Gavin Berigan (2027 SS, Thousand Oaks, CA) showed off one of the better swings of the HS All-State group. Simple operation that is balanced throughout. Easy uphill turn of the barrel with quickness. Tight turns with intent. Barreled several hard into the LC gap.
Tyler Cornish (2026 OF, Camarillo, CA) showed flashes of some twitch and bat speed. Strong wrists really whip the barrel through. Simple swing operation. Produced several hard top spun liners to the PS.
Cash Gerecke (2027 OF, Bakersfield, CA) produced easy barrels throughout his round. Slight uphill path from the left side. Balanced turn. Stays behind it and creates leverage. Worked through the gaps.
Jaxson Neckien (2027 OF, Westlake Village, CA) showed flashes of quality bat speed and impact within a simple stroke. Direct barrel path with a pull-side approach but drove a few loud LDs back through the middle.
Tyler Wertz (2026 C, Valencia, CA) showed a real loose and easy turn of the barrel in his swing. Send several LDs back through the middle. Flashes of above avg. bat speed for his level. Good length to the path and present barrel accuracy.
Jayden Goldman (2026 1B, Santee, CA) showed big strength and intent to his swing. Uphill path through the zone and stays behind it well. Creates good leverage with his lower-half.
Parks Kronk Hawley (2027 OF, San Diego, CA) displayed a rhythmic stroke that works on an uphill path. Quality bat/hand speed. Caught several barrels out front showing a more PS approach.
Nathaniel Avalos (2027 1B, Newhall, CA) stayed through the middle of the field with LDs with his balanced/compact stroke. Clean bat path that has good direction. On-barrel a bunch and a ton of hard contact.
Matthew Daines (2028 SS, Glendora, CA) pounded the gaps throughout his round showing good barrel accuracy. Balanced stroke with quality quickness to the hands. Gets off his backside well.
Matthew Favela (2027 C, Pasadena, CA) was on-barrel a majority of his round. Short and level through the zone with some decent strength at impact. Balanced and behind it.
Liam Heasley (2027 OF, Norco, CA) showed flashes of some real strength and bat speed. Uphill bat pat that produced hard top spun liners to the pullside.
Guillermo MacFarland (2027 MIF, Chula Vista, CA) caught barrels consistently out front during his round showing pull side intent. Balanced LH stroke where the barrel works uphill into contact.
Alex Noble (2028 3B, Hidden Hills, CA) showed some easy whip to the hands/barrel. Clean bat path working uphill with some length. Drove several LDs/FBs into the LC gap.
Anton Romo (2027 C, Los Alamitos, CA) has strong hands that translate to quality bat speed. Produced several hard LDs back through the middle. Stays behind it well.
Jackson King (2026 C, San Diego, CA) produced consistent hard contact during his round. Tight uphill turn of the barrel with damage intent. Stayed through the gaps.
Ace Arizumi (2026 MIF, Honolulu, HI) was on-barrel a majority of his round. Good length to the path especially out front where he sent LDs into the LC gap.
JJ Metcalf (2028 C, Irvine, CA) showed flashes of some quality strength and bat speed. Works the barrel level through the zone. On-barrel during a lot of his round and worked through the middle of the field.
Ely Olesen (2028 OF, Dana Point, CA) swung it with intent to lift the baseball. Decent strength with a barrel that works on an uphill path through. Quality backspun FBs throughout the round.
Diego Ramirez (2026 OF, Downey, CA) caught out front barrels consistently throughout his round. Loose uphill bat path that produced quality LDs/FBs into the LC gap.
Joshua Angulo (2027 1B, Corona, CA) impacted it hard into the RC gap. Strong and balanced hacks. Uphill barrel path with above avg. bat speed for his level. Consistent out front intent.
Jack Kaplan (2027 1B, Los Angeles, CA) showed a real loose LH stroke. More short-to-long path with good length out front where he caught most of his barrels. Drove several deep into right.
