Orange vs White Game Highlights

Ed Michael Santini (2022 C, Waukesha, WI) Showed a quick, compact bat path with a line drive plane. Consistently barreled the baseball and created sharp contact.

Gabriel Monosmith (2021 C, Ankeny, IA) Displayed good feel for the barrel with a simple, repeatable path. Showed good control for the bat head with the ability to work the ball to all fields.

Zach Dantuono (2021 RHP, Chesterfield, MO) The Missouri native created late running action to arm side with a fastball that sat in the mid to upper 80's, topped at 89 mph. Consistently located to the bottom quadrants of the zone while effectively missing barrel and inducing weaker contact.

Luke Wickenhauser (2022 RHP, Hardin, IL) Created good downhill plane from a high three-quarters slot in the mid 80's, topped at 86 mph. Worked ahead in counts and utilized a tight, late breaking curveball in the low 70's to keep hitters off balance.

Will Vierling (2022 C, Mequon, WI) Shows a mature approach at the plate with the barrel skills to work to all fields. Consistently delivered the barrel to contact with authority and produced hard contact between the gaps.

Mason Behn (2022 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) The 2022 grad generated solid arm whip through extension from a three-quarters slot. Fastball flashed occasional life with good downhill plane in the low 80's, topped at 84 mph. Behn also displayed good feel for both his breaking ball and slider offering.

Logan Dobbberstein (2022 RHP, Pewaukee, WI) The Wisconsin native shows a very projectable build that will continue to add strength. On the mound, Dobberstein utilizes a loose three-quarters arm slot that created good running action to arm side in the low 80's, topped at 84 mph. Consistently located to each edge of the plate throughout his innings of work and induced weak contact.

Seth Clausen (2021 RHP, Bettendorf, IA) The 2021 grad aggressively attacked the bottom of the strike zone with a fastball that topped at 90 mph. Fastball showed heavy actions through the zone that jumped on hitters quickly. The Bettendorf native also showed tight spin with his breaking ball that generated later, hard depth in the upper 70's.


Batting Practice Highlights

Ben Loos (2021 C, Harrisburg, SD) Loose showed a naturally leveraged barrel plane with present bat speed. Consistently turned the barrel to contact and generated loud contact to the middle of the field and pull side.

Thomas Curry (2023 C, Hartland, WI) Displayed a balanced swing through the zone with a linear barrel plane. Showed a mature approach with good feel for the barrel throughout the zone. Consistently created sharp contact with the ability to work the ball all fields.

Colin Horneman (2022 C, St John, IN) Displayed a simple, repeatable barrel plane with quick hands through the zone. Utilized a mid field approach but also showed the barrel control to work the ball to all fields.

Charlie Bogue (2021 C, Verona, WI) Utilized a quick, compact hand path to contact and showed present strength with bat speed. Consistently barreled the baseball and displayed good strength to gaps when squared.

Gavin Bennett (2021 C, Green Oaks, IL) Displayed present bat speed through the zone while attacking the baseball with intent. Aggressively turned the barrel to contact and produced loud contact to the middle of the field an pull side.

Will Rogers (2021 C, Shoreview, MN) The Arizona State commit showed impressive bat speed with strength while at the plate. Rogers generated good jump off the barrel while employing a naturally leveraged barrel plane. Consistently produced hard contact with easy carry to all fields.

Will Vierling (2022 C, Mequon, WI) Showed good balanced throughout his swing with a naturally leveraged barrel plane. Stays behind the baseball well at contact and showed the ability to hit with strength to all fields.

Benjamin Raveling (2021 C, Storm Lake, IA) Utilized a simple, repeatable line drive barrel plane through extension. Consistently barreled the baseball and created sharp contact to the middle of the field.

Jackson Powell (2021 C, Ankeny, IA) Displayed a loose, lifted barrel plane through extension while launching to contact with rotational lower half actions. Showed present strength in his swing with the ability to turn the barrel and create loud contact to pull side.

Max Oliveira (2022 C, Chicago, IL) Showed a quick, compact hand path to contact with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Utilized a high contact approach with the barrel field to work to all parts of the field.

Dominic Hann (2020 RHP, Washington, MI) The Michigan native displayed an easy, repeatable 3/4 arm slot while on the mound. Fastball jumped out of hand generating heavy run to arm side in the upper 80's to low 90's, topped at 91 mph. Hann consistently worked ahead of hitters and flashed solid feel for both a curveball and slider offering.

Noah Berndt (2021 C, Larsen, WI) The 2021 grad showed quick hands through the zone with present bat speed. Consistently delivered the barrel to contact with intent and generated loud, hard contact when squared.

Will Rogers (2021 C, Shoreview, MN) The Arizona State commit showed plus bat speed and strength while at the plate. Rogers utilizes a naturally leveraged swing plane that generated very tight back spin off the barrel when squared. Showed very easy power while at the plate. Also impressed on the mound working up to 89 mph while showing good feel for his secondary pitches.

Gunnar Goodwin (2021 RHP, Orono, MN) The Minnesota native displayed good command to both edges of the plate with his fastball. Consistently worked in the low 80's while topping at 84 mph. Goodwin showed good poise while on the mound and consistently induced weak contact.

Trenton Burkhalter (2021 C, Stacy, MN) Showed a mature approach at the plate with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Displayed good barrel control while at the plate with the ability to work the baseball to all fields.

Thomas Curry (2023 C, Hartland, WI) The Wisconsin native showed a smooth, fluid swing plane with good extension at contact. Consistently looked to throw barrel head to contact with intent and generated good jump off the barrel when squared.

Tommy Boba (2022 RHP, Wheaton, IL) Boba displayed good feel to the bottom of the zone with a fastball that produced run to arm side in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 mph. The 2022 grad also changed speed effectively with a breaking ball that flashed later depth in the upper 60's.

Rich Snider (2021 RHP, Springfield, IL) Released from a loose three-quarters arm slot. Fastball flashed occasional jump to the plate with good downhill tilt in the low 80's, topped at 84 mph. Sniders also showed good feel for his breaking pitches consistently keeping hitters off balance.

Kyle Rossy (2022 RHP, Glen Ellyn, IL) Rossy released from a lower three-quarters arm slot creating natural sink with run in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 mph. The 2022 grad utilized a slider offering to change speed and created solid sweep to glove side in the low 70's.

Nicholas Smith (2021 RHP, Chicago, IL) The Illinois native showed a clean, repeatable delivery while releasing from a three-quarters slot. Smith showed the ability to consistently locate his fastball to the bottom of the zone in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph. Effectively changed speeds while maintaining arm speed through extension with both his breaking ball and changeup offerings.

Noah Keller (2022 LHP, Goodrich, MI) The 2020 grad displayed good running action to arm side with a fastball that topped at 83 mph. Keller looked to attack hitters early in counts and changed speed effectively once ahead.
