Batting Practice Highlights
Teague Carper (2029, Hampton, Va.) swung it well from the right side with some feel to impact and turn hard. He works back up the middle with barrel accuracy and an aggressive move through it. He showed some lift and feel to create some jump off it. Good bat speed showing during his good round of BP swings.
Zachary Liu-Bailey (2029, Arlington, Va.) swings it from the right side with hard turns and some bat speed working through it. He was able to get extended well and drive the ball in the air working pull-side. He worked the other way and put together a good round of swings overall.
Mason Temple (2030, Emporia, Va.) swung it well, working back up the middle, with good strength to impact it out in front. He had some extension working through it and was able to show an accurate barrel. There were good traits on display as he showed projectable actions with a good round of BP swings.
James Williams (2028, West Chester, Pa.) took a good round of BP swings with good length through contact. He worked back up the middle into center field with bat speed and feel to work on the barrel. He was able to impact it well and produced some well-struck balls during his round of BP swings.
Christopher Moore (2029, Chesapeake, Va.) swung the bat well during BP with a shorter stroke and some feel to lift and create loft. It was a projectable swing at the plate that showed during his round of BP. He drove it well with some lift and leverage ability – mostly working back up the middle throughout his round.
Brady Wickham (2030, Doswell, Va.) showed good barrel accuracy with bat speed and hard turns working through contact. He was able to impact it a bit and drive hard through contact. His best results came working back up the middle and pull-side. It was a loose and projectable stroke that got the job done during his round of BP swings.
Troy Bates (2029, Beaufort, N.C.) swung the bat well during BP with some bat speed and ability to create length and get extended. He was able to produce a good round of swings, with his best results working back up the middle and pull-side. Showed some projectable actions in the box.
Dominick DiCarlo (2029, Hampton, Va.) swung it well from the right side with a good feel to get the weight on the backside and show some bat speed. He was able to produce some line drives working backside, and he was able to find ways to live on the barrel for a great round of BP.
Frankie Juguilon (2028, Chesapeake, Va.) swings it well from the right side with a slightly open stance and some feel for the barrel. He was able to work uphill through contact with good barrel accuracy. He worked pull-side throughout the round and put together a really good round of BP swings on the day.
Thad Woodward (2030, Hertford, N.C.) has a left-handed stroke with good turns and some feel to work pull-side in the air. He was able to show good barrel whip with his best swings, working pull-side in the air. Took a good round of BP swings.
Thomas Bianco (2029, Triangle, Va.) was able to show a shorter stroke with some hand speed and bat speed. He worked pull-side with feel to impact it out in front. He showed some jump off the barrel and with feel to work pull-side for a good round of swings during BP.
