Champions Park Rules:

- Park Map Located on Event Info Menu
- Park will open at 7:30am each day
- Batting cages located between fields 11 & 16
- Bring your own chair - NO Bleacher seating
- No sunflower seeds or gum allowed at park
- No outside grilling allowed at park
- Seating is allowed in backstop area (no tents). Please leave room for golf carts.
- Tents only allowed in outfield area
- Dogs allowed, must be on leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets.
- RVs are allowed but can not stay overnight

Event Information

This is the inaugural PG AA/AAA World Series Qualifier to be played on the turf infields of Champions Park in Newberry, FL. Winners earn FREE entry to the 2023 AA/AAA World Series in Sanfond, FL in June of 2023. Space is limited.

Due to the limited number of spots for teams in each division, payment is the only way to secure your spot in the tournament once approved.

In order to pay with ACH (Bank Account), you must submit payment at LEAST two weeks prior to the start of the event. If you submit payment less than two weeks from the event, the option will no longer be available and payment must be made via credit/debit card including the 3.5% technology fee.

All teams should be prepared to play at 5:30 PM on Friday the 5th.

Players born on/after May 01, 2011 are eligible. ONLY TWO school grade exemptions per team will be allowed for players who are in the 5th grade who turn 12 years old before May 1st, 2023. However, those players must be born on/after January 1st, 2011 to be eligible.

We are pretty much a high-school oriented organization, so where the best players go, we will be there. We have sometimes up to 10 or 11 scouts covering Perfect Game events. It gives athletes the chance to compete at the highest level of their age group, in a team or showcase format, in some of the best facilities in front of both colleges and scouts.

Results are what count...

Perfect Game set a new record for the tenth consecutive year following the 2011 MLB draft. Of the 1,530 players selected, 1,323 had attended a Perfect Game event, and 294 of the first 331 picks were Perfect Game alumni. Many of these alumni had participated in multiple Perfect Game tournaments, showcases and/or leagues.

In the past ten years, 9,073 Perfect Game participants have been chosen in the MLB First-Year Player Draft. However, these figures do not account for the many Latin American free agents who participate in Perfect Game showcases and tournaments and then sign with Major League clubs. One can only imagine how many Perfect Game alumni will ultimately reach their dream of playing Major League Baseball down the road.

Perfect Game does not take any credit for the numerous outstanding players selected in the draft or the many more who go on to play college baseball. Perfect Game simply provides talented players a means to be identified and evaluated closely while competing with and against the best worldwide. Perfect Game identifies players, provides an opinion, and then lets Major League scouts and college coaches form their own.

MLB scouts and college coaches make the most important decisions, and luckily, they follow what we do very closely - not only in person, but online as well.
