Gray vs Orange Game Highlights

8/9/2020

Aiden McGee (2021 OF, West Des Moines, IA) Was impressive on the mound showing plus arm whip through extension from a three-quarters slot. Fastball jumped out of hand creating heavy actions to the plate in the mid to upper 80's, topped at 90 mph. McGee worked two perfect innings while striking out three batters.

Carter Krug (2024 LHP, Asbury, IA) Showed good feel for the barrel with balanced, line drive approach. Picked up two hits in game action.

Braylon Havel (2022 SS, Center Point, IA) Utilized a compact, direct path to contact with a linear barrel plane through extension. Consistently created sharp contact off the barrel collecting three hits in four trips to the plate.

Brandon Ford (2021 MIF, Oak Park, MI) The Michigan native utilized a smooth, naturally leveraged barrel plane that generated good backspin off the barrel when squared. Attacked the baseball with intent throughout the day picking up three hits including a double.

Ty Weiman (2021 C, Delano, MN) Showed good feel for the barrel throughout the zone with present strength when squared. Looked to work the ball to each gap and picked up a double and single in game action.

Ben Orr (2022 3B, Durant, IA) Displayed the ability to throw barrel head to contact and generated good whip through extension. Looked to turn barrel with intent and attack the baseball. Doubled in his second at-bat of the game.

Tyler Klee (2021 3B, Kansas City, MO) Klee impressed throughout the weekend showing a naturally leveraged barrel plane with present strength at contact. Consistently produced hard contact throughout the game collecting two hits including a triple. 

Zack Hoffman (2022 RHP, Wildwood, MO) Impressed at the plate showing a clean, repeatable line drive barrel plane. Utilized a mid field approach and collected two base hits in game action. 


Navy vs Red Game Highlights

8/9/2020

Khal Stephen (2021 RHP, Williamsport, IN) Showed very good arm speed through extension and generated heavy run with a fastball that topped at 90mph. Consistently worked to each edge of the plate while overpowering hitters. Also showed good feel to located both curveball and changeup to the bottom of the zone. 

Kaleb Wise (2023 SS, Sedgwick, KS) Showed good feel for the barrel with the ability to generate hard contact when squared. Tripled in his third at-bat of the game. 

Kamden Wise (2024 SS, Sedgwick, KS) Like his brother Kaleb, Kamden also showed good feel for the barrel with the ability to work to all fields. Put together quality at-bats throughout the game picking up two base hites. 

Jett Neuberger (2022 LHP, Clear Lake, IA) Showed present bat speed with strong hands at contact. Utilized a naturally lifted barrel plane while creating good carry off the barrel when squared. Doubled in his first at-bat of the game. 

Sam Wilt (2022 RHP, Anamosa, IA) Impressed while on the mound running his fastball up to 86 mph. Consistently worked ahead of hitters and flashed good feel for his secondary pitches. Also showed well at the plate offensively creating plus bat speed through extension with solid barrel whip. Homered in his third at-bat of the game.

Hogan Henrich (2021 UT, Newell, IA) Utilized a balanced stance with a linear barrel plane. Consistently put together quality at-bats while employing a mid field approach. Collected two hits in game action including a double in his last at-bat.

Charles Richmond (2021 1B, Indianapolis, IN) Was very impressive on the mound showing a loose, repeatable arm action. Generated good sink and run with fastball that topped at 87mph. Consistently worked ahead of hitters and showed the ability to locate breaking ball to the bottom quadrants of the zone.

Ethan Patterson (2023 SS, Washington, IA) The 2023 grad showed well on the mound utilizing a clean three-quarters arm slot that generated natural run to arm side in the mid 80's, topped at 86 mph. Patterson also displayed the ability to consistently keep hitter of balance with both a curveball and slider offering.

8/9/2020

Sean Mitchell (2022 1B, Kane, IL) The Illinois native showed good balance at the plate with solid bat head control throughout the zone. Consistently created sharp contact picking up two hits in game action.

Hunter Olson (2021 RHP, Fort Dodge, IA) Impressed at the plate today showing a clean, loose hand path through the zone with a slightly lifted barrel plane. Doubled in his first at-bat of the game. 

Julius Kass (2023 RHP, Ann Arbor, MI) Has a good day at the plate today showing present bat speed with strength at contact. Employed a linear barrel plane while looking to drive the ball to the middle of the field. picked up two hits in game action including a double in his last at-bat.


Col. Blue vs Maroon Game Highlights

8/9/2020

Nick Bassi (2022 3B, Zionsville, IN) Showed a clean, repeatable line drive barrel plane at the plate with present bat speed. Also impressed while on the mound showing good arm speed through extension with a fastball that topped at 86 mph. Created heavy actions through the zone and consistently induced weaker contact.

Briggs Terwilleger (2022 1B, Kearney, MO) Displayed good strength at the plate with the ability to throw barrel head effectively. Created loud contact when squared doubling sharply in his last at-bat of the day. 

Parker Ruth (2021 OF, Eldridge, IA) Ruth was impressive on the mound showing good whip through extension. Worked fastball to each edge of the plate topping at 84 mph. Also showed good feel for his breaking ball with the ability to land for strikes in both positive and negative counts. 

Brody Grawe (2021 RHP, Urbana, IA) Created good downhill angle with his fastball and created solid run to arm side  with a fastball that topped at 84 mph. Consistently worked to the bottom of the zone and induced weak ground ball contact. Effectively kept hitters off balance with his breaking ball in the upper 60's as well.

Sam Harris (2023 1B, Urbandale, IA) The 2023 grad displayed very good bat speed and strength while at the plate with the ability to  throw barrel head with authority. Consistently looked to attack the  baseball with intent and homered in his last at-bat of the day. 

Jacob Pate (2022 RHP, Beardstown, IL) Impressed at the plate today showing a clean, efficient barrel path to contact. Flashed good bat speed with the ability to square the baseball consistently. Collected two base hits in three trips to the plate. 


Royal vs White Game Highlights

8/9/2020

Jackson Glueck (2024 1B, Kansas City, MO) Displayed quick hands through the zone with a linear barrel plane. Consistently created hard, loud contact throughout the game and tripled to right center field in his second at-bat.

Tanner Thomas (2025 RHP, Arcola, IL) Showed a knack for finding the barrel with the ability to control barrrel head throughout the zone. Picked up two base hits in game action.

Luke Taylor (2024 C, Holladay, UT) Showed a naturally leveraged barrel plane that generated tight back spin and good carry to the gaps when squared. Hammered a double to the left center field gap in his second at-bat of the game.

Adam Kayko (2024 3B, Waukee, IA) Also displayed good bat speed through the zone while employing a simple, repeatable line drive barrel plane. Stays balanced throughout his swing a doubled to straight away center field in his first at-bat of the game.

Thomas Simon (2024 SS, Fargo, ND) Showed a mature approach at the plate with the barrel control to work to all fields. Collected two hits in game action including a hard hit triple to the right center field gap. Also impressed on the mound showing good feel for all three pitches. Consistently worked to each edge of the plate and kept hitters off balance. 

Griffin Raquet (2025 RHP, McCordsville, IN) Impressed at the plate today showing a clean line drive barrel plane through extension. Threw barrel head well to contact and picked up two hits in three trips to the plate.

Batting Practice Highlights

8/8/2020

Omar Boyd (2021 OF, Southfield, MI) had an impressive round of batting practice, showcasing good bat speed with a line drive barrel plane. Boyd flashes some all fields jump off the barrel when on time and squared. 

Nick Bassi (2022 3B, Zionsville, IN) shifts well to contact, driving the ball to all fields while exploding on the front side at contact. Bassi had a really nice round, showcasing quick hands through the zone. 

Hunter Dobbins (2021 C, Indpls, IN) has good bat speed and the ball really jumps off the bat when on time and squared. Dobbins fires his hips well and has good barrel whip through the zone. 

Gabe Swansen (2021 SS, Johnston, IA) really impresses from the right side, showing good power as well as advanced feel for the barrel. The Nebraska commit finds the barrel with consistency and repeats the swingwith ease. 

Noah Leingang (2022 3B, Chesterfield, MO) starts from an even stance, showing well in batting practice with good bat speed andstrength at contact. Leingang stays compact and shows good power potential as well. 

Aiden McGee (2021 OF, West Des Moines, IA) repeats the swing really well, showcasing some jump off the barrel with all fields power. The uncommitted outfielder has some budding power as well. 

Oscar Pegg (2022 C, Bloomfield, IN) showcased his pull-side approach in batting practice, shifting well to contact with a lifted barrel plane. Pegg allows his hands to get extended, driving the ball well to that pull side. 

Kaleb Wise (2023 SS, Sedgwick, KS) performed really well in batting practice, repeating the swing well with a small leg lift trigger. Wise impacts the ball well and put together an overall solid round. 

Brandon Vlcko (2022 C, Fairfax, IA) executed a middle of the field to pull-side approach, showcasing quick hands through the zone. Vlcko swings with intent and has exciting bat speed as well. 

Khal Stephen (2021 RHP, Williamsport, IN) had one of the more impressive swings in batting practice, driving the ball deep in the outfield with consistency. The Purdue commit has a sweeping path to contact and creates good leverage at contact. 

Tyler Klee (2021 3B, Kansas City, MO) has a strong and athletic frame, looking to lift and flashing some serious pull-side juice. Klee gets extended well and swings with intent to drive the baseball. 

Charles Richmond (2021 1B, Indianapolis, IN) has some serious power from the left side of the plate, flashing serious strength and power potential. Richmond has a direct path to contact and is committed to Butler. 

Trey Snyder (2024 SS, Kearney, MO) has an extremely mature approach for the class, repeating the swing well and flashing somegood power potential moving forward. The shortstop has a smooth stroke from the right side and should grow into more power as well. 

Adam Kayko (2024 3B, Waukee, IA) has a good left-handed swing, driving the ball well to the pull-side. Kayko has power potential in the frame and finds the barrel with consistency. 


Black vs Col. Blue Game Highlights

8/8/2020

Jordan Young (2021 OF, Inver Grove Heights, MN) Showed a mature approach at the plate with good feel for the barrel. Stays balance throughout swing with the ability to keep hands the baseball. Collected two hits in game actions including a double in his first at-bat.

Dylan Klinker (2021 C, Pella, IA) Showed present bat speed and strength at the plate with the ability to generate whip through extension. Looked to attack drive the baseball with intent while driving two triples to the wall in game action.

Jacob Barton (2021 OF, Clive, IA) Displayed a naturally leveraged barrel plane that produced easy carry off the barrel when squared. Ball jumps off barrel with authority and homered in his second at-bat of the game.


Maroon vs Navy Game Highlights

8/8/2020

Jacob Pate (2022 RHP, Beardstown, IL) Was very impressive on the mound showing a smooth, repeatable delivery from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball generated good life through the zone topping a t 86 mph. Also flashed sharp, late depth with a 12/6 breaking ball in the upper 60's. Also showed quick hands through the zone while at the plate picking up two base hits.

Parker Ruth (2021 OF, Eldridge, IA) Displayed a mature approach at the plate with the knack for finding the  barrrel.  Consistently created sharp contact of the barrel with a linear plane. Picked up three hits in four trips to the plate. 

Ethan Brown (2023 3B, Waukesha, WI) Showed present bat speed through the zone with good strength at contact. Looked to drive the ball between the gaps collecting two hits in game action. 

Joshua Chaparro (2022 SS, Aguada, PR) The 2022 grad utilized a clean, line drive barrel plane through extension that allowed for all fields  contact. Tripled in his last at-bat of the game. 

Drew Beatty (2024 SS, Independence, IA) The 2020 grad showed a good leveraged in his swing with the ability to generate barrel whip at extension. Doubled in his last at-bat of the game. 


Orange vs Red Game Highlights

8/8/2020

Noah Thein (2022 C, Dewitt, IA) Showed good hustle throughout the day with good feel for the barrel at the plate. Consistently created solid contact and picked up a hustle double down the left field line in his first at bat of the game. 

Tyler Klee (2021 3B, Kansas City, MO) Klee shows plus power at the plate with very good bat speed. Ball jumps off his barrel when squared creating easy carry to the gaps. Homered to deep left field in his first at-bat and followed it up with a  double his next at-bat. 

Charles Richmond (2021 1B, Indianapolis, IN) Also showed very good strength at the plate while utilizing a naturally leveraged barrel plane through extension. Collected two hits including a deep double to the right field corner that was only held in the park due to a stiff wind. 


Royal vs. White Game Highlights

8/8/2020

Tanner Thomas (2025 RHP, Arcola, IL) had a good day at the plate and on the mound for the Royal team, collecting a pair of singles and running the fastball up to 80mph. The right-hander showed a good pair of pitches for strikes and has a high-contact approach. 

Trey Snyder (2024 SS, Kearney, MO) was a standout, collecting two hits in the game and showing well defensively. Snyder has young bat speed that will develop with time and can impact the ball to all fields with relative ease. 

Frank Vlasaty (2025 OF, Lake Saint Louis, MO) had a pair of hits for the Royal team. Vlasaty hit a line drive single into left field in his first trip to the plate. 

Adam Kayko (2024 3B, Waukee, IA) had a loud double to deep center field in the game, swinging with intent and flashing that gap-to-gap power. Kayko has a smooth swing from the left side and can do damage to all fields. 

Joey Stewart (2025 RHP, Mattoon, IL) tossed three strong innings for the White team, allowing just one hit and striking out four. Stewart ran the fastball up to 80mph and showed some feel for a pair of secondary offerings  in the low-60s curveball and low-70s changeup. 

Keagen Jirschele (2024 SS, Wausau, WI) had a strong day at the plate for the White team, finding the barrel with some frequency and creating hard contact in each trip to the plate. Jirschele is an athletic shortstop who's stick will continue to be a big factor. 

Noah Marschke (2024 LHP, Stevens Point, WI) was lights out on the mound for the Royal team, striking out five and allowing just two hits over three shutout innings. The fastball up to 80mph is an uncomfortable look for hitters paired with the feel to land a curveball for strikes a 65mph. 

Jackson Glueck (2024 1B, Kansas City, MO) collected a pair of hits in the game. The switch hitter was able to reach base via both sides of the plate and showcases bat-to-ball skills that are advanced for the age. 


Gold vs Gray Game Highlights

8/8/2020

Zachary Olson (2023 RHP, Muskego, WI) The 2023 grad showed very good poise on the mound with the ability to locate fastball to each edge of the plate. Created good running action to arm side up to 86 mph. Also flashed good feel for both a 10/5 curveball and sinking changeup. Consistently created weak contact throughout each inning of work.

Jaden Kramer (2022 3B, Cedar Falls, IA) Showed a balanced approach at the plate with a knack for finding the barrel. Looked to drive the ball to the middle of the field collecting two hits including a double in his last at-bat of the game. 

Kole Younger (2021 C, Fenton, MO) Utilized a naturally leveraged barrel plane that generated tight back spin off the barrel when squared. Collected three hits in game action including a double in second at-bat of the games. 

Henry Read (2022 RHP, Marion, IA) Doubled in his second at-bat of the game showing the ability to turn the barrel to contact and generated bat speed.
