Midwest WWBA Notes: Days 3-5

Big right-handed hitter Carson Bjorn (‘26, Parkville, MO) crushed the baseball all weekend, with six hits including two homeruns. Worked the count in his favor and punished elevated pitches  with some loft in the swing. Begins wide in the box and doesn’t need a leg kick to get hips engaged. Drops hands into the slot quickly and drags them through with good shoulder torque. Ball carries further than anticipated when hit in the air, his homers were some of the deepest of the weekend. Plenty of upper body physicality in 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame. When lower half catches up, Bjorn should boast scary raw power. 

Right-handed hitter and shortstop Roman Moody (2025, East Peoria, Ill.) produced loud contact all weekend, while working good at bats. Also show
