14u BCS World Series Scout Notes

Collin Dieterle (2027, Mount Sterling, Ill.) mowed down hitters over his six innings of work, striking out five. The lanky right-hander lived at 73, touching 76 with his fastball, while landing a slurvy secondary for strikes. At 5-foot-11, 138-pounds, showed the ability to control lots of moving parts and repeat delivery. Settles into back leg well at the top before controlled linear drive, load hips well for ‘27. Arm action is whippy, ball explodes from high three-quarters slot, generated late swings and weak grounders all day. Very good athlete with high-upside base. 

Left-handed pitcher Gerad Hanle (2027, Clear Lake, Minn.) attacked the zone and overmatched many hitters over 6 ⅓ innings, punching out 10 while walking one. Great feel for zone, changed
