PERFECT GAME SEC ANNOUNCES NEW HIRES
Sanford, Florida (January 13, 2025) - Perfect Game, the world’s largest youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service, today announced new hirings to Perfect Game SEC.
John Hayes has been tapped as a Baseball Director for the South Carolina Coastal region. In his new role, Hayes will oversee operations for up to 2,500 teams, bringing his extensive experience and passion for the sport to one of the most dynamic regions in amateur baseball.
Hayes comes to Perfect Game with over two decades of expertise as a Baseball Director for USSSA, where he played a pivotal role in organizing and developing programs that fostered the growth of thousands of young athletes. Simultaneously, Hayes served as a high school baseball coach for over 20 years, guiding numerous players who would go on to be selected in the first round of the annual MLB Draft. His reputation for excellence and commitment to player development has made him a respected figure in the baseball community.

Perfect Game SEC has also added Carrie Lyons as Director for Softball. Lyons will oversee operations in Columbia, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas, starting with 500 teams and aiming for significant growth in the coming years. Lyons brings a wealth of experience and a passion for advancing youth softball. Her leadership is expected to create new opportunities for players and teams in the region.
