Best of the West Fall WS Scout Notes

Billy Gregory (2024, Scottsdale, AZ) displayed loud two-way ability throughout the weekend. The righthander was dominant on the mound, throwing four no-hit innings with six strikeouts and only one walk. A firm fastball at 88-92 mph overpowered hitters often. The offering works well at the top of the zone. Feel for a slider at 70-74 mph was thrown, landing it for strikes consistently. Sharp, titling action pairs well with the heater and allows for bats to be missed often. The stuff will play at the next level and should draw plenty of interest. At the plate, a strong, physical frame plays well in the box. Gregory swings with intent and looks to do damage regularly. There is quality gap to gap power present that will show up often during in-game action. It is a loud profile that made an impact throughout.
