Just like that we have reached the midway point of the season, and the calendar will flip to April with the national picture starting to come into view. That being said, we just went through out second straight week of complete upheaval within the Top-25. Five of our Top-10 have a new rank and 18 of our 25 teams find themselves in a new spot this week. But, amongst all the chaos, the clubs at the top continue to take care of business with no end in sight.

Our Top-7 teams remain unchanged but there was one small change with now No. 3 Arkansas (26-3) trading places with No. 4 Clemson (26-5). The Razorbacks went on the road and swept No. 21 Vanderbilt (20-8) and continue to surge on the offensive side of the ball to compliment their relentless pitching. The Tigers went (3-2) on the week, losing to No. 19 Coastal Carolina (20-8) but did win a hard fought series in Atlanta against No. 22 Georgia Tech (22-6). The Tennessee Volunteers (26-2) remain No. 1 with their flawless week and sweep of South Carolina. Meanwhile, No. 2 Georgia (28-2) continues to make its case as the best team in the land, sweeping No. 14 Auburn (20-8) as they lead the nation in home runs and slugging percentage. The Texas Longhorns (23-3) hold tight at No. 5 after their (4-0) week, No. 6 Florida State (23-4) won their series in South Bend and No. 7 LSU (26-3) swept SEC foe Mississippi State.

No. 8 Alabama (25-4) is one of our big risers this week after winning a monster series against No. 9 Oklahoma (22-5). The UCLA Bruins (22-5) rocket up the board to No. 10, as they take control of the Big 10 and other clubs ahead of them fell by the wayside. No. 11 West Virginia (22-4) makes another move upward after they went on the road and scored 44 runs in a series win at BYU. UC Irvine (21-5) continues their ascent, up to No. 12 this week after their clean week with four wins. Last but not least, there are two new clubs this week with No. 16 Ole Miss (21-6) jumping into the middle of the poll after they knocked the Florida Gators out of the poll completely. No. 25 Arizona State (19-9) makes their season debut, has won 7 of their last 10 and swept Utah on the weekend.
