16-Navy vs 13-Col. Blue Game Highlights

8/10/2025

Weston Schorer (2030 3B, Kennewick, WA) struck out SO over IP strong innings on the mound. He worked the heater up to 72, keeping it around the zone throughout. Also mixed in a curveball that showed 11-5 tilt, while advertising a change-up in warm-ups. 

 

Ethan Nigbor (2029 SS, Eastvale, CA) ripped a barrel to the pull side, legging out an inside-the-park homer. An athletic infielder with projection, he showcased a strong arm at shortstop during game action. 

 

William Ulrich (2029 SS, Playa Vista, CA) came through with a clutch knock, doubling to right to plate a run. Utilized a simple right-handed operation with efficient actions and feel to hit. 

 

Maksim Tucker (2029 OF, San Diego, CA) struck out four over 2.2 innings of work in game action, allowing just a run. Worked his fastball up to 73 while mixing in a mid-60s curveball to keep hitters off balance. 

 

Jaycob Beltran (2030 1B, Valley Glen, CA) came in out of the ‘pen and delivered a clean 2.2 inning outing, striking out a pair and failing to allow a run. Ran a lively fastball up to 79, utilizing a low-60s breaking ball throughout. 


BP Highlights

8/9/2025

Ethan Nigbor (2029 SS, Eastvale, CA) got off strong hacks all round long. Damage intent to each swing. Balanced overall stroke. Loose/uphill path into contact. Worked the middle/LC gap consistently. 

Jacob Aragon (2029 C, Upland, CA) showed a balanced swing that has good feel for the barrel. Stayed behind it well and worked the bat on a flatter/level path. Worked through the middle of the field.

Kameron LaBauve (2029 C, Oceanside, CA) was on-barrel the majority of his round. Loose hands work into a lower launch where the barrel then works uphill into contact. Path shows good length where he stayed through the gaps with contact. 

Rey Jacob Romero (2030 3B, El Cajon, CA) showed intent to catch it out front where he was on-barrel for about 8 of his 10 swings. Loose hands worked the barrel on a flatter path through with flashes of some quality bat/hand speed. 

William Ulrich (2029 SS, Playa Vista, CA) displayed a compact swing where he works more short to it and level through it. On-barrel a whole lot where he worked the gaps with several LDs. 

Tommy Batalla (2029 MIF, Escondido, CA) showed flashes of some decent bat/hand speed during his round. Some natural lift to the swing. Produced some hard pullside liners and quality backspun flyballs. 

Ethan Kintner (2029 3B, Los Angeles, CA) got off several good swings during his round. Produced leveraged barrels into the gaps. Stays behind it well. Clean uphill path that works with length through contact. 

Jacob Ozeretny (2030 OF, Fullerton, CA) produced several hard top spun liners to the pullside. Swing path worked more direct and downhill but showed decent feel for the barrel.

Presley Rivas (2029 C, N. Hollywood, CA) was on-barrel a bunch to the pullside during his round. Path worked short-to-long where he stays inside it well. Present strength with good leverage in the swing. Stayed into the LC gap consistently. 

Tupu Bustillo (2030 1B, Lawndale, CA) showed loose, rhythmic and strong hands that can really whip the barrel. Got extended on most hacks sending hard LDs into the LC gap. Was on-barrel the majority of his round. 

Brandon Kurz (2030 3B, Tustin, CA) got off some intentful hacks. More down-and-through path that got the barrel out front consistently working quality LDs to the pullside. Flashes of some above avg. bat/hand speed for his level. 

William Lee (2029 OF, Yorba Linda, CA) showed noticeable above avg. bat speed and strength. Uphill barrel path that worked hard LD/FB contact through the middle with backspin. Stayed behind it well and consistently impacted it. 

Carter Hughes (2029 3B, Peoria, AZ) worked an uphill barrel into contact with intent to lift. Present real strength and bat speed that showed. Impacted it real good in the air to the pull side. 

Tony Harviston (2030 C, Fountain Valley, CA) found a ton of barrels during his round working sharp liners to the pull side. Quality bat speed and creates good leverage. 

Colt Jaekel (2029 C, Murrieta, CA) showed strong intent to each hack. Loose and relaxed to start but displayed quality bat/hand speed. A bit of a handsy path but sent hard LDs back through the middle of the field. 

Duke Klasfeld (2029 SS, Studio City, CA) got extended and on-barrel a bunch. Impacted it well showing bat speed and strength with a couple hard LDs/FBs to the pullside. 

Easton Zamudio (2029 C, Riverside, CA) worked the middle of the field with hard LDs and FBs. Balanced swing where he stays behind it well. Loose uphill pat with good length. 

Maksim Tucker (2029 OF, San Diego, CA) had a strong round showing strong intent to each swing. Turns the barrel with ease on a clean path. Creates good leverage and showed adjustabilty to the swing as well. 

 

14-Gold vs. 15-Gray Game Highlights

Austin Misuraca (2030, Bakersfield, CA) lined a ball the other way for a base hit to lead things off and followed it up with another base hit later in the game. A clean path to contact gets one plane early with a quality all-fields approach. 

 

William Lee (2029, Yorba Linda, CA) smoked a ball to the backside gap for a triple early and followed it with an inside-the-park homerun later in the game to the pullside gap. A compact frame has strength present that allows for impact to all fields.

 

Emery Hernandez (2030, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) roped a ball down the line for a double. A simple operation with a lofted path looks to catch it out front often. 

 

Mason Mcphail (2030, Fowler, CA) lined a ball back up the middle for a base hit. A strong frame plays well at the plate with an approach geared toward the big part of the yard. 

 

Ethan Kitner (2029, Los Angeles, CA) laced a ball into left field for an RBI single. Strength plays at contact with impact off the barrel. Kitner also showed two-way ability on the mound, running the fastball up to 78 mph with feel for a slider and changeup. 

 

Jacob Ozeretny (2030, Fullerton, CA) extended the lead with an RBI single to center field. A clean path to contact and good balance allow for line drives to be sprayed gap to gap. 

 

Jake Morin (2030, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) roped a ball down the line for an RBi double. Quick hands turn the barrel well with some sneaky pullside impact present. Morin followed the double by quickly stealing third base. 

 

Carter Hughes (2029, Peoria, AZ) collected a base hit on a line drive to center field. A strong frame stays connected well into contact with an approach through the big part of the yard. 

 

Presley Rivas (2029, N. Hollywood, CA) found a found a loud barrel late in the game with a triple to left-center field. A strong fame plays at the plate with a lofted path geared to drive balls pullside. 

15-Gray Vs.16-Navy Game Highlights

Nickolas Peralta (2030 C, Long Beach, CA) Squared up a fastball offering and drove one up the middle for a ground ball single.

Nolan Park (2030 3B, Fullerton, CA) Let the ball travel deep shot a soft line drive single to the back side (LF) 

Jake MORIN (2030 OF, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) Pulled his hands in nicely and squared up a fastball for a ground ball base hit through through the 6-hole. Added a long fly ball double over the left fielders head. 

Duke Klasfeld (2029 SS, Studio City, CA) Ambushed the first pitch of the AB and squared up a fastball for a line drive base hit over the shortstops head. Stole 2nd base.

Easton Zamudio (2029 C, Riverside, CA)Pulled his hands in, got the barrel on a fastball offering, pulled it down the 3B line for an RBI triple. Added another RBI triple down the 3rd base line. Plus run tool. Good looking player. Added a line drive RBI double into the RCF gap. Added a line drive single through the 6-hole. 4-for-4 on the afternoon.  A HR shy of the cycle.

Jorge Benavides (2029 1B, Bakersfield, CA) worked a solid AB and torched a ball into the RCF gap for a hard hit line drive double. 

Miles Saldivar (2029 LHP, Long Beach, CA) Took a fastball offering, squared it up for a hard hit line drive base hit through the 6-hole for an RBI.

Parker Strago (2029 RHP, Everett, WA) did a nice job letting the ball travel and shot a line drive single to the back side (RF) Stole 2nd base. Stole 3rd base. Added another line drive base hit to right field. high level bat-to-ball guy.

Colt Jaekel (2029 C, Murrieta, CA) Squared up a fastball on the outer half of the plate and drove it to right field for a line drive RBI

Noah Rodriguez (2030 SS, Bremerton, WA) Hard hit ground ball single through the 4-hole.

Tyler Walters (2031 SS, Orange, CA) Squared up a fastball and drove it through the 4-hole for and RBI single. 

Garrett Boyko (2030 3B, Cypress, CA) Soft ground ball single up the middle

13-Columbia Blue vs. 14-Gold Game Highlights

8/9/2025

Maverick Ayala (2029, Carlsbad, CA) smashed a double to deep right field to lead things off. A lean frame stays compact to contact with an all-fields approach. Ayala followed it up with a base hit through the pullside later in the game. 

 

Ethan Nigbor (2029, Eastvale, CA) lined a pair of hits the other way. A simple operation stays behind it well. An advanced runner, Nigbor looks to be aggressive on the bases.

 

Tommy Batalla (2029, Escondido, CA) put on a show at the plate, collecting four hits with a double, a pair of singles, and a triple. Loose hands create a whippy barrel with some bat speed present. 

 

Ethan Kintner (2029, Los Angeles, CA) roped a ball to the pullside for a base hit. Features a compact build with strength present and can generate some impact off the barrel. 

 

Luke Navarro (2030, Apple Valley, CA) lines a ball back up the middle for a base hit. A simple operation stays short to contact with an approach through the middle of the field. 

 

Logan Arellano (2029, Ramona, CA) threw the ball well out of the pen. The righthander ran the fastball up to 76 mph with heavy armside run. Feel for a curveball at 62-64 mph was shown, creating quality depth on the offering. 

 

Jacob Ozeretny (2030, Fullerton, CA) burned the center fielder for a triple late in the game. A short path to contact allows for the barrel to be fired on time.
