Dorian Larson (2027 C, San Jose, CA) Even base with a big stride, flashing plus bat speed and the ball jumps off the bat, creating good back spin.  On the barrel throughout the round.

George Gibbs (2026 OF, Ukiah, CA) Big time bat speed, swinging with intent and staying on a line.  Showed plus power potential impacting to the pull side.  Solid bat to ball approach with gap power, working the whole field.

Eric Nelson (2026 OF, Madera, CA) Wide base with low hands and no stride.  Excellent bat speed.  Impacted to the pull side consistently.  Loud round of batting practice for the incoming senior.

Matthew Baas (2028 1B, Redding, CA) Physical presence in the box swinging with intent.  Beat up the gaps, backspinning hard hit balls.  Power potential with feel for the barrel

Seddrick Henderson (2026 OF, Richmond, CA) Excellent bat to ball skills, swinging with intent, catching the barrel consistently.  Loud off the bat and athletic in the box.

Levi Wellman (2026 OF, San Carlos, CA) Showed good intent with excellent bat spin.  Fluid swing, showing athletic traits.  Gap power with more to come. On the screws throughout the round.

Tyler Williams (2026 C, Brentwood, CA) Showed power potential with physical presence in the box.  Level bat with power potential, showing athleticism in the box.  Over the fence power potential.

Jadyn Robinson (2026 OF, Antioch, CA) Uphill bat path with a pull side approach and plus bat speed.  Used the entire field, swinging with intent.  Over the fence power potential.

Michael Manzi (2026 C, Arcata, CA) Loud round of batting practice and took it over into game action.  Level path with loud barrels, swinging with intent and working to the pull side. 

Daniel Dicante (2028 SS, Reno, NV) Really solid round, showing all-fields approach.  On the barrel throughout with good bat speed swinging with intent.  

2-Orange vs 1-Gray Game Highlights

6/1/2025

Rallin Covey (2026 RHP, Pinole, CA) got the start on the mound for 1-Gray, going two-innings, allowing two-hits, one run and struck out three.  Fastball up to 88, staying around the zone with the entire mix.  

Seddrick Henderson (2026 OF, Richmond, CA) took the ball for 2-Orange in the start, ran the fastball up to 89 coupled with a devastating changeup at 80 mph.  Went three-innings, giving up two earned and struck out four.  Caught a barrel out front in the 6th, clearing the left-fielders head to one hop the wall for a standup double.

Levi Wellman (2026 OF, San Carlos, CA) continued his hot weekend at the plate with a seeing eye single back up the middle.  Caught another barrel in the 6th to the pullside over the head of a leaping second baseman.

Ezra Flanagan (2028 3B, Alameda, CA) went to the pull side in the 2nd on a line for a base-knock to set up 2-Orange with runners on first and second.  

George Gibbs (2026 OF, Ukiah, CA) caught the barrel in the 3rd, going to the back side, clearing the RF head for a standup double.  Continued his hot streak over the weekend, staying on the barrel throughout.  

Thomas Padilla (2026 RHP, Corona, CA) barreled up a line drive in the 4th back up the middle.  Solid bat to ball stroke catching it out front and doing some damage. Two-way projection after a solid outing on the mound on Saturday.  

Daniel Dicante (2028 SS, Reno, NV) continued his hitting ways on Sunday, going back up the middle towards the SS side for a base hit to set up 2-Orange with runners on 1st and 2nd in the 4th.

Eric Nelson (2026 OF, Madera, CA) came out of the 'pen for 1-Gray for a couple of solid innings in relief, running the fastball up to 88 with high spin (2300+).  More velocity down the line with a solid blend of pitches.  Two-innings pitched, no runs and struck out four.  

Vishnu Iyer (2027 SS, San Carlos, CA) Went to the pull side to on a line in the 5th for 2-Orange to set them up with runners on second and third.  Quick hands through catching a barrel.

Michael Manzi (2026 C, Arcata, CA) went on a line in the bottom of the 6th to the left side for a base-knock, adding another hit to his solid weekend.  Stole a bag to set up 2-Orange in scoring position.  

Dalton Vandeburgh (2028 SS, Cottonwood, CA) pulled it out of the attic, getting on the top hand to go to the backside.

Daniel Mills (2026 LHP, Santa Rosa, CA) legged out an infield single in the 7th and later stole home for the winning run, pushing Gray over Orange 4-3.

1-Gray vs 2-Orange Game Highlights

Thomas Padilla (2026 RHP, Corona, CA) got the ball for 2-Orange to start the game, running the fastball up to 92.  Had the entire mix working today, landing everything in the zone.  Curveball was firm with solid depth at 76 and the changeup was devastating, sitting 76/77.  Went three-innings without allowing a run and struck out five.

Matthew Baas (2028 1B, Redding, CA) got the start on the mound for 1-Orange.  Physical traits working down the bump.  Four-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball, slider and changeup.  Worked quick, stayed around the zone.  Went three-innings allowing two runs and struck out two. Went to the backside in the 3rd for a base-hit in a 2-strike count.  

Vishnu Iyer (2027 SS, San Carlos, CA) got the 2-Orange bats going in the 1st, going to the back side in a 2-strike count for a base-knock.  Balanced approach with full plate coverage while swinging with intent.  

Daniel Dicante (2028 SS, Reno, NV) caught the barrel in the 2nd for 2-Orange, going the other way on a rope to set them up at 1st and 3rd.  Level path going with the pitch on the outer half and swinging with intent to impact the baseball.  Went backside again in the 7th, hitting the chalk down the line for a standup double.  

Ezra Flanagan (2028 3B, Alameda, CA) Went back up the middle in the 2nd for an RBI base hit for 2-Orange.  Fought off a ball on the inner half to get a run across.

Daniel Mills (2026 LHP, Santa Rosa, CA) went to the backside on a line in the 5th for 1-Gray.  Solid piece, staying back and working the other way.  Came out of the bullpen for a couple of solid innings in relief, going three innings, allowing one earned and struck out four.

Dalton Vandeburgh (2028 SS, Cottonwood, CA) Turned on fastball in the 5th and stayed on a line for a base knock.  Hard hit ball to the pull side to set 1-Gray up with runners on 1st and 2nd.  

Tyler Williams (2026 C, Brentwood, CA) Went to the backside in the 6th to leadoff the inning with a base-hit for 2-Orange.  Added a second hit in the 8th to the pull side for a two-hit day.  

Levi Wellman (2026 OF, San Carlos, CA) came in out of the bullpen for 2-Orange, throwing a couple of productive innings, staying around the zone and working quickly.  Two-innings pitched, didn't allow a run and struck out three.

Michael Manzi (2026 C, Arcata, CA) connected on one of the hardest hit ball of the game in the 6th, going right back up the middle on a line for a loud barrel. Doubled to the wall down the pull side to score aa pair in the 8th.  

Jadyn Robinson (2026 OF, Antioch, CA) caught a barrel in the 8th for a base knock, scoring later in the inning from 1st.
