Nate Slaughter (2024, Hahira, Ga.) had himself a day at the dish on Monday. He was able to handle that bat really well and pick up a couple of hits, including a 2-for-3 performance in one of his games, picking up 2 doubles. Slaughter has hit .429 with a .444 on-base percentage through the first two days of the event. He’s a bigger frame with strength showing in a sturdy build. He keeps the hand deep and toe-taps into contact. Slaughter has a good feel for the barrel to get on plane and drive the ball well. Attacked pull-side with several barrels and some good swings on the ball. The uncommitted right-handed hitter has found the barrel early on.
