Performing with the stick and seeing time on the bump in the early morning exhibition, Ethan Surowiec (2024, Gulfport, Miss.) impressed in several facets. In his first at-bat of the tournament, the Ole Miss commit sent a liner backside, racing around the bases for a triple. The ball left the bat with a 94 mph exit velocity and the swing has simple components with lift through the zone. Surowiec jumped on the mound for an inning and pumped the fastball in at 91-93. The heater featured ride and life, capable of missing bats up. The righty also flashed a curveball at 78 with sharpness to it.

Sam Erickson (2024, Flower Mound, Texas) was another bat on Knights Knation/Dodgers Scout Team who impressed. The right-handed stick went three-for-three in game one on three loud b
