Class of 2026 Rankings Risers

Gio Rojas, LHP/OF, Stoneman Douglas HS (FL)
Previous Rank: 27 | Current Rank: 19

One of the top 2-way talents in the country. Hit .462 with 6 XBH across 50 plate appearances in PG tournaments in 2024. Highlighted by a grand slam to straight away centerfield at the 16u WWBA in July. A 6-foot-3 left-handed pitcher that is an athletic mover with big upside on the mound. Was up to 93 in Jupiter as part of a three pitch-mix that included a sharp low 80’s slider that is already an out pitch. Struck out 6 in his 3 inning Jupiter outing. A lot of big time tools with the production to back it up. Trending toward up toward the top of the 2026 class.

Malachi Washington, OF, Parkview HS (GA)
Previous Rank: 79 | Current Rank: 57

An athletic outfielder that has always showcased top end speed and barrel skills. Took a big step forward with the power tool in 2024. Overall hitting .398 with 6 home runs and 14 total XBH in 2024 PG events. Has the skill set to develop into one of the more dynamic power/speed threats in the country. And should stick in centerfield long term. Up 22 spots to end the year in out player rankings.

Bryce Hill, RHP, Greenwich Country Day HS (CT)
Previous Rank: 92 | Current Rank: 63

A standout Jupiter performance featuring a fastball up to 95 as part of a four pitch-mix that overwhelmed hitters at times. A 6-foot-5 right handed pitcher that is beginning to really take a step forward as premium arm in the 2026 class. Has the frame, pure stuff and arm speed to develop into a top level starting pitcher. And he took a big step forward in solidifying himself as an elite pitching prospect in 2024.

Sean Dunlap, C, Crown Point HS (IN)
Previous Rank: 450 | Current Rank: 136

One of the top catch and throw guys in the country behind the plate with the work ethic and blocking skills to become perhaps the top defensive catcher in the class. Put together some competitive at-bats in Jupiter and showed some potential to develop into a gap to gap hitter. A major rankings riser in 2024 with the talent to make another leap forward in 2025.

Jimmy Huard, RHP, Western HS (FL)
Previous Rank: 171 | Current Rank: 88

A projectable right-handed pitcher at 6-3/195 with an athletic delivery and clean arm slot. Put together an impressive 2024 at national level tournaments. Threw 29.2 innings in PG events this year and pitched to a 1.18 ERA with 46 strikeouts. Was up to 94 in Jupiter and showed the low 80’s slider with tilt that was an out pitch all summer long. Jumps into the 2026 class top 100 to end 2024.

Myles Ross, IF, Maranatha Academy HS (KS)
Previous Rank: 301 | Current Rank: 190

A switch-hitting infielder that burst onto the scene this summer while performing well at multiple National level events. Overall hitting .452 4 extra-base hits across 39 plate appearances in PG events in 2024. Highlighted by making the Jupiter All-Tournament team. An athletic plater with barrel control skills from both sides of the plate. Stood out as a high level in game performer all year long. Makes a big jump in the 2026 class rankings to end 2024 with the profile to make another jump with continued development in 2025.

Ivan Sabater, RHP/IF, West Broward HS (FL)
Previous Rank: 500 | Current Rank: 165

One of the major risers in the 2026 class rankings to end 2024. A big time athlete and true 2-way talent that performed on both sides of the baseball in PG tournaments this year. Hit .421 with 6 extra-base hits in 24 plate appearances in PG events. Had a standout 3-for-3 game at the 16u WWBA in July with 2 doubles and a home run. Was 90-94 at underclass worlds this year and 90-93 two weeks later in Jupiter. All the tools and big time arm strength to make another leap in 2025.

Kayden Campbell, OF, Pope HS (GA)
Previous Rank: 335 | Current Rank: 256

A consistent high level performer in PG events in 2024. A blend of developing pure hit and power at the plate with one of the smoothest right-handed swings in the class. Overall hit .373 with 20 XBH, including 6 home runs across 152 plate appearances in 2024 events. Also stole 18 bases this year. The versatility, feel to hit and developing power/speed combo makes this an upside offensive threat. With the talent to make another leap forward in 2025.

Michael Ramsey, RHP, Parsons HS (KS)
Previous Rank: HF | Current Rank: 286

There may not have been another player in the country that had the same velo jump as Ramsey did this summer. Culminating in two outings this fall that saw his fastball reach the low 90’s. Including an outing in Jupiter where every fastball was 90+ and topped at 93 mph. The vertical depth slider in the low 80’s has the traits of a true swing and miss out pitch. A really fast arm from a wiry athletic frame. Burst onto the scene late in 2024 and may continue that climb in 2025.

Colin Harrison, LHP, Mount Saint Joseph HS (MD)
Previous Rank: 500 | Current Rank: 266

One of the top performing left-handed pitchers in the country in PG events for 2024. Pitched to a .54 ERA and struck out 26 hitters in 13 innings. Also hit .471 with 2 home runs in 25 plate appearances at PG events as well. A fastball up to 90 at the underclass world championships this October, a firm slider in the 80’s and real feel for a fading change up. Had a dominant 13 strikeout performance in a 6 inning shutout at underclass worlds. Another major rankings riser in the 2026 class.

-Blaine Peterson

Jordan Martinez, SS, Trinity Christian Academy
Previous Ranking: 58 | New Ranking: 26

All it seems Martinez has done for about the past year is hit at an extremely high level. It is stand out bat/hand speed that translates to serious in-game impact to all fields that was on full display at WWBA Underclass where he had himself a couple loud HRs. Besides his bat he’s also a strong athlete/runner, a sure-handed SS and has an above avg. arm across. LSU commit.

Yodelkis Quevedo, 3B/SS, Mater Academy
Previous Ranking: 99 | New Ranking: 33

Our scouting staff was impressed with the level of impact Quevedo showed at both WWBA Underclass and WWBA Worlds. He punished baseballs with regularity within a simple swing operation. He maintains balance where he stays behind it noticeably well while also getting consistently on time. There’s easy strength and quickness to the hands that allow for well above average bat speed as he turns the barrel on a more lofted path through. He has top of the class pullside power, but he has also shown the ability to drive balls the other way as well. Currently uncommitted.

Steele Hall, SS, Hewitt Trussville HS
Previous Ranking: 108 | New Ranking: 47

Hall had himself one of the better summer/fall circuits of anyone in the country. In 2024, he slashed .463/.567/.815 across five PG tournaments which included WWBA Worlds, Fall Elite Championship, National Elite Championship, and 17U WWBA. He keeps it simple at the plate where he still taps into quality bat speed and power which he flashed with a 411ft HR at WWBA Worlds. He’s put himself in the conversation with the best SSs in the country where he combines his elite athleticism with some really strong defensive skill and an above avg. arm. He sits at #47 now but I believe there is Top 10 upside here. Tennessee commit.

AJ Curry, 1B/OF,  University City
Previous Ranking: 214 | New Ranking: 95

Our scouting staff heard a lot of positive things out of Kentucky earlier this year on Curry and he got fully on our radar after strong performances at 16U WWBA and WWBA Worlds. It’s one of the purest left-handed strokes in the class where he has shown this innate feel for the barrel he pairs with the ability to really lift to the pullside. The bat is very real, and it looks like a defensive profile that can stick at a corner OF spot where he has some sneaky arm strength. Will be a fun San Diego follow now where our SoCal staff will be all over it.

Ryan Engle, LHP/1B, Westchester Country Day
Previous Ranking: 164 | New Ranking: 115

Engle ended up having one of the more impressive two-way summer/fall circuits in the entire ‘26 class. At the plate he slashed .320/.470/.520 across 24 tournament games where he shows easy juice from the left side. Then he jumped on the mound where he had a 2.05 ERA in 13.2 innings with 21 strikeouts. It’s a developing operation down the mound but he runs it up to 91 and has a swing and miss upper 70s slider. He stands an ultra-projectable 6-foot-5/200 pounds where he' shown quality athleticism and body control. Our staff believes he’s just scratching the surface of his potential on both sides of the ball. Georgia Tech commit.

Guy Lynam, SS/3B, Gloucester Catholic
Previous Ranking: 222 | New Ranking: 151

Lynam was a Northeast favorite this tournament season where he had a couple big performances at the Mid-Atlantic Fall Select Championship and the Mid-Atlantic World Series. Our staff out there has raved about his pretty left-handed swing that is loose and fluid throughout the operation and gets to serious impact when he catches it out front. There’s also quality defensive skill on the dirt and some arm strength he displays on the mound where he’s been up to 90. Auburn commit.

Andruw Giles, OF, Basic HS
Previous Ranking: 373 | New Ranking: 177

Giles was a very consistent performer throughout the summer and fall and it culminated with a strong week out in Jupiter where he played a significant role in CBA’s championship run. At the plate, it’s an athletic swing where there is real twitch to the hands and hips that translates to above average bat speed and impact. That athleticism translates into the outfield where he closes gaps with ease and shows some arm talent as well. Oregon commit.

Deacon Nelson, SS, University HS
Previous Ranking: 290 | New Ranking: 240

Nelson is another athletic LHH/SS profile that rises in this rankings release. Offensively, he showed off his power several times throughout the tournament season where he gets to it within an easy balanced swing where that power played to all fields. It's a strong present hit/power combo but he can also really run as well and can pick it at shortstop with the best of them. Virginia commit

Calvin Moreau, SS/RHP, Monana Grove
Previous Ranking: 396 | New Ranking: 330

There aren't a whole lot of boxes that Moreau doesn’t check when you look at his overall profile. He’s got really good size (6-foot-3/185), plus athleticism, strong defensive actions at short with arm strength, and was a standout offensive performer across 22 PG Tournament games where he slashed .467/.554/.756. He also flashed some pitching ability where he gave up just two runs in 10.2 innings where he struck out sixteen. He runs it up into the upper 80s with the fastball and mixes in a quality breaking ball he can land for strikes. Upside here is extremely exciting. UCF commit.

Drew Christine, LHP, St. Johns College
Previous Ranking: 500 | New Ranking: 407

Our staff only had two looks at Christine, but they were both dominant. He threw four no-hit innings with ten strikeouts at the WWBA Chesapeake Championship and three shutout innings at WWBA Worlds. Christine doesn’t have overpowering stuff but it’s an easy left-handed arm to dream on. He’s a wiry projectable 6-foot-3, 165 pounds and shows a clean, low-effort and athletic operation down the mound where he creates good extension at release. His fastball sits in the mid 80s, T87 and has strong carry through. Also shows the ability to land an effective sweeping slider and depthy changeup. Tennessee commit.

Best Game I Saw: The Dream NTL 18U vs. MBA Scout Team Murphy Jupiter always brings out the best, and we got fireworks from the jump. Turner Marshall gave The Dream an outstanding 4+ innings of work on the mound, holding a lethal MBA team at bay with Chance Dixon, Derrick Carter, and Ellis Appling providing an offensive spark out of the gate for the Georgia based boys. However, it was only a matter of time before the talent on the other side got going, as MBA erased a 3-run deficit in the 5th to take a 4-3 lead led by a Parker Loew HR. The Dream then took command again in the Top of the 6th, before MBA punched right back with a huge 5-run inning in the bottom half capped off by a clutch RBI single from Matthew Kerrigan, ending a wild sequence with tons of notable performances from two very competitive rosters. Best Tournament Performance I Saw: Surely someone has already brought this...

Nebraska Cornhuskers 2025 Highlights: The Cornhuskers were a difficult team to figure in ’25 as they finished with 33 wins, played just .500 (15-15) in the Big Ten but had some big wins at various times during the season and got hot at the right time. They knocked off then #16 Vanderbilt in the second game of the year, beat #5 Oregon State 2-out-of-3 at home in late March and then got hot at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha to win the Big Ten Tournament. They beat Michigan State in a 10-inning thriller before taking care of #4 Oregon, knocking off Penn State and then shutout #13 UCLA to punch their ticket to the Chapel Hill Regional. Head coach Will Bolt has now led his alma mater to three conference titles and three NCAA Regional appearances during his six years in Lincoln. No different than when he was a player, Bolt’s teams play with passion and toughness, this was never more...

Finest in the Field: Class of 2026 | Class of 2027 You like athletes? You like defenders who can impact a game at any given point? Look not further than this class as it's loaded from coast-to-coast with elite defenders all over the diamond.  C: Brogan Witcher, Bakersfield, CA Our scouting staff got several strong looks at Witcher whether that was at the Summer Kickoff, Sophomore National or the Underclass All American Games where he showcased his strong overall skillset and especially his advanced ability behind the plate. His 6-foot-3,180 pound build looks like one that will fill in quite nicely and be that big and physical catcher’s frame. His arm talent is undeniable where he gets it out quick and runs it up to 79 mph on throwdowns to 2nd (1.84 pop). Besides the standout catch/throw ability, we’ve seen him frame/receive strong arms and block it well during...

BURLINGTON, IA - 2025 Perfect Game Softball Toys 4 Tots Fundraiser One Day, December 7, 2025. Kicking off the holiday season, six teams participated in this one day, 3 game guarantee tournament in the 18u Division. We would like to thank those that donated a toy, and know that they will be distributed to area underprivileged children through a local charity organization. Following are some of the top performers from the weekend. Earning Tournament MV-Pitcher was Jolee Strohmeyer (2026 Dubuque, IA), a RHP/UTIL with tournament champion Lady Expos Blue. Strohmeyer shows hitters a consistent and repeatable motion and delivery with good use of the legs in the drive phase, and a quick and aggressive arm whip. Working with a six pitch mix of fastball, change-up, rise, drop, curve and screw, Strohmeyer topped out at 60 mph, and showed good movement  as she worked her rise and curve just out...

The game was an efficiently played affair with arms dominating on both sides. Graham Schlicht was masterful for Alpha, striking out 12 hitters over 5 dominant innings. PG All-American Julian Cazares came out of the pen blowing smoke, touching 97 mph with the fastball. On the other side, Jake Carbaugh surrendered just one hit and...

Finest in the Field: Class of 2026 Elite defenders from coast to coast certainly seems to be a strength and to think you could make another top-tier team without thinking, speaks to the real depth this group possesses. The infield is a no-doubt strength of the group, but what catcher Dariel Carrion can do behind the plate is like something we haven't seen in a while in the prep ranks with an absolutely bazooka of an arm.  C: Dariel Carrion (San Juan, PR)  It isn’t often you get a catching prospect as athletic and natural as Dariel Carrion, a big reason why he holds the rank of #1 player in PR and #18 nationally. Metrics wise, the 5-foot-10, 210 pound San Juan native is all you can ask for and more, posting a sub 1.80 pop time with an 84 mph arm behind the dish. He has both contact and clear power threat on the offensive end, ending 2025 with a .337 BA and 4 HRs while also...

The Class of 2026 is one of the deeper prep classes that we have seen in a couple of years. With that being said, there is plenty of talent on the defensive side. Extremely advanced actions are shown behind the dish with impressive athleticism to go with it. Brick showcases big time arm strength and is consistently accurate on throw downs. He can make playing the position look extremely easy at times. Brick possesses all the defensive tools needed to be a premier catcher.  1B: AJ Curry, University City HS (San Diego, CA) Curry has a bigger and stronger frame with good strength throughout.
