It doesn't get any bigger in college baseball than this weekend's series between Tobacco Road rivals North Carolina and North Carolina State.

Both the Tar Heels and Wolfpack entered the 2013 college baseball with incredibly high expectations. The Tar Heels have been ultra consistent this spring with a 40-3 overall record, while the Wolfpack, who has a 33-10 overall record, has been terrific the past couple of weeks and is in the midst of a 15-game winning streak.

Though the Tar Heels have the edge in some important categories, the series is very even with the Wolfpack incredibly hot from an offensive standpoint.

As usually is the case, we take a very in-depth look at the PG National Series of the Week between No. 1 North Carolina and No. 6 North Carolina State.
