Batting Practice Highlights: Showcase
Christopher Brown (2026, Brentwood, Tenn.) took some good hacks during BP. He showed a simple and smooth swing, with good feel to impact it well and work to the pull-side part of the field. He has a clean operation, and he yielded good results. The best results came when working pull-side, but he used the whole field. Brown is an Air Force commit.
Brady Rallo (2028, Chesterfield, Mo.) was able to show off an aggressive move and clean path into contact. He had some loud impacts working backside, and he was able to work pull-side as well. He gets some jump when he’s on the barrel and was able to show good strength off it. Finished the round of BP off strong.
Tyler Rasch (2027, Maryville, Ill.) had a smooth left-handed stroke on display during his round of BP swings. He threw the barrel head well and was able to impact it with some strength. He showed good bat-to-ball skills, and he was able to stay short to it and impact well, working pull-side. He hit some balls hard and took a good round of swings.
Seaton Thompson (2026, St. Louis, Mo.) is a switch-hitter who showed traits to like from both sides of the plate. He swung it well from the left side, finishing the round off well with good swings. He showed the ability to lift the ball and banged one off the fence on a hop, showing some feel to lift it. Thompson is a Mizzou commit.
