WWBA Underclass Scout Notes: Day 1

Yamvier Raúl Carrero Rios (2025, Cidra, P.R.) was  a big standout on the day after performing with the stick and glove. He’a long, wiry talent with plenty of loose limbs to grow into. Rios stung two balls to both gaps and the 6-foot-2 body screams for added muscle and size down the road. The actions are quick and clean at short while staying in-sync complimented by a soft set of hands. His frame may move him over to the left side of the dirt potentially if it fully develops, but there’s untapped upside here in a solid international name. The stick is loose and whippy and he looked the part up the middle.  

Tobey Bajda (2025, Monroe, Conn.) was simply stellar in his start on Day 2. The uncommitted right-hande
