2018-2019 Iowa Select Off-Season Training

Event Information
This is the third year of team off-season training for the Iowa Select program.  Each age group will be training at our indoor facility on Saturdays from December 8th, 2018 until February 23rd, 2019.  

The big focus of the off-season program will be developing a players overall skills and tools. our staff is second to know  Position players will get a lot of defensive work and hitting work.  We will utilize a lot of smaller group training with a small player to coach ratio.  Pitchers will be shut down from throwing until January and will start their winter throwing program at that time.  Pitchers will be working out with the position players until the throwing portion begins.  We will also incorporate some speed and agility training with the program.  

This year's workouts will include instruction by Junior College coaches from the State of Iowa. December 8th we have Marshalltown CC Connor Dawson , December 15th Southeastern CC Justin Schulte ,  Dec 29th  Marshalltown CC Connor Dawson , Jan 12th Iowa Western CC Marc Rardin , Jam. 19th NIACC Travis Hergert. We have other professional instructors including Tim Evans led instructor and former BIG 12 and BIG 10 coach . 

The training session will run from 10AM to 12PM.
