Virginia, Florida and Texas A&M had especially strong weeks to remember.

The Cavaliers hosted Florida State in a huge ACC series with major national implications. They didn’t disappoint in the three-game set, taking two of three from the Seminoles in a hard-fought series.

Florida hit the road over the weekend to face LSU in an important SEC bout. The Gators were very impressive on the mound and had plenty of timely hits on the way to the road series sweep over the Tigers.

Texas A&M was a surprise against Oklahoma. The Aggies defeated Cal State Fullerton in midweek action earlier in the week before hitting the road and silencing Oklahoma’s offense on the way to a series victory.

Though the Cavaliers, Gators and Aggies lead our winners, there were plenty of other teams with successful weeks.

There also are teams that had weeks to forget, including College of Charleston, which went 0-3 in its own tournament with losses to Southern Mississippi, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

We take an inside look at college baseball’s weekly winners and losers.
