018, Hudson, FL) took the last 1.2 innings. He did not give up a hit, walk, or a run. He struck out three on his 85 mph fastball. 

Matthew Semon (2018, Valley Cottage, NY) was the only player for the Giants to connect for a single in the game.

The Bergen Blue Crew defeated the SWFL Canes Elite 6-4 in six innings.

For the Blue Crew, Sammy Ramirez (2018, Orlando, FL) led the offense by going 2-2 with two singles and a run. Bennet Shell (2018, Pace, FL), Ben Diaz (2018, Teaneck, NJ), and Aydon Chavis (2017, Cream Ridge, NJ) each contributed a single and a run for their team. Colton Johnson (2017, Cream Ridge, NJ) tossed all six innings and allowed three hits and only two earned runs to score. He walked two and struck out two batters. He ran the gun up to 66 mph. 

Luke Endsley (2017, Cape Coral, FL) tried to light a spark for the Canes by going 1-2 with a RBI single and two runs. Ivan Cotto (2017, Fort Myers, FL) and Trevor Peckham (2018, Fort Myers, FL) each helped with a single.  Brandin Muniz (2017, North Port, FL) went the longest with 4.1 innings. He scattered seven hits with four runs to score with one being earned. He did not walk a batter and struck out one batter. He maxed out the gun at 76 mph. 

Simmons Homers In Victory

Titans Sports Academy handled the Busty Bulls - Black 14U by a score of 9-1.

In the bottom half of the 5th, Kendall Simmons (2018, Macon, GA) smashed a two run, line drive home run to left field.  From the infield, Simmons is a playmaker with a strong, accurate arm.  Braxton Dieckhaus (2017, Dayton, TN) had a double and two RBIs and Jacorey Boudreaux (2017, Spring, TX) went 2-2 and scored two runs.  Boudreaux has great instincts on the bases and is a patient hitter at the plate.  From the mound, Boudreaux struck out four and allowed no hits in 2.0 innings of work.  

Alec Mendez (2018, Wellington, FL) had the lone bit for the Busty Bulls.  

Manatee Prospects Get 6-4 Win

The Manatee Prospects improved to 2-1 as they defeated the GCBA Black Sox 14U 6-4. Max Dlugozima (2017, Boca Ciega, FL) and Wesley Quick (2018, Palmetto, FL) both had two hits for the Prospects.  Camden Schmitt (2018, Palmetto, FL) showed off his speed and power by recording a triple to centerfield in the top of the 3rd.  Schmitt also pitched 1.1 innings and recorded three punch-outs.  

The GCBA Black Sox dropped their record to 1-2.  Marshall (#2) led the Black Sox in hits with two.  Neskale (#13), Mitchell (#29), and Veliz (#66) all had RBIs on the day.

City of Palms Park was the site for this showdown between the Palm Beach Select Gold and the FTB55 Elite.  FTB55 Elite prevailed by a score of 5-3.  

Dylan Bell (2017, Orlando, FL) went 2-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Elite.  Adam Torres (2017, Kissimmee, FL) went 1-3 with a double and Aaron Ahn (2017, Marlboro, NJ) recorded a RBI.  Ahn also pitched 3.0 innings and struck out three Select batters.  His fastball sat at 73-74 mph and touched 77 mph.

The Central Florida Gators - Blue defeated the SBO Puerto Rico by a score of 12-0 Saturday.  The game lasted just two innings, as the Gators tallied 11 total hits in the contest.  With the win, the Gators improved their record to 2-1, while SBO Puerto Rico fell to 0-3.

Trenton Brickhouse (2017, Deltona, FL) went 2-2 with a triple and two RBIs for the Gators.  Alexander Ramos (2017, Lakeland, FL) also recorded a triple and a RBI.  Carson Schlegel (2017, Clermont, FL) and Ty Hoyle (2018, St. Cloud, FL) both had two hits in the victory. 

Tyler Isenberg (2018, Orange Park, FL) picked up the win on the hill.  Isenberg threw just one inning but struck out three straight hitters.  

ESA Rivals Black vs. Stingers Panhandle 14U

The ESA Rivals Black edged the Stingers Panhandle 14U by a score of 2-1. 

Michael Betrus (2018, Lewisville, TX) led the Rivals in hits by going 3-3 with three singles.  Mason Englert (2018, Forney, TX) had a RBI double in the top of the 1st that helped the Rivals take the early lead.  Ryan Humphries (2018, Sulphur Springs, TX) also had a hit for the victors.

Jacoby Bogue (2017, Grand Saline, TX) threw 4.2 innings for the Rivals.  Bogue allowed only two hits, two walks, and struck out four. His fastball topped the gun at 79 mph.  Jonathan Childress (2018, Forney, TX) was also impressive on the hill for the Rivals.  Childress tossed 2.1 innings, allowed no earned runs, and struck out four.

James Cardinale (2018, Cammock, NY) led the offensive surge for the Lookouts by going 2-3 with two singles, two RBIs, and two runs. Ryan Bauman (2018, Brookhaven, NY) helped with a pair of hits with a single and a double. He added on a RBI for his team. Mark Maurelli (2017, Coram, NY) and Jared Donnelly (2018, Mount Sinai, NY) joined in with a single and at least one run. 

Frankie Papanikolatos (2017, Potachogue, NY) tossed most of the game by going 3.2 innings. He scattered eight his with four runs to score on him. He ran the gun up to 69 mph with his fastball. 

Hunter Young (2018, Bloomingdale, GA) led the Chain Black by going 2-2 with two singles and a RBI. Hunter Hart (2018, Beaverdam, VA) started for the Canes on the mound. He went two innings while scattering a pair of hits. He did not let a run score. He walked one batter and struck out two. He maxed out the gun at 78 mph with his fastball. Logan Barker (2017, Stafford, VA) took 1.2 innings without giving up a hit or a run. He did not walk a single batter and struck out three. He ran the gun up to 80 mph with his fastball. 

Camden Grimes (2018, Glen Allen, VA) led the offensive surge for Evoshield by going 2-3 with a single and a double while driving in a pair of RBIs and scoring once. Thomas Francisco (2018, Abingdon, VA) and Tyler Casagrande (2018, Leesburg, VA) each contributed two singles with two RBIs, and Francisco added a pair of runs for his team. Hart and Jack Dragum (2018, Mechanicsville, VA) connected with a RBI double to help extend the lead. Austin Beeching (2018, Mason, OH) led the offensive surge for the Spikes by going 2-3 with a single and a double. He was able to drive in a pair of RBIs and score once. Allbry Major (2017, Indianapolis, IN) joined in with a two RBI triple for his team, and Daunte DeCello (2018, Oxford, OH) contributed a pair of hits with a single and a double while plating one run and scoring twice. Keegan Fish (2018, Liberty Township, OH) connected with a RBI single and touched home once. Braedon Norman (2019, Vandalia, OH) joined in with a single and a pair of runs. 

AJ King (2018, Cincinnati, OH) went the complete game for the Spikes. He went the complete five innings. He scattered four hits and only let a pair of earned runs score on him. He was able to strike out four while touching 75 mph with his fastball.

The Wake Rays 14U defeated the Palm Beach Select Green 7-0 in seven innings. 

Wes Noles (2018, Fuquay Varina, NC) led the surge for the Rays by his performance on the mound. He went six impressive innings and did not allow a run. He let three hits fall without giving up a walk. He was able to strike out four while touching 69 mph with his fastball.

Conner Redmond (2017, Angier, NC) offensively led the surge by going 2-3 with a double and a single. He was able to drive in one RBI. Evan Poole (2017, Raleigh, NC) helped with a pair of singles and a RBI as well. Ty Birling (2017, Cary, NC) connected with a RBI single and a run to help his team. Connor Lane (2018, Clayton, NC) contributed a single and later touching home. 

For the Palm Beach Select, four different batters added to get the four total hits for the team. Dalton Kraft (2018, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) showed some presence on the mound by going most of the game for his team. He scattered four hits with only one earned run. He walked a pair but struck out three batters on his 78 mph fastball. 

Bombers Route Team Rawlings PSA 9-1

The Bronx Bombers defeated Team Rawlings PSA 9-1 in five innings.

Jason Pineda (2017, Bronx, NY) crushed a solo home run for the Bombers in the game. Freddy Rojas (2017, Brooklyn, NY) contributed a RBI double to collect the only double for his team. Luke McDonald (2016, Staten Island, NY), Marc Maestri (2017, Katonah, NY), and Kennee Torres (2017, Yonkers, NY) each connected for a RBI single and later scored to add on another run. 

Jimmy Abreu (2018, Bronx, NY) took the mound for the Bombers. He went four innings while letting six hits fall with only one run to score. He did not walk a batter and struck out three. He maxed out the gun at 71 mph with his fastball. Rojas also came in to toss the last inning. He did not give up a hit, run, or walk during his time. He was able to strike out one while touching 75 mph. 

Harrison Norman (2018, Dalton, GA) tried to light a spark for Team Rawlings. He connected with two singles along with a RBI. Cade Gabriel (2018, Dalton, GA) roped the only extra base hit for his team with a double. 

Prospects Remain Undefeated

The All American Prospects defeated the Baseball Scoutz 14U by a score of 13-1.  The All American Prospects moved to 3-0 and have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 24-9.  Hunter Martinez (2018, Sebring, FL) went 1-1 with a triple and two RBIs.  Martinez showed good speed around the bases and is a gap-to-gap hitter.  Zach Young (2018, Sebastian, Beach, FL) went 1-2 with two RBIs.  Young has a good eye at the plate and demonstrated good bat speed.  Case Howell (2017, Palm City, FL) and Reid Bass (2017, Vero Beach, FL) also had two RBIs for the All American Prospects.

Eddie Simchick (2018, Sebastian, FL) went 3.0 innings on the hill for the All American Prospects.  Simchick allowed just one hit, two walks, and struck out two.  He has a smooth delivery and good movement on his 77 mph fastball.

The Orlando Baseball Academy 14U handled Team DeMarini of Wisconsin 14U by a score of 10-2.  Rodwell Munoz (2017, Apopka, FL) went 1-2 with three RBIs for Orlando Baseball.  Munoz doubled to centerfield in the bottom of the 2nd to extend the Orlando lead.  Jackson Roberts (2018, Apopka, FL) went 2-2 with one RBI and recorded a stolen base.

Team Elite Steel handled the Illinois Pythons by a score of 12-0 Saturday.  Micah Rentz (2018, Baxley, GA) threw 4.0 innings for Team Elite.  Rentz allowed no hits, one walk, and struck out five.  His fastball sat at 73-74 mph and maxed out at 76 mph.

Team Elite tallied eleven hits in the contest.  Drew Brady (2017, Watkinsville, GA) went 2-3 and led the way in RBIs with three.  Brady has excellent bat speed and drives the ball with regular contact.  Phillip Suiter (2018, Leesburg, GA) went 2-3 with three RBIs and recorded three stolen bases.  

Josh Schuetz (2017, Romeoville, IL) struck out three and allowed just one walk for the Pythons.

The RI Rays defeated the Iron Pigs 6-2 Saturday at Rays Stadium.  Nicholas D'Ambra (2017, Coventry, RI) hit a two run homer in the top of the 5th for the Rays.  D'Ambra's homer cleared the right field wall and he also recorded a single on the day.  Christopher O'Donnell (2017, Saunderstown, RI) also had two RBIs for the victors.

Jarrad Grossguth (2017, Coventry, RI) tossed 2.0 innings for the Rays.  Grossguth allowed just one hit, no earned runs, and struck out three. He showed good speed as his fastball maxed out at 78 mph.

The FBH Angels 14U edged the Northern Valley Ravens 14U by a score of 9-8.  

Jamarcus Lyons (2018, Tampa, FL) recorded a double, a triple, and two RBIs for the Angels.  Lyons smoked the game winning double in the bottom of the 6th that scored two teammates.  Austin Eldridge (2018, Plant City, FL) also had a big day for the Angels, as he went 2-3 with four RBIs.

Correl Caddle (2018, Jersey City, NJ) went 2-4 with two RBIs for the Ravens.  David Estevez (2018, River Edge, NJ) showed good speed as he hit a triple in the top of the 3rd.

Matt Sexton (2018, Cedar Park, TX) allowed just two hits in 7.0 innings of work on the hill.  Sexton struck out two and had his fastball top out at 73 mph.  From the plate, Sexton went 2-2 with a double.  Matthew Villanueva (2018, Austin, TX) led the Banditos in hits with three and had one RBI.  Justin Moore (2018, Austin, TX) went 2-3 with a RBI.

Luca Tresh (2018, Safety Harbor, FL) and Michael Reagan (2018, Safety Harbor, FL) both had hits for the Mustangs.  Tanner Baker (2018, Safety Harbor, FL) pitched 2.2 innings and recorded four strikeouts.  

9 Stars Saints beat SWFL 14U.

9 Stars Saints cruises past SWFL 14U, 12-3 victory. Logan Millsaps (Pickens County, Jasper, GA 2017) racked up three RBIs on three hits for nine Stars Saints. It didn't take long for SWFL 14U to respond as it scored two runs of its own in the first. SWFL 14U scored on a two-run single by Clayton Lambing (Ida Baker, Cape Coral, FL 2018).

John Reed Evans (Cartersville, Cartersville, GA 2018) shut down SWFL 14U while he was on the mound. SWFL 14U managed just one hit off of the nine Stars Saints' pitcher. He allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out during his three innings of work. Tyler Litten (Island Coast, Cape Coral, FL 2018) lasted 1 2/3 innings of work on the hill. He allowed two hits and five runs.

C2 Dirtbags defeats Jacksonville Warriors 14U 7-4. Blake Ehlinger (Kempner, Sugar Land, TX 2018) went 3-3 at the plate help his team get the victory today. He doubled in third inning and singled in the second and sixth innings. Jacksonville Warriors 14U's Isaiah Byars (Oakleaf, Orange Park, FL 2018) was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Kernie Baker III (Needville, Needville, TX 2017) got the win for C2 Dirtbags. He allowed two runs over 2 2/3 innings with striking out two, walked one and surrendered five hits. Jack Emling (Sandalwood, Jacksonville, FL 2018) lasted 1 2/3 innings on the mound for Jacksonville Warriors 14U before the call to the bullpen. He gave up nine hits and six runs.

Florida Royals beat East Cobb Pride.

The Florida Royals 14U defeat East Cobb Pride 14U 8-7. Andrew Cappeller (Undecided, Boca Raton, FL 2018) boosted his batting average thanks to going perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Florida Royals. He singled in the second and fifth innings. Khary Lewis II (Hillgrove, Marietta, GA 2018) was the hot hitter for the East Cobb Pride 14U. He went 2-3 for the game with scoring one run and had one RBI.

Adam Will (Olympic Heights Community, Boca Raton, FL 2018) allowed six in three, but bullpen gave up one run and the offense banged out six to pick up the slack. Jason Chandilall (Coral Springs Charter, Coral Springs, FL 2018) got the win in relief for the Florida Royals 14U. He pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed one run. Jackson First (Etowah, Woodstock, GA 2018) took the loss for East Cobb Pride 14U. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

Carolina Bruins beat PBA Black 14U.

PBA Black 14U falls 16-6 at the hands of Carolina Bruins. Darrell Smith (George Washington, Danville, VA 2017) racked up two RBIs on three hits for Carolina Bruins. Carolina Bruins easily handled PBA Black 14U pitching as eight batters combined for fifteen hits, thirteen RBIs, and twelve runs scored.

Jared Burrell (Bassett, Marlinsville, VA 2017) looked sharp on the mound. He held PBA Black 14U hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three. Isaiah Finerty (Eastern Guilford, Gibsonville, NC 2017) got the win for Carolina Bruins. He allowed two runs over two innings with striking out two, walked one and gave up three hits. Jeffrey Pelletier (Palmetto Ridge, Naples, FL 2017) was charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out one.

ESA Rivals Black tied Palm Beach.

ESA Rivals Black tied Palm Beach Select Green. Mason Englert (Forney, Forney, TX 2018) was the hot hitter for the ESA Rivals Black. He went 1-3 for the game. Alex Nicholaou (William T. Dwyer, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 2017) was the hot hitter for the Palm Beach Select Green. He went 1-3 for the game.


Connor Lowe (Grand Saline, Grand Saline, TX 2018) was the ace pitcher for the ESA Rivals Black. He tossed four innings worth while giving up five hits and striking out five. Daniel Vaca (Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 2018) was the other pitcher for the Palm Beach Select Green. He tossed four innings worth while giving up three hits and striking out three.

Offense leads FBH Angels in 13-1 rout

The FBH Angels 14U beat the East Cobb Astros 14U on Friday afternoon in a 13-1 rout. Deheron Pressley (2017, Tampa Catholic HS, FL) led the offensive attack for FBH. Pressley was 3-4 on the day with 2 runs scored. Austin Eldridge (2018, Strawberry Crest HS, FL) and Lucus Shannon (2018, Kathleen Senior HS, FL) both finished the game 2-3 with 2 runs scored, as well. Eldridge also drove in a run and Shannon drove in 3. Lead-off hitter Jamarcus Lyons (2018, King HS, FL) was also a major run producer for the Angels. Lyons drove in 3 runs in the game courtesy of a triple. 

Not only did Lyons provide the big hit of the game, but he also started on the mound and threw a complete game for FBH. Lyons pitched all 4 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits and striking out 4. Over the course of his outing, Lyons' fastball averaged a velocity of 76-78 mph and topped out at 82 mph.

Anthony Seigler (2018, Cartersville HS, GA) led East Cobb at the plate, going 1-2 on the afternoon. Seigler's single drove in Ryan Bliss (2018, Troup County HS, GA) for East Cobb's only run of the game.

John pitches Banditos to 9-1 victory

The Banditos of Austin 14U won on Friday over the Long Island Lookouts 1-0 behind Kyle John's (2017, Vista Ridge HS, TX) strong pitching performance. John started the game on the mound for the Banditos and threw a complete game to earn the win. Over his 5 innings of work, John allowed 1 unearned run on 3 hits and struck out 4 batters. 

Andrew Chapa (2018, Vista Ridge HS, TX), Chad Dixon (2018, Westwood HS, TX), and Albert Gonzalez (2018, John B. Alexander HS, TX) all went 2-3 in the game to lead the Banditos on offense. All three players scored a run for the winners, and Dixon contributed a double and 2 RBI. The other double of the game was hit by Jacob Wilson (2018, Vista Ridge HS, TX), who was 1-1 with a run scored. Matthew Villanueva (2018, Hutto HS, TX) supplied another big hit for the Banditos with a single that plated 2 runs. Villanueva, along with Jaylen Williams (2018, Stony Point HS, TX), scored twice in the win.

Clean-up hitter Austin Sala (2017, Smithtown Christian HS, NY) led the Long Island offense, going 1-2 and scoring their only run. 

Team Rawling PSA moves on with 5-0 win

Team Rawling PSA won on Friday afternoon over the West Florida Elite Baseball Club, 5-0. Sebastian Orozco (2017, Northwest Whitfield County HS, GA) energized Team Rawling's offense, going 2-2 with a run scored. Jaden Baggett (2018, North Murray HS, GA) was also an instrumental figure in PSA's win. Baggett scored 2 runs for the winners and finished 1-1 with an RBI-double. Kyric McGowan (2017, Dalton HS, GA) and Caleb Ramsey (2018, Dalton HS, GA) also hit doubles for the winners. 

Trenton Collins (2017, Coahulla Creek HS, GA) covered the final 4 innings of the game in relief to be awarded the win. Collins allowed 1 unearned run on 1 hit and struck out 3 batters in his appearance. His fastball averaged a velocity of 72-75 mph and reached as high as 79 mph by the end of the game. 

Jordan Garcia (2018, James W. Mitchell HS, FL) paced West Florida on offense, going 2-3 on the day. Brandon Frangione (2018, Nature Coast Technical HS, FL) scored the teams lone run, being driven in by Joseph Kinker (2018, Venice Senior HS, FL). Lead-off hitter Abel Diaz (2018, Osceola HS, FL) also tripled for Elite Baseball Club.

Mustangs roll to 9-0 win

The Gulf Coast Mustangs rolled to a 9-0 win on Friday over Chain Black 14U. Brysten Fleming (2018, Dixie M. Hollins HS, FL) paced the Mustang's offensively, finishing 2-2 with a run scored and 1 RBI. Beau Walters (2018, Orlando Christian Prep HS, FL) had the game's big hit with a double that drove in a run. 

Michael Reagan (2018, Clearwater Central Catholic HS, FL) started the game on the mound for Gulf Coast and pitched 4 scoreless innings to earn the win. Reagan allowed 0 runs on 2 hits, while striking out 8 batters. His fastball averaged a velocity of 72-75 mph and reached as high as 78 mph. 

Brandon Weeks (2018, Cook County HS, GA) slugged a double to lead Chain Black at the plate. 

Manatee Prospects cruise to 8-0 win

The Manatee Prospects cruised to a solid 8-0 victory over the Bonnie Paws on Friday afternoon. Adams finished the game 2-2 to lead the Prospect's offense. Lead-off hitter Dylan Buck (2018, Lakewood Ranch, FL) and Andre Fonseca (2018, Braden River, FL) also drove in 2 runs in the game. Wesley Quick (2018, Palmetto, FL) and Max Dlugozima (2017, Boca Ciega, FL) scored twice to pace the offense.

Garrett Cook (2017, Osceola, FL) and Fonseca combined to pitch all 5 innings of the game. Cook started and pitched 4 innings to earn the win. He allowed 0 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 4 batters. Fonseca covered the final inning of the game in relief and struck out 2 of the 3 batters he faced. 

Cesar Santana (2017, La Salle Acadmey HS, NY) and Kyle Torres (2018, High School of Sports Management HS, NY) each had a hit for the Bonnie Paws.

Big second-inning sparks Rawlins 13-3 win

Team Rawlings Moulton scored 10 runs in the bottom of the second-inning on Friday to spark a big 13-3 win over the Indiana Prospects. Jacob Burton (2018, New Diana HS, TX) had a big day offensively for Team Rawlings, going 2-3 with 2 triples and 2 RBI. Connor Gage (2017, Mt. Pleasant HS, TX) collected the other extra-base hit in the game with a double. Gage also drove in 2 runs. Justin Childers (2018, Rockwall HS, TX) was a major run producer in the game, as well. Childers went 2-3 with a run scored and 3 RBI. Diego Muniz (2018, Rockwall HS, TX) and Jacob Holton (2018, Bacon County HS, GA) scored two runs each for the winners.

Dalen Hall (2018, Ardmore HS, OK) pitched 3.1 innings in relief for Team Rawlings to secure the victory. Hall allowed 2 runs on 4 hits and struck out 6 in his appearance. His fastball averaged a velocity of 74-77 mph and topped out at 79 mph.

NF Young Guns beat Baseball Scoutz.

NF Young Guns offense too much for Baseball Scoutz 14U in 10-0 rout. Five runs in the three innings allowed NF Young Guns to put the game away early. Sage Kramer (Gainesville, Gainesville, FL 2018) racked up four RBIs on three hits for NF Young Guns.

Caleb Strickland (Columbia, Lake City, FL 2018) put together a nice outing. Baseball Scoutz 14U managed just one hit off of Strickland. He allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two during his five innings of work. Peyton Massengale (Brentwood, Warthan, GA 2018) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

Wolfpack cruise to 11-3 win

The Connecticut Wolfpack 14U cruised to a big win over MVP Elite Squad on Friday, 11-3. Lead-off hitter Mike Torniero (2018, Notre Dame HS, CT) ignited the offense for Connecticut, finishing 2-3 with a double. Torniero also drove in 2 runs and scored twice. Ryan Meury (2017, Hopkins HS, CT) joined Torniero in scoring twice and gathering 2 RBI. Sam Loda (2017, East Haven HS, CT) also scored 2 runs for the winners. Will Lucas (2018, Fairfield College Preparatory HS, CT) and Dillon Lifrieri (2018, Wilton HS, CT) each finished 2-3 for the Wolfpack to pace the offense. 

James Edwards (2018, Sacred Heart HS, CT) started on the mound for Connecticut and allowed 3 unearned runs on 5 hits to earn the win.

Tyler Kehoe (2019, Gloucester Catholic HS, PA) led MVP in the game, going 2-2 with 3 RBI. 

Caloosa Cats beat MPi 14U.

Sixth-inning rally sparks blowout win for Caloosa Cats, 15-5. Angel Vargas (Labelle, Labelle, FL 2018) racked up two RBIs on three hits for Caloosa Cats. Christian Lamar (Belen Jesuit Prep, Miami, FL 2018) racked up three RBIs on two hits for MPi 14U. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Tyler Burton (Labelle, Labelle, FL 2018) recorded the win for the Caloosa Cats. He allowed three runs over one inning with striking out one, walked two and surrendered two hits. Donovan Ballesteros (Miami Coral Park, Miami, FL 2018) took the loss for MPi 14U. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out one.

Stingers prevail 12-8 in back-and-forth contest

Stingers Panhandle 14U and the Wake Rays 14U traded blows on Friday afternoon, but the Stingers held on to win the game 12-8. Dylan Barrett (2018, Lincoln HS, FL) and Dawson Dudley (2018, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) led the Stingers in hits on the day, going 2-3 each. Both players hit a double and Barrett scored a run. Josiah Miller (2019, Lincoln HS, FL) and Connor Strickland (2018, Bainbridge HS, GA) had the big hits of the game for the Stingers. Miller slugged a 2-run home run and scored twice, and Strickland drove in 3 with a double.

Ty Birling (2017, Panther Creek HS, NC) led the Wake Rays offensively with a perfect 3-3 day at the plate. Birling also drove in a run and scored twice. Tucker Chapin (2018, Rosewood HS, NC), Wes Noles (2018, Fuquay-Varina HS, NC), and Adam Capps (2017, Triton HS, NC) all recorded 2 hits each in the game. Noles doubled and scored a run, and Capps smashed a 2-run triple. Cole Baker (2017, Athens Drive HS, NC) had the other big hit of the game, driving in 2 runs with a single.

Gotham Giants 14U beat IBAHS Knights.

The Gotham Giants 14U seize victory thanks to wild pitch, drop IBAHS Knights 14U 3-2. DiCarlo did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Gotham Giants 14U, reaching base two times. He tripled in the second inning. Cole Bosch (Bergen Catholic, Fair Lawn, NJ 2017) was hot at the plate today for the Gotham Giants 14U. He went 2-3 for the game.

Jeff Hayner's (Kingston, Lake Katrine, NY 2017) six strikeouts helped the Gotham Giants 14U to the victory. He allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks over six innings. Alexander Castro (International Baseball Academy, Trujillo Alto, PR 2017) ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision with getting the loss. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked six, struck out four, and allowed three runs.

Run in Sixth Gives Win to Indiana Prospects

Indiana Prospects scored a run in the bottom of the sixth inning, giving them a 2-1 victory over Florida Royals 14U Friday in Fort Myers.

Alec MacLennan (2018, Franklin HS, IN) drove in both Indiana runs, including the go-ahead run. The two runs were scored Tanner Haston (2018, Mooresville HS, IN) and Colt Munsey (2018, Kokomo HS, IN). Two hits each were provided by Munsey and MacLennon, with the final hit coming from TaRell PeRine (2017, Bloomington South HS, IN).

Garrett Copley (2018, Brownsburg HS, IN) earned the win for pitching two perfect innings with five strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 78 mph. Luke Mitchell (2018, Pendleton Heights HS, IN) tossed the first five innings, and allowed an unearned run on six hits. He struck out five, and his fastball reached 76 mph.

The lone Royals run was scored by Ethan Houchhauser (2018, Coral Springs Christian Academy, FL). Six players, including Houchhauser, provided one hit each in the losing effort for the Royals.

Prospects survive rally to win 4-2

The All American Prospects survived a 2-run rally in the bottom of the sixth-inning by the Coast Titans to win on Friday, 4-2. Trevor Thomas (2017, Okeechobee HS, FL) and Baron Stuart (2017, Okeechobee HS, FL) led the Prospects at the plate, collecting 2 hits each. Thomas also scored a run and Stuart drove 1 in with a double. Reid Bass was also 1-2 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Not only did Thomas have a big day at the plate, but he also pitched 4 innings in relief to earn the win. Thomas allowed 0 runs on 2 hits and struck out 3 in the game. Over the course of his relief appearance, Thomas' fastball reached as high as 74 mph.

Jarret Eaton (2018, St. Paul's Episcopal HS, AL) paced the Coast Titan's offense. Eaton was 3-4 in the game and scored a run. Jeremiah Jackson (2018, St. Lukes Episcopal HS, AL) also had a big day at the plate, going 2-4 with a run scored and 2 doubles. Jack Cushman (2018, Daphne HS, AL) collected the Titan's only RBI's of the game, driving in 2 runs with a single.

Fifth Inning Surge Propels MVP Elite Squad

MVP Elite Squad scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 3-3 tie and claim a 7-3 victory over PBA Black 14U on Friday in Fort Myers.

Yordani Carmona (2019, Pembroke Pines, FL) and Triston Casas (2018, Florida Virtual School, FL) led MVP Elite with two runs batted in a piece. Luis Tuero (2019, Pembroke Pines, FL) and Dylan Sanchez (2018, Salisbury HS, NY) each added one run batted in. Ryan Keenan (2019, American Heritage HS, FL), Casas, and Michael Machin (2019, Pembroke Pines, FL) led the team with two hits, while Tuero and Keenan scored a team-high two runs.

Casas earned the win on the hill for MVP Elite, tossing three innings without allowing a run. He struck out six and allowed just one hit. His fastball topped out at 83 mph.

Corey Besse (2018, North Fort Myers, FL) drove in both PBA runs on the game, and added a hit and a run scored. The other two runs were scored by Jeffrey Pelletier (2017, Palmetto Ridge HS, FL) and Blake Thurman (2017, Charlotte HS, FL), while the other two hits were recorded by Dustin Thomas (2018, Charlotte HS, FL) and Thurman.

Jaguars win in close game, 6-5

The 643 DP Jaguars defeated the South Oakland A's Horvath on Friday in a close game, 6-5. Jack Polhemus (2018, The Westminster Schools, GA), Ryan Miller (2018, The Westminster Schools, GA), Peter York (2018, The Westminster Schools, GA), and Bradly Riopelle (2018, Lassiter HS, GA) led the Jaguars at the plate, each going 2-3. All four players scored at least 1 run, and York and Riopelle scored twice each. York also drove in a run and Riopelle tripled in 2 more. Connor Stephens (2017, Marist HS, GA) had one of the game's biggest hits with a 2-run double.

Clean-up hitter Maxim Musyj (2018, Cranbrook Schools, CAN) paced South Oakland's offense. Musyj finished 3-4 with a double, a run scored, and 1 RBI. Chase Ford (2018, Middle School, MI) also doubled in the game for the A's. South Oakland's other RBI's were collected by Ryan Knutson (2018, Notre Dame Preparatory HS, MI) and Austin Brown (2019, Madison HS, MI), who drove in 1 run each.

CBC 14U Riverhawks Rally in Middle Innings

CBC 14U Riverhawks trailed 4-0, but scored nine combined runs in the second, third, and fourth innings to claim a 9-6 victory over MPi 14U on Friday at Estero High School.

Daniel Breen (2018, Bartram Trail HS, FL) led the Riverhawks at the plate, doubling twice and driving in three runs. Matthew O’Brien (2018, Bartram Trail HS, FL) and Jake Fisher (2018, Bartram Trail HS, FL) each added two runs batted in, while Chase Wilson (2018, Bartram Trail HS, FL) and John Amell (2018, Bartram Trail HS, FL) each drove in one. Fisher led the team with three hits, while O’Brien, Joshua Schneider (2017, Creekside HS, FL), and Jacob Allsup (2019, Nease HS, FL) each scored two runs in the win.

Wilson earned the win for the Riverhawks, allowing four runs with three strikeouts over four innings. His fastball peaked at 72 mph.

MPi received one run batted in from Andy Ferreiro (2018, Slam Charter School, FL), who also led the team with two hits, including a double. Six players scored one run in the MPi loss.

Evoshield cruises to 14-2 win

The Evoshield Canes North rolled over the CBC 14U Riverhawks on Friday, 14-2. Cade Hungate (2018, Abingdon HS, VA) led Evoshield on offense, going 2-2 with 3 RBI. Hungate, Jack Chenault (2018, Hanover HS, VA), Camden Grimes (2018, Hanover HS, VA), and Nick Zona (2018, Hanover HS, VA) all scored 2 runs each for the winners. Lead-off hitter Nathan Evans (2017, Lee Davis HS, VA) ignited the offense, going 2-3 with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored. Thomas Francisco (2018, Abingdon HS, VA) collected the Canes only extra-base hit of the game with a double. 

Jack Dragum (2018, Hanover HS, VA) started the game on the mound for Evoshield and pitched 3 innings to earn the win. Dragum allowed 2 unearned runs on 1 hit, while striking out 6 batters. He showed off his strong arm and his plus fastball on the day, averaging a velocity of 80-82 mph and reaching as high as 84 mph.

Tyler Fleming (2018, Bartram Trail HS, FL) led CBC at the plate, going 1-2 with a run scored. The Riverhawk's other run was scored by Joshua Schneider (2017, Creekside HS, FL). Jake Fisher (2018, Bartram Trail HS, FL) collected CBC's other hit of the game, which was a double.

Stingers Panhandle Rally from Early Deficit

Stingers Panhandle 14U trailed 3-0 through an inning and a half, but scored the final eight runs, claiming an 8-3 victory over Palm Beach Select Green at Dunbar High School on Friday.

Matthew Caballero (2018, Maclay HS, FL) led the run production for the Stingers, driving in two runs on one hit. Bryce Register (2018, Port St. Joe HS, FL), Dustin Hodges (2018, Bainbridge HS, GA), Josiah Miller (2019, Lincoln HS, FL), and Matthew Boynton (2018, Maclay HS, FL) each added one run batted in. Five players had one hit, while Connor Strickland (2018, Bainbridge HS, GA) and Boynton each scored two runs in the Stingers victory.

Brandon Walker (2019, North Florida Christian School, FL) earned the win for the Stingers, allowing one earned run over three innings with six strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 80 mph. Hodges was awarded a three-inning save for his scoreless frames, as he allowed just three hits with two strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 83 mph.

The lone Palm Beach RBI was driven in by Nicholas Presto (2018, Palm Beach Gardens HS, FL). The three runs were scored by Robert Grogins (2018, Jupiter HS, FL), Peyton Moon (2018, Jupiter HS, FL), and Dalton Kraft (2018, Palm Beach Gardens HS, FL). Moon and Kraft led the team in the losing effort with two hits.

All American Prospects Thwart Comeback

All American Prospects held a 4-0 lead through four innings, lost it in the top of the fifth, scored three runs in the bottom half, and then had to hang on in the sixth for a 7-6 victory over NF Young Guns at Cypress Lake High School on Friday.

Four players drove in one run a piece for the Prospects — Trevor Thomas (2017, Okeechobee HS, FL), Baron Stuart (2017, Okeechobee HS, FL), Justin Bryan (2018, Martin County HS, FL), and Reid Bass (2017, Vero Beach HS, FL). Eight players recorded a hit, and Case Howell (2017, Martin County HS, FL) led the run scoring efforts with two runs scored.

David Luethje (2018, Vero Beach HS, FL) allowed just a walk over three otherwise perfect innings. He struck out five hitters, and his fastball topped out at 84 mph.

Cody Robinson (2018, Williston HS, FL) did all he could for the Young Guns attempted rally, as he drove in three runs and scored another on two hits. Caleb Strickland (2018, Columbia HS, FL) added two runs batted in, and Dalton Croft (2019, Suwanee HS, FL) drove in another. Austin Harris (2018, Columbia HS, FL) and Joseph Strong (2018, Buchholz HS, FL) scored two runs in the losing effort.

Gators use big third-inning to win 14-1

The Central Florida Gators 14U scored 10 runs in the bottom of the third-inning on Friday to beat the Home Plate Chilidogs, 14-1. In total, Central Florida racked up 11 hits on the day and eleven players collected at least 1 hit to led the offense. Elijah Cabell (2018, Winter Park HS, FL), Seth Caddell (2017, Pinecrest HS, NC), Tommy Ben (2017, Atlantic Coast HS, FL), and Leo Alfonzo (2018, Trinity Preparatory HS, FL) paced the Gators offensively, each going 2-2 in the game. Cabell and Caddell also scored 2 runs each for the winners. Caddell had a big day at the plate, driving in 4 runs, and slugging a triple and a double. Ben also tripled and drove in 2 for the Gators. East Cobb Astros scored in five of the seven innings, and allowed just one hit in a 10-2 victory over Northern Valley Ravens 14U Friday at City of Palms Park.

Anthony Seigler (2018, Cartersville HS, GA) and Will Banfield (2018, Brookwood HS, GA) led the Astros at the plate with two runs batted in a piece. Josiah Futral (2018, Kell HS, GA), Jarrett Ford (2018, Decatur HS, GA), and Ryan Bliss (2018, Troup County HS, GA) each added one run batted in. Banfield and Lane Keylon (2017, Rhea County, TN) led the team with two hits each, while Ford and Bliss scored two runs a piece in the victory.

Austin Moody (2018, Locust Grove HS, GA) was the winning pitcher for the Astros, as he struck out two over three perfect innings.

Team Dugout fend off Florida Canes's late push, hold on 3-2. Andrew Brady (Avon Grove, Landenburg, PA 2018) got on base two times in the game for Team Dugout 14U. He singled in the fourth inning. Luis Palcacios (Pembroke Pines Charter, Pembroke Pines, FL 2017) reached bases two times today in the game. He also drove in one runner.

Florida Canes had no answer for Luke Gutos (St Joseph, Cherry Hill, NJ 2018). He held Florida Canes hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three. Luis Palacios ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision with getting the loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.

Home Plate Chilidogs surrendered four runs in the top of the first, but answered with five en route to a 7-4 victory over Gotham Giants 14U in Fort Myers on Friday.

Ryan Dyal (2019, East Coweta HS, GA) led the Chilidogs offense with three runs batted in, three hits, and a run scored. Chandler Yokeley (2017, Pike County HS, GA), Will Evans (2017, Starrs Mill HS, GA), and Alex Cawood (2018, Northgate HS, GA) each drove in one run as well. Evans also added two hits and two runs scored in the win.

Cawood was the winning pitcher, as he struck out four hitters over three innings. His fastball peaked at 75 mph. Cody Rodgers (2017, East Coweta HS, GA) worked three scoreless innings of relief, and earned a save. He struck out one, and his fastball topped out at 71 mph.

Cole Bosch (2017, Bergen Catholic HS, NJ) drove in two runs for the Giants, and Aidan Siegel (2018, Haldane HS, NJ) added another. John Rainieri (2017, Putnam Valley HS, NY) had a team-high three hits, while Bosch, Jacob Sawoska (2017, Monroe Woodbury HS, NY), and Mitch Oakley (2017, Franklin D. Roosevelt HS, NY) each had two.

Elite Baseball Training-Chicago 2018 won in a close game on Friday afternoon over the Central Florida Gators-Blue, 1-0. Cameron Falk (2018, Bolingbrook HS, IL) was a perfect 2-2 on the day to led Elite Baseball's offense. Ryan Surin (2018, Joliet Catholic Academy, IL) and Jake Miller (2018, Providence Catholic HS, IL) collected Elite's other 2 hits, both finishing 1-2. Miller's hit was also a double. The only run of the game was scored by Anthony Deconcilis (2018, Lake Park HS, IL), who was driven in by Kevin Garcia (2018, Notre Dame High School for Boys, IL). 

Andrew Tenison (2018, Carl Sandburg HS, IL), Garcia, and Parker Aquino (2018, St. Laurence HS, IL) combined to pitch the game for Elite Baseball and hold Central Florida to just 1 hit. Tenison started the game on the mound and pitched 3 innings, striking out 1 batter. Garcia covered the next 2 innings in relief and showed great command of the his pitches, throwing 75% for strikes. Tenison and Garcia both topped out at 78 mph with their fastballs. The final 2 innings were covered by Aquino, who struck out 3 batters to earn the win. Aquino's fastball averaged a velocity of 75-77 mph and reached as high as 80 mph.

Tucker Talbott (2018, Providence HS, FL) pitched the entire game for Central Florida and was very impressive despite losing the game. Over his 6 innings of work, Talbott allowed 1 unearned run on 4 hits, while striking out 5 batters. His fastball averaged a velocity of 76-79 mph and topped out at 82 mph.

Alexander Ramos (2017, Lake Gibson Senior HS, FL) collected Central Florida's only hit of the game with a double.

East Cobb Select jumps on SBO Puerto Rico early and coasts to 13-3 win. Nine runs in the first three innings allowed East Cobb Select to put the game away early. Tre Pennie (Kell, Marietta, GA 2018) went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for East Cobb Select. He singled in the second inning and doubled in third inning. SBO Puerto Rico was led by Christian Rivera's (Caguas Military Academy, Albonito, PR 2018) hitting. He went 2-2 with driving in one and scored one run with a single in the second and fourth innings.

Ramon Vega (Caguas Military Academy, Cayey, PR 2018) was the ace pitcher for the SBO Puerto Rico. He tossed 2.1 innings worth while giving up ten hits, nine runs and striking out one. Hayden Martin (River Ridge, Woodstock, GA 2017) was the other ace pitcher for the East Cobb Select. Titans Sports Academy scored the final two runs of the game, including a run in the bottom of the sixth and final inning, to force a 2-2 tie with So Cal NTT 14U.

The two Titans runs were driven in by Jacorey Boudreaux (2017, Oak Ridge HS, TX) and Braxton Dieckhaus (2017, Rhea County HS, TN), and were scored by Dieckhaus and Dylan Minghini (2018, Gordon Lee HS, GA). Dieckhaus added two hits, and the team’s other three hits were recorded by Kendall Simmons (2018, Tattnall Square Academy, GA), Brandon Neeck (2018, Horace Greeley HS, NY), and Nolan Donley (2017, Cherokee HS, GA).

The top pitcher for the Titans was Silas Butler (2017, East Coweta HS, GA), who allowed no runs on one hit over three innings. His fastball peaked at 78 mph.

Chris Attisani (2018, Buckingham Browne Nichols HS, MA) drove in a run and scored another for So Cal NTT, with the other run scored by Barrett Calvin (2018, Mammoth HS, CA). The team’s four hits came from Attisani, Will Findlay (2019, Morris Catholic HS, NJ), and two from Austin Thrasher (2018, Emmanuel Christian School, AL).

The RI Rays defeat East Cobb Nine 7-6. Nicholas D'Ambra (Coventry, Coventry, RI 2017) was the hot hitter for the RI Rays. He went 1-3 for the game with scoring one run. Ethan Foley (Woostock, Canton, GA 2018) was the other hot hitter for the East Cobb Nine. He went 2-3 for the game with scoring one run.

Sean Isbrand (East Greenwich, Greenwich, RI 2018) had a rough outing today for the RI Rays even though they still won. He surrendered six in 5 2/3, but the bullpen allowed no runs and the offense banged out five to help them win. Ethan Foley was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.

Spikes offense leads them to 7-0 victory

The Cincinnati Spikes mashed 12 hits and scored 7 runs on Friday to beat the Iron Pigs, 7-0. Allbry Major (2017, North Central HS, IN), Daunte DeCello (2018, Stephen T. Badin HS, OH), and Austin Beeching (2018, Moeller HS, OH) all went 2-3 in the game to pace the offense. DeCello's hits were both doubles, and Major and Decello both scored twice in the win, as well. Major and Beeching both drove in 1 run each. AJ King (2018, Indian Hill HS, OH) was a major run producer for Cincinnati, driving in 2 runs on 2 hits and also scoring a run. Kyle Minton (2018, Milford HS, OH) and AJ Fritz (2018, Lebanon HS, OH) both doubled for the winners.

Minton and Fritz combined to pitch the entire 7-inning game on the mound and hold the Iron Pigs to just 3 hits. Minton started the game and pitched the first 4 innings allowing 0 runs on 0 hits, while striking out 3. Fritz threw the final 3 innings in relief to earn the win. He allowed 0 runs on 0 hits and struck out 1. Both players reached as high as 79 mph on their fastballs.

A sacrifice fly from Kennee Torres (2017, Yonkers Montessori Academy, NY) provided the winning run for Bronx Bombers, who scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth and final inning to claim an 8-7 victory over West Florida Elite Baseball Club.

Freddy Rojas (2017, All Hallows HS, NY) led the offensive charge for the Bombers, driving in three runs on three hits. One run batted in each was supplied by Jose Acevedo (2018, Juan Morel Campos Secondary School, NY), Jimmy Abreu (2018, Metropolitan HS, NY), Torres, and Luke McDonald (2017, Xavierian HS, NY). Abreu added two hits, while Abreu and McDonald led the team with two runs scored a piece.

Marc Maestri (2017, Somers HS, NY) worked a complete game for the Bombers, striking out two hitters and allowing just two earned runs to get the win. His fastball topped out at 73 mph.

South Miami Baseball scored three runs in the bottom of the first, and never looked back, claiming an 8-1 victory over Manatee Prospects in Port Charlotte on Friday.

Runs were driven in for South Miami by Zachary Rivero (2017, South Miami HS, FL), Jordan Arroyo (2018, Terra Environmental Research Institute, FL), Alejandro Perez (2018, South Miami HS, FL), and Matthew Pujals (2019, South Miami HS, FL). Daniel Irisarri (2018, South Miami HS, FL) and Eric Estevez (2017, Miami Coral Park HS, FL) led South Miami with two hits each, while Irisarri and Sean Tejeda (2018, South Miami HS, FL) scored two runs a piece.

Gabriel Partridge (2018, La Salle HS, FL) allowed just one hit over three innings, and was awarded the win. He struck out one, and his fastball peaked at 72 mph. The Mid-Atlantic Red Sox outlast Northern Valley Ravens 14U high-scoring affair, 11-10 victory. The teams combined for twenty five hits, including seven extra base hits. The Mid-Atlantic Red Sox's Trevor Collins (Sussex Central Senior, Millsboro, DE 2018), Greenly, Zachary Adams (Snow Hill, Snow Hill, MD 2018) and Mow combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.

The Mid-Atlantic Red Sox starter Trey Fisher (Chincoteague, Oak Hill, VA 2017) struggled, allowing six in 1 2/3  innings, but the bullpen gave up four runs and the offense banged out twelve to help secure the victory. Jordan Issackedes (Pascack Valley, River Vale, NJ 2018) was the other pitcher for the Northern Valley Ravens 14U. The Banditos Black scored 6 runs in the bottom of the third-inning to lead them over Titans Sports Academy, 9-0 on Friday afternoon. Leonel Perez (2017, La Joya Palmview HS, TX) had a big day at the plate for Banditos to fuel the offensive attack. Perez collected 2 hits in 2 at-bats and drove in 3 runs in the game. Nicholas Northcut (2018, William Mason HS, LA) joined Perez in going 2-2 on the day. Northcut also doubled, scored twice, and drove in a run. Alerick Soularie (2017, Atascocita HS, TX) joined Northcut in scoring 2 runs as well.

FBH Angels 14U twice saw their lead cut to two runs, but held on for a 6-4 victory over Mid-Atlantic Red Sox in Cape Coral on Friday.

Jamarcus Lyons (2018, King HS, FL) had two hits and two runs batted in to lead the Angels. Austin Eldridge (2018, Strawberry Crest HS, FL) and Lucus Shannon (2018, Kathleen HS, FL) each added one run batted in. Tate Whatley (2017, Plant City HS, FL) and Deheron Pressley (2017, Tampa Catholic HS, FL) each scored two runs, and Cory Kirkland (2018, Plant City HS, FL) and BJ Carter (2017, Blake HS, FL) each added one.

Davon Terry (2019, Blake HS, FL) tossed 3.1 scoreless, hitless innings to earn the win. He had four strikeouts, and his fastball topped out at 78 mph. Kirkland worked two innings, and allowed just one run. His fastball peaked at 74 mph.

Three runs were driven in for the Dirtbags, supplied by David Thompson (2018, Pope John XXIII HS, TX), Ty Thacker (2018, Ridgepoint HS, TX), and Coy Cobb (2018, Katy HS, TX). Blake Ehlinger (2018, Kempner HS, TX) led the team with two hits, and Thompson scored a team-high three runs. Ehlinger and Peter Geib (2018, Episcopal HS, TX) each added two runs scored.

Ben Stokes (2018, East Stroudsburg South HS, PA) drilled a home run to lead the Diamond Jacks. He drove in one run and had two hits. Colin Mason (2018, Hunterdon Central HS, NJ) added three runs batted in, and five other players drove in one run. Christian Hlinka (2018, Delaware Valley HS, NJ) had three singles in the win, while Mike Murray (2018, Watchung Hills Regional HS, NJ) added two singles. Leading the scoring was Hlinka and Sam Raymond (2018, Hamilton North-Nottingham HS, NJ), who each scored two runs.

In addition to Hill’s game-winner, another run was driven in by Andrew Hayes (2017, Athens Christian School, GA). Phillip Suiter (2018, Lee County HS, GA) led the hitting with two hits, both singles. The three runs were scored in the win by Fredrick West, Jr. (2017, Monroe HS, GA), Andy Franks (2018, Mooreville HS, GA), and Zachary Boyd (2018, Stephens County HS, GA).

Grey Akins (2018, Jackson County HS, GA) tossed five solid innings for Elite Steel, allowing two runs on four hits. He struck out five hitters, and his fastball peaked at 71 mph. Micah Rentz (2018, Appling County HS, GA) also worked a scoreless frame, striking out one with a fastball that reached 76 mph.

Sammy Ramirez (2018, Orlando, FL) and Aydon Chavis (2017, Allentown HS, NJ) drove in the two runs for the Blue Crew, runs that were scored by Bennett Shell (2018, Pace HS, FL) and Ramirez. Luis Cabrera (2017, Gateway HS, FL) led the team with two hits, both of which were singles.

Ryan DeMille (2017, St. John Vianney HS, NJ) pitched well for the Blue Crew, allowing just one run on four hits over four innings. He struck out two hitters without a walk, and his fastball topped out at 77 mph.

Dallas Tigers Score in Every Inning, Prevail

Dallas Tigers-Watten scored in every inning, and held USC Knights to just one hit in a 10-0 victory in Fort Myers on Friday.

The Tigers run production was led by Bijan Kilamanpour (2018, Jesuit College Prep HS, TX), Juan Gutierrez III (2018, Coronado HS, TX), and Mason Carrier (2018, Edmond North HS, OK), who each drove in two runs. Seven players supplied one hit to the effort. Joshua Lewis (2018, Roff HS, OK), Jaden Fowler (2018, Lubbock Christian School, TX), Logan Thomazin (2018, Walnut Grove HS, MO), and Logan Layer (2018, Rowlett HS, TX) each scored two runs in the victory.

Gabriel Kurtzhals (2018, Boswell HS, TX) allowed just one hit over 4.2 innings, and struck out five hitters. He earned the win, and his fastball topped out at 78 mph. Matt Foster (2018, Plano Senior HS, TX) recorded one out for the Tigers, and his fastball reached 77 mph.

The lone Knights hit was a single, recorded by Andy Ramirez (2017, Park East HS, NY).

Early Runs Buoy Banditos of Austin

Banditos of Austin 14U scored three runs in the top of the second inning, and hung on for a 4-2 win over Chain Black 14U on Friday in Fort Myers.

Chad Dixon (2018, Westwood HS, TX), Justin Moore (2018, Vandegrift HS, TX), and Kyle John (2017, Vista Ridge HS, TX) each drove in one run for the Banditos. Moore had two hits — a single and the team’s sole double. Dixon, John, and Adrian Torres (2017, Manor HS, TX) added one hit each. The four runs were scored by Garrett Aylor (2018, Westwood HS, TX), Jaylen Williams (2018, Stony Point HS, TX), John, and Torres.

Rorik Maltrud (2018, Westwood HS, TX) was the winning pitcher for the Banditos, as he allowed one earned run on five hits over 4.1 innings. He struck out seven hitters without a walk, and his fastball topped out at 81 mph. Dixon also pitched 2.2 innings, and allowed just one hit. He struck out three, and displayed a fastball that reached 71 mph.

Hunter Young (2018, South Effingham HS, GA) had the only run batted in for Chain Black, and the two runs were scored by Sam Bennet (2018, Cook County HS, GA) and David Crawford (2018, McEachern HS, GA). Crawford and Young led the team with two hits each in the losing effort.

Camron Johnson (2018, Putnam County HS, GA) had a good day on the mound for Chain Black. He worked 3.2 scoreless innings and only allowed two hits. He struck out two hitters, and his fastball peaked at 75 mph.

Central Florida Gators Rally in Middle Innings

Central Florida Gators-Blue trailed 3-0 after one inning, but scored at least two runs in the second, third, and fourth innings to claim an 8-3 victory over East Cobb Select on Friday.

The Gators received a balanced effort at the plate, as six different players drove in a run and six players had a hit. Johnathan Fritz (2018, St. Cloud HS, FL) had the only two-hit game, recording two singles. Tyler Isenberg (2018, Trinity Christian Academy, FL) was the only player to score two runs, and Trenton Brickhouse (2017, Trinity Christian Academy, FL) added a double in the Gator victory.

Cade Westbrook (2017, Clay HS, FL) earned the victory on the mound for the Gators, tossing four scoreless innings with four strikeouts. He allowed just two hits, and his fastball topped out at 82 mph. Brickhouse tossed the final three innings, and allowed one earned run on one hit. He struck out three hitters, and his fastball reached 82 mph.

The three hits from East Cobb, all singles, were recorded by Christopher Williams (2018, River Ridge HS, GA), Matthew Mamatas (2018, Ola HS, GA), and Noah Turner (2017, Hillgrove HS, GA). The team’s three runs were scored by Williams, Tre Pennie (2018, Kell HS, GA), and Sam Kuchinski (2017, Harrison HS, GA).

Houston Banditos Never Trail in 12-5 Victory

Houston Banditos scored three runs in the bottom of the first, and never trailed in a 12-5 victory over Next Level 14U on Friday.

Kyle Gonzales (2017, Huntsville HS, TX) had a big day for the Banditos, driving in three runs on two hits, a single and a double. He also added two runs scored. Also driving in one run each was Westley Schields (2018, Cypress Ranch HS, TX), Jordan Groshans (2018, Tomball HS, TX), Jake Miller (2018, Taylor HS, TX), and Casen White (2018, Cy-Fair HS, TX). Gonzales, Groshans, and Joshua Rodriguez (2018, Klein Collins HS, TX) had two hits each, while five players scored two runs a piece in the victory.

Richard Scott IV (2018, Cypress Ranch HS, TX) earned the victory on the mound for the Banditos, tossing four innings and allowing just one earned run. He allowed two hits, and struck out six. His fastball topped out at 76 mph. Justin Collins (2017, Magnolia HS, TX) pitched the final three innings, and allowed just an unearned run on no hits. He struck out five hitters, and his fastball peaked at 78 mph.

The two Next Level RBIs, as well as both of its hits, were recorded by Carson Neal (2019, North Florida Christian School, FL). Neal and four other players also scored a run in the defeat.

Texas Hardball Navy Wins 7-5

Texas Hardball Navy faced a 5-3 deficit through three innings, but rallied with four runs in the fourth for a 7-5 victory over DeMarini GA 14U Black on Friday.

Ethan Ruiz (2018, Cedar Ridge HS, TX) led the Hardball run production, driving in two runs. Jeremy Williams (2018, Round Rock HS, TX), Cade Webber (2019, Round Rock HS, TX), and Cody Vannoy (2018, Summit Christian Academy, TX) each added one run batted in. Reed Hodges (2018, Round Rock HS, TX) led the way with two runs scored, and the team’s four hits were recorded by Ruiz, Williams, Hodges, and Garrett Witcher (2017, Lampasas HS, TX).

Cameron Bush (2018, Round Rock HS, TX) earned the victory for Hardball, allowing three earned runs over three innings with two strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 75 mph. Vannoy tossed the final three innings, scoreless frames with just three hits allowed. His fastball reached 79 mph.

Runs were driven by Kelvin Smith (2018, Fayette County HS, GA) and Matthew Smith (2017, Roswell HS, TX) for DeMarini. Jacob Cendoya (2018, Mount Pisgah Christian School, GA) led the team with two runs scored, and Orlando Adams (2018, Redan HS, GA) had the lone DeMarini extra-base hit, a double.

Patrick Conlin (2017, Sequoyah HS, GA) was the best pitcher for DeMarini on the day. Conlin allowed no runs on two hits and struck out two hitters. His fastball topped out at 82 mph.

Texas Hardball Navy Wins 8-5

Texas Hardball Navy put up six runs in the first inning and that would be all they need in a 8-5 win against the Mizuno Barracudas. Navy scored two insurance runs in the third inning.

Seven different hitters had one hit apiece for Texas Hardball Navy. Zachary Thomas (2018, Cedar Ridge, TX) hit a two-run triple in the third and scored on a wild pitch. Garrett Witcher (2017, Lampasas, TX) hit a two-run single in the first inning and scored a run. Jeremy Williams (2018, Round Rock, TX) singled, scored two runs, and added an RBI.

Zachary Thomas grabbed win with his 3.2 innings of three-run ball. He gave up two hits and walked five. He struck out six hitters and his fastball peaked at 76 mph.

For the Barracudas, Nick Saranczak (2018, Lakewood Ranch, FL) hit an RBI double in the fourth inning. Grant Boland (2017, Fort Myers, FL) went 1 for 2 with a run scored at the top of the lineup. In the top of the sixth, Bryce Adkins (2018, North Fort Myers, FL) ripped a line drive RBI single. Jamar Smith (2018, Manatee, FL) went 1 for 3 with a run scored.

Grant Boland was only able to record two outs in the game, but his fastball topped out at 78 mph. Jamar Smith gave up two runs in his 2.1 innings on the mound. His fastball topped out at 77 mph and he had three strikeouts. Jake Park (2018, North Fort Myers, FL) threw two scoreless innings for the Barracudas.

SBA Canes Take Down PBC PAL 6-1

the SBA Canes 14U Black team put it together in their 6-1 victory over PBC PAL 14U. The Canes busted out in the fourth, scoring three runs.  

Winning pitcher Chad Treadway (2018, A C Reynolds, NC) gave up only on run over his 4.1 inning outing. He gave up two hits, three walks, and struck out four. His fastball sat 73-80 mph and peaked at 81 mph. Logan Jarosz (2018, Eastern Alamance, NC) threw 1.2 scoreless innings and his fastball ranged from 77-81 mph. Gavin Williams (2017, Cape Fear, NC) sported a 78 mph fastball in his scoreless inning.

Samuel Howell (2019, Sun Valley, NC) went 2 for 3 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI for the SBA Canes. Jason Garfinkle (2017, Providence, NC) and Justin Guy (2017, Southeast Guilford, NC) both had a two-hit game and added a run.

Carlos Fronseca (2018, John I. Leonard, FL) had a nice two-hit game for PBC PAL. Logan Cook (2018, Park Vista Community, FL) and Brett Steel (2018, Cardinal Newman, FL) both went 1 for 3 on the day. Warren Von Werne (2018, William T. Dwyer, FL) fastball ranged from 73-78 mph in his four innings of work. Von Werne gave up three earned runs and struck out two batters.

Wilson and Saints dominate in win

The 9 Stars Saints defeated the South Louisiana Select by a score of 13-1 thanks in part to a strong starting pitching performance from Nolan Wilson (2018, Darlington HS, GA) who went 4 innings allowing just 1 unearned run on 2 hits and 3 walks, while recording 3 strikeouts.  Wilson mixed his 68-72/73 mph fastball with his 58-64/68 mph curveball throughout his start. 

Leadoff hitter, Nick Mauer (2018, Darlington HS, GA), went 1-1 with 1 double, 2 RBI, 1 stolen base and 3 walks to help ignite their offense.  Logan Milsaps (2017, Pickens County HS, GA) also had a big day at the plate going 2-3 with 2 runs scored, 3 RBI and 1 stolen base while Kyle Pelfry (2018, Adairsville HS, GA) went 2-2 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.  Carson Kemp (2018, Calhoun HS, GA) kept the big days at the plate going by going 1-3 with 3 runs scored, 2 RBI and 1 stolen base.

For the Select, Mason Kilgore (2017, Central Lafourche HS, LA) and Hunter Leblanc (2018. Hahnville HS, LA) each went 1-2 with stolen base, picking up the only 2 base hits for their team. 


South Miami Teams Up for No-Hitter in WIn

Two South Miami Baseball pitchers combined on a no-hitter in a 3-2 win against GCBA Black Sox 14U. South Miami was actually down 2-1 at one point, but responded with a run in the fourth and the sixth.

Winning pitcher Alejandro Perez (2018, South Miami Senior, FL) threw four perfect innings. He struck out eight batters on a fastball that sat 72-79 mph and hit 81 mph. Matthew Pujals (2019, South Miami Senior, FL) gave up the two unearned runs in his two hitless innings.

Sean Tejada (2018, South Miami Senior, FL) went a perfect 3 for 3 with an RBI for South Miami. Eric Estevez (2017, Miami Coral Park, FL) contributed with his two RBIs on the day.

Sekula stole two bases and scored one of the two Black Sox runs. The other run was scored off of a passed ball.

FTB55 Elite 7-3 Winners

FTB55 Elite scored seven times on only five hits in their 7-3 win against Team Elite Black.  They had a four-run fourth and a three-run fifth.

Dylan Bell (2017, Lake Nona, FL) led FTB55 offensively. Bell went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored, and three RBIs. Adam Torres (2017, Heritage Christian, FL) went 1 for 2 with a run batted in and two runs scored. Josh Pahlad (2017, Osceola, FL) singled in their seventh run in the fifth after Bell's double.

Winning pitcher Dylan Bell pitched 3.1 innings, giving up one run on four hits and two walks. His fastball topped out at 76 mph in his outing. Pedro Figueroa (2018, Heritage Christian, FL) gave up one earned run in his inning of work. His fastball ranged from 78-83 mph. Cole Beavin (2017, West Orange, FL) pitched 1.2 scoreless innings and his fastball ranged from 73-77 mph.

Ty King-Richards (2018, Brookwood, GA) singled twice and added a run for Team Elite Black. Will Edgerton (2017, Walnut Grove, GA) went 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored.

Landon Sims (2019, South Forsyth, GA) only recorded two outs, but his fastball topped out at 77 mph. Ryan Finegan (2018, Blessed Trinity Cath, GA) pitched one inning, faced 8 hitters, and topped out at 78 mph. Starter Nick Baus (2017, South Forsyth, GA) gave up four runs over his 3.1 innings of work. His fastball peaked at 75 mph.

East Cobb Nine and Iron Pigs tie

The East Cobb Nine and Iron Pigs tie with a final score of 2-2.  Lyndon Weaver (2018, Grady HS, GA) showed a sound hitting approach a the plate and gap power by going 2-4 with 1 triple, 1 double and 2 RBI on the day.  Jack Friedman (2018, Paideia HS, GA) also played well going 2-3 with 1 stolen base. 

For the Iron Pigs, Giovanni Digiacomo (2018, Naples HS, FL) went 1-4 with 1 double and 1 run scored while Mac Guscette (2020, Venice Senior, FL) went 1-3 with 1 RBI on the day. 

Charlie Ludwick (2018, Lakeside HS, GA) came out of the pen for East Cobb and tossed 3 scoreless innings allowing only 1 hit and 2 walks, while recording 2 strikeouts with his fastball sitting between 76-80 mph.

Tom Wilander (2018, Canterbury HS, FL) started the game for the Iron Pigs going 3 scoreless innings allowing just 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 3 and saw his fastball range from 65-68 mph. 

Cougars Come From Behind and Win 6-5

643 DP Cougars scored five times in the bottom of the seventh to come from behind and win one 6-5 against Dallas Tigers-Watten. Addison Shoup (2017, Walton, GA) got hit by a pitch to drive in the game-winning run. 

Besides the hit by pitch, Shoup had a solid 2 for 3 day at the dish. Trenton Parker (2018, Hiram, GA) went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Cameron Bloodworth (2018, Walton, GA) got a hit, scored a run, and drove in a team-high two runs. Ben Harris (2018, Fellowship Christian, GA) had the game-tying RBI single in the that special seventh inning for the Cougars.

Matt Martin (2018, Hillgrove, GA) gained the win, throwing 4.1 innings of five-run ball. Two of those five runs were earned. Cameron Bloodworth pitched 2.2 important scoreless innings and topped out at 76 mph.
