A near .500 career hitter in Perfect Game events, the Super NIT proved to be just another event for Kaleb Foster (2028, Montgomery, Texas) as he finished with a .455/.600/1.509 slash, including a pair of doubles in the team’s playoff game. Listed at 5-foot-9, 160 pounds, the two-time Select Festival alum already featured present strength throughout his frame and it was on display Monday morning from the two-hole in the Backyard Ballers’ lineup. His hands pack a punch and while there’s some strength off the barrel, there’s also a present hit tool as he was able to match plane on each double, showing a different element of his swing in each knock.
