*Due to inclement weather, the event saw co-champions as both Georgia Premier and P27 won their final matchups in the playoff round and a breakdown of P27's run to get them a share of championship is detailed below.

Hoover, Ala. – P27’s offense just proved too much for the entire field during their 2023 version of a championship run. In the end, they had to face Pro5 VA in one of the most anticipated matchups of the weekend. P27 would pull out the victory 9-4 in a game that featured 27 players who have committed or signed to a college.

In another final there was again a 12 hit outburst to power a championship game victory. P27 was firing on all cylinders, led by Nicholas Foster’s three hits, two runs, triple, and an RBI. Ethan Garner and Frank Kelly but had two hits a piece during the contest and combined to score four runs. Jaylen Hernandez, the eventual MVP, also connected on a triple and scored a run. The offensive was alive all weekend and never stopped. Alfonsin Rosario connected on a majestic blast early in the event that was talked about repeatedly by all in attendance.

Joey Calabretti, Tj Curlee, and Noah Chapman all put up scoreless outings in the championship game. Jonah Conradt was spectacular during pool play and Reece Usselman threw five no-hit innings to get P27 to the finals, and obviously would eventually sharing the title.

For Pro5 Va, Anthony Bianchina went a perfect 2-for-2 in the championship game with two RBI and two walks. Cameron Nelson and Trent Adelman both slugged extra base hits to round out a large portion of the potent offensive.

This was a well-coached and highly competitive matchup that exemplifies how far the academy division as come. P27 took home the hardware, but this game is a large billboard for a baseball division that is rapidly growing each year.
